You can be a culinary student and help share rent on an apartment with no regular job.

Always bar the door whenever you see Lana approaching.

Blond roommates are all different - some are ditzy, some are smart, and some are klutzy.

Muumuus can be a major turnoff, and so are leisure suits and medallions.

Never trust guys named Larry Dallas.

Roar and bark when people do/say things you disagree with.

Never trust Chrissy around chocolate pie.

Watch where you're going when you're riding a bike and pass a beautiful lady.

Never assume the person you wake up next to in the morning is who you think it is. They just MAY be your landlord.

Never take two tranquilizers if you plan on attending a formal party. Just don't. :p

Never walk around cindy when she's doing something. She is bound to cause you to trip.

When the roomates have guests. They always sleep in Jack's room.

:brent It seemed like that happened at least once a season!!

The time that I was thinking of was the one in which Jack took a job as Lana's professional escort. He did this to raise the money to buy a present for the girls. This was becasue of a giftwrapped package that he found in the girl's room while cleaning the apartment. He would have felt guilty if he did not buy them a present as well. When else did anything like this happen?

I remember that episode, but I think something like that happened during the Terri years, too. I was just exaggerating, though.

No, but I rented them. If I see it, I'll let you know. I may have actually confused it with another show, now that I think of it...

I am going to have to admit that I had forgotten about the coat episode! I will agree that for Chrissy to think that the coat that Jack bought on Mr. Roper's behalf for Mrs. Roper was her birthday present was very similar to Jack thinking that whatever was in the box in the girl's room was for him! The two were also similar in that, everything that happened as a result of the misunderstanding was pure slapstick!

I am pleasently surprised to see a post by "OKRay"! It has been a long time since I have seen anything new by him! I remember when he used to frequent the "Gimme a Break!" page of this site. Some of his posts there were very insightful and humourous! In any event, I am happy to see that he is still with us!

Never lie to your dates like Jack does (like saying you live alone when you don't or being sick when you're not) that's the best way to lose a girlfriend.

In the third season episode "The Harder They Fall" when Janet told a male customer that she talks to her ferns also and she gives her ferns steam baths, that was when she said "If it wasn't for giving love they'd be no living things."
