Hi Everybody,

Just to let you all know that I have phlebitis but, I am doing just fine.
I am getting treated for it and I am not in any danger cause we caught it in time (thank god) but, I'm not completely out of the woods just yet.

It's in my left thigh that's affecting my leg and foot so now have to wear a special stocking, taking pills and have to get injections for now until the pills take effect enough, and then won't need the injections anymore.

They will be monitoring me for quite some time; my blood needs to get thinned out. So, any more updates; will let you know.

Sorry to hear about your Phlebitis, my brother-in-law also has that, he's taking a blood-thiner medicine for his. Sure hope you get it under control, my thoughts & prayers are with you.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know someone who has a blood clot.

Well, I am doing a lot better; swelling has gone down a lot in my foot and leg.
I got my last injection today; and will be going for another blood test tomorrow. For now, just keep taking the pills until they tell me otherwise.
Also, I am still wearing the nylon stocking which helps with the circulation.

Well, on Monday Oct. 5 was my last blood test and once I finish off these pills; then it's all over. I am so happy; no more blood tests and no more pills.
Also, I won't have to wear that nylon stocking anymore. :woohoo: :banana:

I will be calling the hospital tomorrow morning regarding my appointment for my head scan. I just hope that it can be done soon, and that they find nothing wrong. Please, wish me luck and will keep you all posted!!!!

Well went for my head scan yesterday and it went well. Now, just have to wait for the results to go to my family doctor, and then he will call me either way. I just hope it's good news and not bad of course; keep you all posted.

I still haven't received a phone call from my family doctor yet; hopefully he will call sometime this week, and it will be good news; meanwhile, I still have my headache but, the pain is not too intense. Keep You All Posted!!!!
