My guilty pleasures are

1. Watching outrageous commercials on T.V, and then running over to Youtube to see if anyone posted the commercial and read the comments(i.e, Shamwow Commercial.) :)

2. My Dave stories. I just love my Dave character dearly!:)

3. Wondering what stupid thing that guy who likes Sunny on the Raisin Bran Crunch will say at the end of the commercials. :)

4. Brownie Earthquake from Dairy Queen. Oreos, marshmallow cream, vanilla ice cream, brownies, whip cream, and fudge sauce! Yum! :D

- Danielle Steel made-for-tv movies. Absolute crap - but perfect for a mindless Thursday. And it's a great way of getting some me-time. My dad or bro catch me watching one they run for the hills ;)

- VC Andrews books. Yeah, like Flowers in the Attic. Rape and incest and kidnappings, these books are scraping the bottom of the barrel. But you can't read Charles Dickens and Jane Austen all the time!

- Beer battered onion rings. I make them myself. And then I have a glass or two of wine afterwards. After three weeks on the nordic track I might make up for them.

- Dark Shadows. Just now started watching that show and now I just have to find out what happens next.

- Fanfiction.net. My username is princesspat. Now you know my deep, dark secret. I used to write fanfiction on here too. Maybe I will again...

HGTV - I enjoy watching thier shows like Design On A Dime which show really neat and inexpensive ways to modify or make stuff around your house into something unique. Whenever I'm in "project mode," i.e. making something (like today, I'm repainting some old picture frames and turning them into chalkboards) I have HGTV on in the background to give me inspiration.

Investigation Discovery Channel - Sure the entire channel is mostly just old Dateline NBC episodes, but I sometimes watch the channel for hours. Some of the stories are really interesting.

Cookies - I'm really trying to cut back on the junk food, but I just can't resist buying cookies. I need help!

Any "Police Video" show - I love watching the high speed chases and crashes. ALso that former Sherriff guy on Wildest Policve Videos delivers some of the worst line readings in the history of voiceovers. He cracks me up!

Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed - One of my newest guilty pleasures, MY9 here in NYC shows episodes Monday nights. I love trying to figure out how they do the tricks - and then they tell you how they do it! The ways they design these tricks fascinate me!

My guilty pleasure: I like to stay up after everyone else is sound asleep, eat blue corn chips w/green salsa and write Facts of Life fanfiction stories. (I do all of these things at once or else it's just not pleasurable enough ;))

I know...I'm strange.

Lifetime movies.

That's my favorite guilty pleasure. I love Lifetime movies.

Any type of food is a guilty pleasure for me, haha. Getting good food to go and eating it at the beach is another awesome treat that I enjoy.

Anytime I'm home alone, I like to blast either old school Britney Spears (pre-shaving her head) music or N SYNC and sing at the top of my lungs.

I love 80s movies, especially The Breakfast Club & Sixteen Candles. They just don't make them like they used to. Ferris Bueller's Day Off is another great one.

I watch What Not to Wear and Say Yes to the Dress. I've been watching What Not to Wear since I was in high school. It's such a guilty pleasure. All of my friends are annoyed by that show, but I just love it.

I still enjoy watching Disney movies, the classics. My favorite is The Little Mermaid, which I just saw last week. And I saw Aladdin recently as well. Watching them always brings back memories of my childhood.

And, I watch Spongebob from time to time...lol.

 So do I! Well, I miss them when I'm at work all day. I also have full conversations with them. They're great listeners.
LOL, how true. I was going to write that they don't talk back, but then I realized that they do. My late cat Foxy used to have conversations with me. I swear that cat said the word, "No" as clear as we do. I'd say, "Foxy, get down from that table, and he'd let out this long and loud, "Noooooooo". Amazing. I used to call him up from work and speak into the answering maching, and pray that nobody heard me. My husband and I, after a fun night out with friends, would be driving home and halfway there, we'd start talking about Foxy like he was our kid, wondering what he was doing, get anxious about seeing him.

One of my cats now, Lily, she's a Himalayan - half Persian, half Siamese. The Siamese part of her is so vocal. When she wants me out of bed, she yells at me. When I'm on the phone too long, she yells at me to hang up. I can only imagine full Siamese cats. Animals are really something. This site has so many animal lovers.

True crime shows/novels: I can get really involved in those, lol. I'm just really fascinated by the cases, the killers, and the techniques used to capture them.

Horror movies: Nothing better than curling up in bed, pizza or popcorn in hand, and watching a horror movie. Cheesy, gorey, downright campy...I love 'em all!

Entenmann's donuts: Yeah, I can eat a whole box of these

Fast food: Such a BAD guilty pleasure, but does that stop me? NOOOO, of course not!

Divas - Mariah, Janet, Madonna, Beyonce, you name it. But I think the bigger fascination I have is with some of their obsessive fans! I have a good time reading their chart and sales statistics, invalid arguements and their erratic use of the word "haters" over at the Pulse Music Board.

Miley Cyrus - I admit to buying every CD including the Hannah Montana soundtracks.

Lollipops - Something about them reminds me of my middle school days.

Oh No They Didn't - I totally don't post replies on the blog entries...

Punky Brewster (Particularily the first two seasons).
Most 1980's sitcoms, I'd list them, but it would be a long list.

Soft Rock/Adult Contemporary music such as Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.
Disney movies ie: The Lion King
Brownies

I love Sixteen Candles as well. I remember when the movie came out, I loved it so much! And, was Jake Ryan gorgeous or what!!!

I love movies from the 1980's as well; and no, they do not make movies like that anymore, which is a shame. I also love The Valley Girl, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High; two other teen based 80's movies, that are so much fun to watch...

Jake Ryan was indeed gorgeous. I remember when I first saw the movie I was in high school and I kept thinking "Hey! There are no Jake Ryans at my school!"

Soulja Boy- "Turn My Swagg On". Man, that songs horrible, but for some reason I can't stop listening to it. I love the beat and it's catchy.

Eating two dick's deluxe cheeseburgers.

A stuffed doll named Felicia that I've had since I was a baby that I sleep with every night.

I have begun to realize that almost every food that I like can be found on a kids menu in a restaurant. I'll take a grilled cheese over a cheeseburger any day! Kind of embarrassing when my husband pointed that out to me!!!

This is probably the reason I don't want kids. I'm still a kid myself!!! Well, not "age-wise", but certainly in a lot of other ways!!
