View Full Version : Do you believe in Ghost/Spirits? MonarC 04-28-2009, 09:19 AM Just curious... Sharop 04-28-2009, 11:05 AM Yes. My boyfriend is a medium and I want to learn to be one as well. I've been interested in becoming one for a while but I want to get a move on and start developing my abilities. In the meantime, I attend a Spiritualist Church where they invite mediums each week to deliver messages from spirits. dakert 04-28-2009, 11:40 AM How come it seems like Ghosts only come around when it is dark/night time?? If I was a spirit I would be scaring people all the time ;-) hahaha MonarC 04-28-2009, 02:34 PM I have heard stories from friends and family but I feel like I would have to see something myself to believe. Im not in any hurry to see anything though. ;) Hollow 04-28-2009, 02:35 PM absolutely. no other explanation for some things, and i'm very slow to blame things on the paranormal. Faith 04-28-2009, 02:57 PM Definitely. We live in my great-grandparents house. When my daughter was about 3 she was playing and talking to someone in her room. I go in her room to see who she is talking to, I see no one. So I ask her who she is talking to she says her grandma with the same name as her. My great grandma died in 1993, and my daughter is named after her. Chocoholic 04-28-2009, 03:48 PM I believe in angels, but not ghosts. Nighthawk76 04-28-2009, 05:15 PM I believe in spirits. As a Catholic, how can I not? As far as ghosts go, as Fox Mulder would say on The X-Files, "I want to believe". Brieannas21 04-28-2009, 05:29 PM I believe in spirits, But I do not believe in ghost. MickeyMac 04-28-2009, 05:56 PM I believe in the holy Ghost dawsongirl 04-28-2009, 09:17 PM Nope, only as a plot device in a story. MonarC 04-28-2009, 09:39 PM So what is the difference between Ghosts & Spirits? JamesG 04-28-2009, 09:58 PM So what is the difference between Ghosts & Spirits? A ghost is the disembodied soul of a dead person or animal. Spirits refer to any incorporeal being, as opposed to matter (something not a physical being). So ghosts are a type of a spirit; they have come from something that was once living. Think also from Native American tales; they had the spirit of fire, water, land.. pretty much everything. MonarC 04-28-2009, 10:21 PM Oh I see. Thanks JamesG. comedyfreak 04-29-2009, 10:06 AM I'm not really sure. I have not had any experiances with them. A couple of years ago I went to Hollywood and visited allegded places that were suppose to be haunted but, didn't see or hear anything. Fleet 04-30-2009, 06:26 PM I definitely believe ghosts exist. These are my two favorite ghost photos... MonarC 04-30-2009, 07:17 PM The one on the right is really creepy. Furienna 05-04-2009, 04:23 AM Yes, I believe in ghosts. I haven't seen one myself (yet), but so many other people have, that I have to believe, that there's something to it. Brad Russ 05-05-2009, 02:46 AM I believe in all that stuff. Angels, demons, whatever you want to call them, I know they're real. As a kid, I was often tormented by demons at nighttime when I would try to sleep, and as a young adult, I was visited by an Angel once, and it was an amazing experience. How could I not believe after that?? Fleet 05-05-2009, 06:54 PM I took 3 photos of my Mom last month. No flash was used so it wouldn't startle her. Two photos came out normal; one had a strange, unexplained blue light. I have no idea what that light is.  Faith 05-05-2009, 07:41 PM I took 3 photos of my Mom last month. No flash was used so it wouldn't startle her. Two photos came out normal; one had a strange, unexplained blue light. I have no idea what that light is.  Holy crap! I have a picture kinda like that, it was taken of my daughter, she was 9 days old. If i can find it, I will scan it and post it. MonarC 05-06-2009, 10:00 PM Yeah I have a picture of my son the day my grandma died and right next to him is a golden orb that is in motion. I have posted it here before. I have always wondered if it was her spirit or just some dust on the lense. |
