It seems like the Detroit Lions are a cursed franchise. TVFactFan 04-24-2009, 11:20 PM well it looks like the first pick has already been made Sol... How come no GM ever researches how a franchise became what they are? Like how come the lions can research how the eagles built their team into a winner? Nobody at the Lions organization gets a paycheck to do that? Big C 04-24-2009, 11:29 PM Brian, what positions do the G-Men need to fill? Brian Damage 04-24-2009, 11:30 PM I think it is a safe pick by the Lions. I was never really impressed by Stafford in college. Brian Damage 04-24-2009, 11:30 PM Brian, what positions do the G-Men need to fill? wide receiver and linebacker definitely Waterston_Fan 04-25-2009, 11:33 AM Is the draft starting later? I told a poster on this Sports board the draft starts at 1pm EST. But now I'm hearing it's 4pm EST. What time does it start? Why is it starting later? Mr. Television 04-25-2009, 11:42 AM Is the draft starting later? I told a poster on this Sports board the draft starts at 1pm EST. But now I'm hearing it's 4pm EST. What time does it start? Why is it starting later? It starts at 4pm ET. It looks like the networks will air alot of pre-draft coverage though. I'd rather them just start the draft early. The Cowboys won't even have a pick until around 11 tonight. Waterston_Fan 04-25-2009, 11:52 AM It starts at 4pm ET. It looks like the networks will air alot of pre-draft coverage though. TVFactFan 04-25-2009, 12:48 PM Makes no sense at all. Next it will be at 9pm-lol Brian Damage 04-25-2009, 02:43 PM Yeah, there is no need to start this late. There is just so much analysis you can hear. TVFactFan 04-25-2009, 02:46 PM Yeah, there is no need to start this late. There is just so much analysis you can hear. Too much Analysis-lol mriggles 04-25-2009, 02:57 PM Hello everyone.... I am back from my winter hibernation LOL ITS DRAFT DAY BABY... THe day where my team infuriates me year after year..... How will they do it this year???? I want them to take either morneo or pettigrew.... I will be infuriated if they take a defensive linemen like I am hearing they may do.... Lets have some fun!!! Brian Damage 04-25-2009, 03:09 PM Mike, there is no dubt that the Eagles will get either Moreno or Beanie Wells Brian Damage 04-25-2009, 03:19 PM The St. Louis Rams are on the clock... mriggles 04-25-2009, 03:24 PM Mike, there is no dubt that the Eagles will get either Moreno or Beanie Wells Brian I am hoping for Moreno but I think unless the birds trade up they will not get him... That kid can play ball & will help whoever he lands with next year... I would be perfectly fine with them taking pettigrew from Oklahoma state... That kid is one of the better tight ends to come out in recent years & i like him alot... Knowing the eagles though they will wither trade out of the first round (AGAIN) or take a defensive linemen or a CB... I would be shocked if they actually do the right thing for once Brian Damage 04-25-2009, 03:37 PM Brian I am hoping for Moreno but I think unless the birds trade up they will not get him... TVFactFan 04-25-2009, 04:21 PM Why did ESPN just show a highlight of the Defensive End the Rams just drafted making a tackle AFTER A 25 YD GAIN???????????????????-LOL What kind of HIGHlight was that?-lol I thought ESPN was supposed to show the BEST highlights of a dradted player like maybe...........A SACK????? mriggles 04-25-2009, 04:22 PM Let me ask you, are you at your undisclosed bunker or are you at work? lol I am not in my undisclosed bunker LOL Although I should be there... :-) Big C 04-25-2009, 04:27 PM Chiefs select LSU defensive end Tyson Jackson. Seattle is on the clock- you-know-who is paying attention to this. Big C 04-25-2009, 04:32 PM Seahawks get Aaron Curry from Wake Forest. Seattle has a string of good defensive players- IMO, I wouldn't be surprised if they rebound to win their division. Brian Damage 04-25-2009, 05:11 PM Al Davis is a damn fool! He passed on Michael Crabtree for a receiver with more speed. The Raiders will never be worth a dang thing! Brian Damage 04-25-2009, 05:33 PM Well Mikey, Knowshon Moreno