Sweeping high above the studio on a harness, Cohen hit an obstacle, spun down toward the audience and landed face down in the lap of Eminem, exposing his naked bottom to both the white rapper and to millions of viewers watching the awards show live on television.


MTV said Eminem stormed out "in a heated rage" after the incident at the Gibson Amphitheatre near Los Angeles where the live awards show was taking place.

If this stunt was staged (and it probably was) I give Eminem credit for trying to have fun at his own expense. That guy is takes himself way too seriously, IMO.

Sarah is right, it was staged. But this is the funny part. It was staged, but staged so that Cohen would get on the harness and land on Eminem's lap, but instead MTV and Sasha made it into a personal prank & joke on Em, and instead landed on his face ROFL.

And did everybody know, the original target was going to be Paris Hilton but she declined to take part in it, so Em was the culprit lol.

That sh*t was hilarious though, and I'm a big fan of Em. I know Ardis was happy to see that happen, with all the Mariah Carey sh*t he's been saying, ex. "Bagpipes From Baghdad" off his new album....But that was great.

I didn't hear what Sasha said when he came down, but this is apparently what was mostly said during the incident.

Sacha Baron Cohen and Eminem scripted and rehearsed the outrageous stunt at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards that left the rapper's face buried in the funnyman's crotch.

Audience members and TV viewers were left stunned when Baron Cohen, in character as gay fashionista Bruno and dressed as a giant dove, fell from the roof of the Universal Ampitheater onto Eminem's lap.

The Slim Shady star was heard angrily protesting before storming out of the show, accompanied by his entourage.

The incident provoked furious debate about whether the incident was staged or planned behind Eminem's back.

On Monday, Paris Hilton insisted Eminem knew nothing about it and his response was real - but now MTV's head writer has come forward to confess the star was in on it all along.

To my knowlege "Bruno" came about in 1998.

James, that story is correct, yet incorrect- please read what I said in previous posts in this thread. I have my sources if you need them. The incident was planned & staged, BUT so that Sacha would fly up, attached to the harness & land on Eminem's lap, for comedic effect.....what really happened- sacha & MTV crew members flipped the script geniously in my mind and got Sacha to land so Em knew it was coming, but land on his face with the butt cheeks and his a$$hole landing right in his face, and it worked....
