Yeah, the way SBS ended was a shame. They should have ended it with Dana and Rich getting married or something like that.

The ones mentioned were really good. I also liked the one where Carol and Bobby broke up on Growing Pains. They were going to elope and at the last minute, decided not to. Then at the end of the episode, Carol sees Mike and runs into his arms. Such a sweet episode. They never showed much of Mike and Carol hugging, much less being civil toward each other.

The last scene of Family Ties when Alex starts to leave and then turns around, goes over to his family and says "I really love you guys" and they all hug.

Growing Pains; when Mike goes to a party where everyone is doing drugs. Boner and Eddie want to go into the bathroom and do cocaine, but Mike leaves, and then has to tell his dad. I loved that episode. That might be my all time favorite Growing Pains one.

The series finale of "The Golden Girls" when Dorothy got married to Blanche's Uncle Lucas and left the show.:(

Good Times- After James' funeral, while the rest of the family was mourning, Florida didn't act sad and wouldn't cry. After all the guests left she went into the kitchen, paused , threw a dish on the floor, and finally broke down. The kids came running and threw their arms around her.

Bewitched - A is for Aardvark: there's a really touching scene at the end, unique for a show like that that will occassionally make me tear up

The Office - Casino Night: doesn't make me cry but when Jim talks to Pam at the end, I get a knot in my stomach

Also how Mike told Archie that even though he (Archie) had always thought he (Mike) hated him, he really loved him...and the look on Archie's face when he said it...unforgettable.

"The Pony Cart" - the scene at the end where Martha Corrine Walton (Zeb's sister-in-law IIRC) was picking flowers in a field and suffered a heart attack

"The First Casualty" - Erin's boyfriend G. W. Haines is killed in a training accident (he joined the Army)

"Day of Infamy" - the Waltons learn about the attack on Pearl Harbor, and Mary Ellen's husband, a doctor, was killed while out there (only to come back as another person in Florida in a future episode)

For The Wonder Years:

"Heart Break" - part one of the two-parter involving Winnie's breakup with Kevin

"Private Butthead" - Wayne skips his SATs and joins the Army (much to his parents' concerns with the Vietnam War still raging), only to be disqualified for psoriasis (his skin would peel in a jungle)

The one episode that wasn't designed to make people emotional but made me emotional was the final scene of Seinfeld, when the camera slowly pulls away from the foursome in the jail cell. I had a huge lump in my throat during that scene.

I remember seeing that episode when I was 11 or 12 and I cried.

The first episode of the Andy Griffith Show is a tear jerker. Opie can't accept Aunt Bee as the new housekeeper and gets mad when she lets his pet bird fly away. Aunt Bee realizes its not going to work out and decides to leave. But when she's about to depart Opie comes running to her and tells her she can't go!

I forgot about that one, it's my favorite. That episode made me choke up it was done so well. Ron was a great child actor.

I don't know why, but I kinda tear up at the last episode of the Wonder Years...maybe it's the music, maybe it reminds me of growing up....

I still wish they would have given the show a proper send off, but for ending it so quickly, they did alright.

When Grandma returns after being gone for so long after her stroke. She has difficulty communicating, and everybody tells her to just sit in her chair and treat her like an invalid. Finally she gets the word "need" out and Olivia realizes she doesn't feel needed. She tells Grandpa, who goes out on the porch and hands her the broom and says get busy. When Grandpa turns around, Grandma whacks him on the butt, and says "you Old Fool", and Grandpa is extatic and says SHE's BACK!

Also

When the family goes up to the cemetery to Grandpa's grave. I think this is when they acknowledge that Grandpa had died, since Will Geer passed away during the summer of that year. They give Grandma time alone.

Another tv episode that made me cry was the episode of One Tree Hill in which Peyton's biological mom Ellie dies of cancer.

Oh gosh, there are so many that have made me cry. The ones that come to mind are Little house eppys...they get me every time!! Also from Roseanne Fights and stuff, The Miracle and the season finale.

There is an episode of 90210 (The original) where Dylan finds out that his dad has died. My favorite scene is where he's in the living room and suddenly you see Dylan as a little boy, crying. The adult Dylan comes over and holds him. I love that episode. That's probably my favorite 90210 ever. I think you can even watch that scene on Youtube.

- I cried buckets during that Waltons episode where Grandma is recovering from the stroke. My own grandmother had passed away not long before that and it just made me miss her even more.

- The last episode of Perfect Strangers, where they show the clips of previous seasons to the song "Unforgettable".

- I also cried at Bewitched's first season episode A is For Aardvark. Charlie Harper, Winner (Season 3), What Every Young Man Should Know (Season 2), I Confess (Season 4), If They Never Met (Season 4) are also similar in tone. They are all very romantic and really showcase the electric chemistry between Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York. :love:

- Barney Miller's The Hero, where Chano is forced to shoot and kill two armed bank robbers. The scene where he breaks down sobbing in his apartment is just stunning.

I was touched when Potsie sang "Memories" at Joanie's and Chachi's wedding.

Almost every episode of Little House. Every time Laura cried so did I. There was an episode of The Waltons where the whole family went up on the mountain to visit Grandpa's grave. Each family member had a personal message for Grandpa about how their lives where going and how his influence was still affecting them. The last to speak was Grandma, who as you remember didn't speak much after her stroke. But she managed to say a very poigniant line "Old man, you live in all of us!" I really cried watching that episode and I'm tearing up now writing about it.