goes to the Broncos and the Redskins get a BEAST in Brian Orakpo! Brian Damage 04-25-2009, 05:38 PM The New Orleans Saints are on the clock... Mr. Television 04-25-2009, 06:16 PM The Eagles just took WR Jeremy Maclin . mriggles 04-25-2009, 06:44 PM I love the pick.... He is a kid with afterburner speed.... I never dreamed he would be available when the eagles picked..... NOW we have 2 speedsters... Now I just want a running back in rnd 2!!!! So far believe it or not I am not upset on Draft day Mr. Television 04-25-2009, 07:20 PM This is a long draft for us Cowboy fans. lol Mr. Television 04-25-2009, 09:08 PM Well that was fun. Incompetent Cowboys. TVFactFan 04-25-2009, 09:26 PM Sonny how did the Cowboys do? Mr. Television 04-25-2009, 09:35 PM Sonny how did the Cowboys do? They did nothing. They traded their 2nd round draft pick for a 3rd and a 5th. They're done for today. If they don't get anything tomorrow then this draft will have been a bust. Wreckless 04-25-2009, 09:45 PM Solomon will change teams anyway.... TVFactFan 04-25-2009, 09:49 PM They did nothing. They traded their 2nd round draft pick for a 3rd and a 5th. They're done for today. If they don't get anything tomorrow then this draft will have been a bust. They were DONE before today-lol Waterston_Fan 04-25-2009, 09:51 PM Chargers got Larry English. I kinda was hoping for Rey Magaluma or the guy the Redskins picked. But it sounds like the Chargers really wanted him, I just hope he can help. Mr. Television 04-25-2009, 09:55 PM They were DONE before today-lol Their pick came up and they weren't ready so they passed to Cleveland. It made them look stupid. Then they made the trade. I saw Wade in the War Room...must have been getting donuts for Jerry and Stephen. lol TVFactFan 04-26-2009, 12:17 AM Their pick came up and they weren't ready so they passed to Cleveland. It made them look stupid. Then they made the trade. I saw Wade in the War Room...must have been getting donuts for Jerry and Stephen. lol Were they snapping on the ZONE?-lol Mr. Television 04-26-2009, 12:43 AM Were they snapping on the ZONE?-lol They're on meltdown right now. lol Brian Damage 04-26-2009, 02:31 PM I hate to admit it, but the Eagles did pretty well in the draft. They didn't aquire any deep threats at receiver, but they got a few new Brian Westbrook types. Mr. Television 04-26-2009, 02:40 PM I hate to admit it, but the Eagles did pretty well in the draft. They didn't aquire any deep threats at receiver, but they got a few new Brian Westbrook types. I agree. I think the Eagles did very well. Waterston_Fan 04-26-2009, 07:23 PM I think the Chargers did well. Check out this guy we got as he blows up a scout. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koiYOwnpOTo&feature=related Waterston_Fan 04-26-2009, 07:27 PM I agree. I think the Eagles did very well. Very well? No, they didn't do very well. They did Great! Got themselves the Chargers call him the sorriest corner in the league. Waterston_Fan 04-26-2009, 07:56 PM Norv is smiling. I don't think I've ever seen him so happy. :) Waterston_Fan 04-26-2009, 09:27 PM Okay here is the link for the UDA players. Will have to scroll down and check the link quite a bit because I'm sure teams will be snapping up players they wanted. UDA (http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl) Wreckless 04-26-2009, 10:35 PM A lotttttttt of FAs out their....theirs a lot of QBs and RBs still left, for anybody to pick up. Big C 04-27-2009, 02:12 AM Eagles need a RB, IMO. McNabb is untouchable, Maclin will complement DeSean, we all know about Westbrook, and if they get a RB to take the load off Westbrook (thus diminishing the possibility of an injury) they'll have the NFC's scariest offense. Mr. Television 04-27-2009, 02:14 AM Well According to everybody on the Zone, the Cowboys got a fat F today. lol TVFactFan 04-27-2009, 02:20 AM Eagles need a RB, IMO. McNabb is untouchable, Maclin will complement DeSean, we all know about Westbrook, and if they get a RB to take the load off Westbrook (thus diminishing the possibility of an injury) they'll have the NFC's scariest offense.
