If you do exercise, what is your regime? I used to ride my stationery bike just about every day. That hasn't happened in a while, but I'd love to get back into it.

I hike 7 miles, 5 times a week; it takes me 2.5 hours; keeps me in shape, because I like to eat too much

The job I'm about to leave (as of Monday morning) and the new one I just started at are both very physical jobs. Eight hours of running around, lifting things, pulling things... Yep. That's 40 hours of exercise every week.

I'm really trying to get some sort of workout thing going again. I've really slacked off in that department over the last year. Going to start riding the bike again now that the weather is nicer.

I run 2 miles at least 2-3 times. I also try exercising a couple of times a week with Wii Fit and Wii Sports.

I exercise to low-impact and strengthening fitness DVDs for 30 minutes 5-6 times a week. My mother is naturally thin (and tall), but I'm not as lucky.

No, I don't exiercise. I know I should, but I've never been a fan of it. I'm not in shape.

I work out at work on my break. I do 20 minutes on the treadmill and do leg lifts on a bar to strengthen my stomach, plus a little weightlifting. 5 days a week all to give my sugar something to do, I have diabetes so I'm trying to get my glucose count down.

I normally do a combination of all three. I just have to get back at it. I belong to the local YMCA where I work on my stomach crunches and cardio. I also like to do an hour swimming in the pool.

Of course, on a gorgeous day like today, I wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to take a walk on a nearby trail. I got a little bit of a burn going, but its well worth it. What a great day. :D

I run every single day. Every morning I wake up at 5 or 5:30, I go to the lake or park, and I run for 45 min-1hr.

I watch Cannon and realize he lived to be 74 years old without any diet or exercise. My parents both died young from cancer 54 and 64 hmmm.

Yeah I work out- lift weights, exercising etc. I used to run back in my early highschool days, when I played hockey. So yeah I still do all of that.

I used to exercise but I don't anymore. I still take long walks a few times a week but that's about it.

I take some physical therapy twice a week, exercise is A MUST with my disability; since it causes gradual muscle deteration it's IMPORTANT to keep up muscle flexability. I don't always feel like it, and it's hard to get going some mornings ( H.S.P. also causes tirdness in some people, and it does in me, unfortunetaly:( ) but I keep telling myself how good it is for me.

I use to be an exercise freak, but I've gotten lazy over the last few years. I do walk atleast 4 miles a day, and I do the stationary bike thing a couple times a week, but I don't have any real regimen. I need to get one though. I feel much better physically when I have a real exercise regimen.

I HAVE to get back into exercising and lose this weight!! Not to brag or anything, but I'm a pretty girl, and I'm hiding behind 60 pounds of extra weight and I HAVE to get it off! I've started walking again, as far as I can, about 2 or 3 miles before I just can't breathe anymore, I'm so out of shape! My goal is to be able to run a few miles without getting out of breath and feeling like I'm going to die!

I walked like 10 miles today- walking my dog with my brother & just walking around...then played basketball for awhile as while...good productive day but tired as hell

^I could do 10 miles... in a car! :D

Anyway... I really don't work out at all... once in a while when the weather is nice, I'll go walking or biking, etc.... plus I walk a lot when I'm and school, and I eat hardly anything... so that helps keep me on the thinner side.

I go for walks and lift handweights, but that's it. I'm a couch potato and proud of it :D

I go walking as much as I can but honestly right now I don't have much time to go running/biking. I lost like 20lbs a year and a half ago so I'm really conscious of putting that weight back on so I'm really trying to eat well until I can get more exercise.

I don't exercise as much as I should. I used to walk quite a bit but got out of it. Maybe now that's it getting warmer again, I should start back up. I also have handweights that I use once in a while. I need to get back into that, too!!

I also keep between 1000-1200 calories a day, so I've still been able to lose weight, despite not exercising like I should.

I do crunches and elevated pushups almost daily. Elevated pushups are WAYYY harder than normal pushups if you're considering trying it.

Explain to me elevated pushups, Darren....I'm not familiar

You can use your bed or a sofa for this(I personally use my bed). Put your feet near the end of the bed/sofa and get into position like you would with a regular pushup. The goal is to go all the way to the floor and push yourself back up.

Wow I could never do that  but I'm sure it's a great exercise.

It wouldn't/won't F*ck up your back though? I have a bad back too & scholeosis as well.

If you do it right, it won't put any extra pressure on your back. It works out your chest muscles, triceps, and shoulders.

yeah that's true and good. it would, if anything, probably strengthen your back, given you don't have problems with it like I do. But I'll have to try it sometime. I want to get in shape and look good, and be toned but it takes a lot of work & commitment. gotta pull your weight, literally.

I run a couple of times a week. I also use the gym at the college I work at.
