ONE of the worse months in my entire life. I know that November is not even over, but the last few weeks, nothing but bad things have been happening to me.

FIRST. I found out that I might have crevical cancer.
SECOND Both my laptop and my desktop computers break. I have the desktop fixed, but once it arrived back home, the wiring to the keyboard was broken; hence, I need to go out and buy a new one.
THIRD My cell phone, falls out of my purse and literally, smashes into a million pieces on the ground.
FOURTH I have been sick off and on, with a terrible cold.
FIFTHI have been on a couple of the worse dates of my entire life. One time I drove all the way to Mission Viejo from where I live in San Diego (about 50 miles) and the bastard never showed up.
SIXTH Drove all the way to Fullerton, California to see a band, that I always wanted to see. First, Fullerton is an hour and a half away from my home and secondly, I had to wait in line to get into this club. Yes, I missed seeing the band.
SEVENTH. Today, I received one of the nastiest emails, ever. Some dude, over at this site saw my picture and told me that instead of looking my actual age, I looked 48, instead.
EIGHTH I saw the Halloween picture today of the party that I attended to. I looked, freaking horrible. Remind me never to pose in front of a camera, especially if I had more than one cocktail.

I'm sure you know that cervical cancer is one of the most curable cancers, when detected early. If they got it early, you'll be fine. I'll pray for a good outcome. I know four people that had cervical cancer, including my mother and my sister. Stage 1 and 2 are not usually a problem.

The guy who stood you up. His loss. Please be careful when meeting strangers. Sorry if I sound like your mother. Speaking of your mother, I think of her often when I see you on the boards. I hope she's doing well. I hope you feel good yourself soon. It sounds like you might have a bad allergy problem going on.

Things will settle down, Tara. You're just in a bad phase now. It will pass. You're strong.

Men tell me that I look in my late 20s all the time; then they have a conservation with me, then they realize that I am older, because of maturity and also the fact that I am articulate. I do not know what stage I am in. I find out on the 11th; if I do have a cancer, I am a tough bitch. I can handle it. Also, I am also very keen about meeting strangers. I know the rules, I have been on this planet long enough, to know better. I always meet these guys at a local place, like a bar or a restaurant, never at their homes, etc. AND NEVER at my house. That is never going to happen. I do not reveal a lot of personal information about me, except for my name. Also, when I am on a date, I always pay for my own drinks, etc. So, I will not lead them on, if I am not interested. And, I also take seperate cars. I know there is a lot of weirdos out there, especially in California...

Honey, you are probably more blessed than you realize; it is easy to become mad at God, because life is hard. But, sometimes, at your most difficult of times, is actually a blessing in disguise.

I was being facetious, in correlation about me having a rough time this month. I do not think God is mad at me, at all. He does test you, to see if you need to become stronger, and I accept that:)

Awww, I am flattered. That guy who told me I looked older, I just laughed. he never has seen me face to face, and is only judging on how I look by my pictures. NO BIG DEAL. I replied back and mentioned that his IQ was 48 not my age, then I blocked him.:lol:

If a guy can't handle a lady (and that's what you are) who does not act like they're still 17, that's THEIR problem, not yours! You sound to me like you have your head on straight and take no guff from people! I live in Chicago and there are probably just as many weirdos here as there are out in Cali - believe me - I've had my share of dating guys who are not of this planet! Just be thankful that you have good friends who've got your back 24/7 (like your friends on this board) and people you can turn to that you can trust and won't be judgmental of you. That's the most important thing.

I'm sorry you've had such a tough time lately Tara. :( I know it sometimes feels like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders when everything seems to be going wrong all at once, but please keep this in mind. A guy told me this awhile back, and I really took it to heart, and I hope it helps you a little too. He told me that the reason that all the bad things happen at once, is because it's God's way of having mercy on us. At first I was confused and didn't know what he meant, but then he explained it further, and it made sense. He said, what would you rather have, everything bad to happen at once, or for one bad thing to happen everyday for the rest of your life? Thinking of things that way really made sense to me. While these words probably don't help much right now in the midst of all this chaos, once you get through this, I'm sure you'll think back to this point in time and realize that damn, if I made it through that, I can truly make it through anything!! You are an incredibly strong person Tara, one of the strongest I've ever known, and I know if anyone can make it through, it's you!! :) I love you, and please know that you're in my heart, and prayers daily!!! :heart: :hug:
