Beloved TV sitcom Happy Days is set for the porn treatment, thanks to Hustler video bosses.

After giving The Munsters, Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch the X-rated treatment, Hustler film bosses are now ready to sex up The Fonz, Richie Cunningham and the gang.

This Ain't Happy Days XXX will be directed by Axel Braun and the project stars Alan Stafford as Richie and Tommy Gunn as leather-clad biker The Fonz.

...i really don't understand what market they are trying to capture here?

- i mean classic television and it's wholesome values is the complete OPPOSITE of what they are producing.

I think that the market the producers are trying to capture is the people who grew up watching these shows, aka, the people who post on these forums. The name recognition and kitsch factor alone will sell DVDs.

They dont really give any details.... but, at least the soundtrack might be good (compared to most pornos) if they go with real 50s music, instead of that kitchy 70s crap they usually have

I don't mind Adult Movie in general. But WHY do they have to "parody" Tv Shows?

Having 'Happy Days' as a broadway musical - good idea

Having 'Happy Days' as an x-rated film - terrible idea

Sadly, there's no good family shows on the main networks today, not like it was 20 years ago. ABC, CBS, NBC, CW, and Fox should be ashamed of themselves for airing the trash that they call television. I heard Erin Moran even mention on an interview that TV shows just aren't the same anymore, that comment I agree with.

[COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]I have a Question: I always thought, Garry Marshall owns the Rights for the Names/Characters and All?

[

I don't think that Garry Marshall "owns" any of it since he was working for Paramount/Viacom/ABC when he was working on the shows. The studios may have some say regarding litigation in this matter, but I'm sure that they would not want to give the people who are producing the DVD any more free publicity. Thousands of pornos are produced every year and most become forgettable free downloads at thousands of websites. Many titles are parodies of familiar TV shows and movies since "familiarity breeds comfort" is one of the prime tenets of marketing. That and of course, "sex sells", which is redundant in this case. ;)

I prefer it if they did a Happy Days movie remake and a sequel with my scripts

I think that the TMZ promo will be more entertaining than the actual film. Regarding earlier posts about Garry Marshall, he's probably staying mum on the whole subject so he won't give the producers any free publicity. I never would have heard of this flick if it hadn't been for sites such as this one.
