Other parts of Alabama got more, but I live in North Alabama, close to Tennessee, and we didn't get as much here.

we're having summer weather in ct. it was mid-high 80's yesterday, will be again today and tomorrow. almost like a heat wave. i think we even broke a record yesterday for april temperatures.

i was glad for the sunny weather but it was uncomfortable because it was so humid and sticky, it felt more like july than april.

i had 2 fans going and covered myself in baby powder to soak up the moisture and keep from being sticky not to mention me and the husband ate a lot of ice cream sandwiches.

Terrible, The lows are in the teens and the highs are only in the 30s. The good thing about it we might get some snow later. It has been very cold and frigid right now in Fayetteville, GA.

It sucks now. Its been snowing all day, its cold, and the road are horrible. I am planning on going out of town Saturday, if this keeps up there go my plans :mad:

No joke, that is how it looked here last winter. We got over 100"+ of snowfall. Most of that hitting us in the guise of EXTREMELY EPIC blizzards. We got so much damn snow, there were dump trucks hauling away snow and dumping them off in designated locations. I think there were 3 locations, and all the snow filled them all. THEN we had flooding after that. GOOD TIMES. It was like 1997 all over again. You guys have us beat, though! Now THAT is serious business, as far as drifts go. We haven't had epic snow drifts like that here in about 16-17 years.

It was -33 degrees - ACTUAL temperature - when I got off work. It's now a balmy -29 degrees and is expected to go up to an even balmier 2 degrees later today. Am I freezing? Nope. :D

It's been very cold in Atlanta. We had some ice on the driveway. Right now, in Fayetteville, GA it's only 16 degrees outside as its low and the highs are only going to be in the 20's.

For a while, I've been drinking some hot chocolate to try to stay warm and have extra blankets on my bed at night.

Very nice here today. 75 degrees and I went for a bike ride... no jacket or sweater needed, just a thin T-shirt. :)

It's awful here. It's going to be in the 90's all week and I think it's supposed to be close to 100 a couple days. I finally turned the a/c on. I felt really sluggish yesterday. The heat was getting to me.

Record flooding (again!) here, with more forecast. Areas up north had up to eight (yes, EIGHT!) inches of rain within a few hours. Some people cannot return to their homes due to sinkholes being formed and many had to be rescued from high flood waters.

We've been on what feels like a month-long heatwave. Sticky, humid, horrible. The AC on our car is on the fritz. Right now, we're trying to decide if we want to spend the $500+ to get it fixed or buy a new car. It's paid for, and I hate taking on a new bill. The brakes just went on the car the other day, when my husband was in it. It was a miracle because it happened right near the mechanic's shop. I can't even think of what would have happened if he was on the highway or another busier road. Like Gilda Radner said, "It's always something!.

Same here. We just had a major ice storm. I walked outside today to get pictures and I discovered that the entire ground is a sheet of ice. The trees look pretty though lol.

It got up to around 90 today, that's a little too hot for the middle of May. But it just started to rain so maybe it will cool off a little bit.

Between 5 and 5:30 I went to the library and then the carryout near it. It started to rain heavily when I was in the library, and I had to wait ten minutes before the rain let up a little so I could walk home.

Well that wasn't much of a storm in my area... other than a lot of heavy wind, rain, and the power going off a couple of times there wasn't any real damage in my tow. However some people down in SEMO, around Elsinore, Missouri weren't so lucky, a few homes were destroyed by a small tornado. And there was reportedly 3.5-4.5 inch diameter hail in St. Louis.

I know what you mean, usually from the end of June to the middle of September, is generally a scorcher here too. So far, no 100 degree temps like you've had but I'm sure they're on the way. We had to buy our little beagle dog one of those flat storage boxes & fill it with water so he can lay in it to cool off. Before that he was standing in his big water dish. :lol:

Starting today it will be blazing hot. In the early to mid 90's until the end of next weekend. I like summer but enough of the heat already. :confused:

The high at Seatac Airport today was 62!!! Wrong... just so very wrong...

Here in Michigan it has been hot in the 90's for several days. We need rain badly! The forecast is in the 90's all this week. Hot weather makes me cranky. Thank goodness for air conditioning! I am SO ready for Fall!

It is so hot outside right now, 110 degrees, geez but hey, I rather suffer in the heat than in the cold!

It rained here yesterday afternoon, but it's HOT here as well.

The humidity yesterday fogged my camera's lens, making it hard for me to take pics of the sunset. I still got a few good ones:

Hot as Hell!

I wonder how people 200 years ago thrived in this weather wearing pantaloons, poofy shirts, and long underclothes?

I went outside to carry the trash cans down,I wasnt out there 2 minutes and I am drenched with sweat. There went that can of DR.PEPPER I had, right thru my shirt.

10.5 degrees C (50.9 degrees F) where I am right now... We've had a lot of pouring rain here this week... Thursday was pretty much pouring rain ALL day, and Friday was nearly a complete repeat of that...

I just got caught in a Rainstorm that passed by.
