Yeah they almost have to make that pick and then start picking OL and then receivers. How come no GM ever researches how a franchise became what they are? Like how come the lions can research how the eagles built their team into a winner? Nobody at the Lions organization gets a paycheck to do that?

I think it is a safe pick by the Lions. I was never really impressed by Stafford in college.

It starts at 4pm ET. It looks like the networks will air alot of pre-draft coverage though. I'd rather them just start the draft early. The Cowboys won't even have a pick until around 11 tonight.

ITS DRAFT DAY BABY... THe day where my team infuriates me year after year..... How will they do it this year???? I want them to take either morneo or pettigrew.... I will be infuriated if they take a defensive linemen like I am hearing they may do....

Brian I am hoping for Moreno but I think unless the birds trade up they will not get him... That kid can play ball & will help whoever he lands with next year... I would be perfectly fine with them taking pettigrew from Oklahoma state... That kid is one of the better tight ends to come out in recent years & i like him alot... Knowing the eagles though they will wither trade out of the first round (AGAIN) or take a defensive linemen or a CB... I would be shocked if they actually do the right thing for once

McNabb is untouchable, Maclin will complement DeSean, we all know about Westbrook, and if they get a RB to take the load off Westbrook (thus diminishing the possibility of an injury) they'll have the NFC's scariest offense.
