View Full Version : Being bad mouthed on other websites
treky 11-15-2008, 11:57 PM Yep - that's all water under the bridge. She came clean and it got straightened out. And I admire her all the more for taking the time and investigating to find out she was used as a pawn. And I feel the same about Kelly actually from the parts I know of this.
That's the reason I'm still in the conversation here because I want everyone to see.
It IS awful funny that the one person who the spokes of this wheel all point to HASN'T been on. At least Kelly did come and discuss this.
right, Sarah.
littlebelle 11-15-2008, 11:57 PM Man that sh*ts f****d up. I can't believe Irene would do that, I thought she was really cool. My motto is, you wanna say it, say it to face. I'd rather have you say it too me now, then have me find out about it later.
Faith 11-15-2008, 11:58 PM Huh?
Haha nothing, i was just remembering all the people who were on the boards, before I got pregnant, had a kid, and got married...
Janice 11-15-2008, 11:58 PM But yet everyone is mad at me?????? I DIDNT DO ANYTHING!!! I swear! Omg I don't know what else I can do to get you to believe me! You have all been my friends, Sarah Allison Jude Tara Courtnee ALL OF YOU! Especially you Lauren. I can't even believe you. Jen I may have had a fight with you once or twice but I thought you'd also know I didn't do this!
I let my members talk about what they want when they want. I didn't judge them and I didn't stop them. I didn't do anything wrong!!!!! I've always disagreed with Brian and Janice and now they're trying to get everyone against me. That's fine but I am telling the truth!! He said he'd cause a war, make me sorry and now he is. He is trying to get even with me and by all of you hating me, he's winning, which really hurts. I am telling the truth and I don't know how many times I have to say it. If you don't believe me now I guess you never will. You will all realize I didn't do this. All I did was defend myself to Brian in e-mails. If I thought it was him for those names he was making, but it wasn't, then it was my mistake. No one even told me it could be Bobby F. I've never had any trouble with him that I recall so I don't know why he would do such a thing. However I just got through trouble with Brian.
That's all I can say I guess. Either you believe me or you don't.
Look at how upset you are because your name is being tossed about. Even before this thread, you were very upset because of Brian's signature, which unless a person knew there was a problem between you and him, it made no sense. So you're upset as can be. Yet, since the summer, there have been quite a few threads about SO on your site, which always turned into bashing me and Brian. This has been going on for four months. Imagine how Brian and I feel. When SO members, who are also members at your site, read those bashing posts, they most likely believe it all. This thread gives you a sense of how we've felt.
Tonight we're setting the record straight. Nobody ran Irene off of SO. She was getting too big for her britches here. She was a bully. Her behavior on SO this year had escalated, starting with the Mikado incident. She then created a wedge between me and Mike. I was hurt about that, and it was cruel of her to lie to him. I think she was bitter over her 3-day suspension, and that was her revenge. Irene's bullying of newbies got worse; yet she left when I told her to stop it. That's why Irene left. She keeps changing her reasons, but that's why she left.
Instead of simply leaving, Irene has to constantly criticize SO, its members, even TJ at one point. I think she wanted to return but wanted a thread begging her to return. I've never seen this before, where a member leaves but still rags on the place, months later. If I had a website, I wouldn't allow members to slam another site and its members. You allowed it. SO would never allow it before, but what's fair is fair. As long as you continue to allow members to slam SO, then get used to getting the same treatment in return.
Jude The Obscure 11-15-2008, 11:58 PM Jude, I am certainly not trying to tell you who to be friends with, BUT, beware of her. If she ever gets mad at you for something, even something you don't realize, WATCH OUT!!!
Thanks Brian, I will take that into consideration. I've e-mailed her and wonder if I will get any truth out of her. I was thinking of leaving SO seriously tonight because I just couldn't bear to see what was going on...it's very hard to think that months you've spent thinking as someone as a friend, may not be what they say they are.
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 11-16-2008, 12:02 AM SO would never allow it before, but what's fair is fair. As long as you continue to allow members to slam SO, then get used to getting the same treatment in return.
You're allowing it now! I already told you my board is open! Unless someone was fighting, anyone can say anything they want to. But this....is just wrong. I did nothing!
so elektrikkxx 11-16-2008, 12:02 AM Tonight we're setting the record straight. Nobody ran Irene off of SO. She was getting too big for her britches here.
I used to think Irene was really kind and sweet, and it really surprises me to see her in a totally different light. but after reading the thread where she was criticizing new posters, her behavior was atrocious.
dawsongirl 11-16-2008, 12:03 AM here it is real quick
Apparently I missed something good!
dawsongirl 11-16-2008, 12:04 AM Haha nothing, i was just remembering all the people who were on the boards, before I got pregnant, had a kid, and got married...
OHHH. Yeah, I just read some of that. I'm slow, but you know that. :D
dawsongirl 11-16-2008, 12:05 AM You know, I really shouldn't reply to this thread. It's all kind of tawdry (is that the right word?).
But, I left this forum a year or two or three ago because of Irene. She always seemed to start or egg on very tense situations. I can't even remember just what in particular she said to me to get me to leave, but I chose to take the higher ground and did simply that... leave. I came back once during that time, posted one reply, and immediately began being attacked by Irene and her cronies. My last post: I thanked them for reminding me why I left in the first place. And I left again.
I came back here a few weeks ago and saw that Irene was no longer here; I also saw the "I miss her" thread. Ugh! I simply never understood her popularity. When TJ closed the thread I was pleased.
I am now pleased to see that it wasn't simply a case of my being overly sensitive. I had been afraid that that had been the case. It's good to see that my judgment wasn't quite as bad as I was beginning to think it was. ;)
Welcome Back! I like having older members still around. :)
Wreckless 11-16-2008, 12:05 AM Talkin sh*t, people will pay....

Hollow 11-16-2008, 12:17 AM so uh, how were janice and brian allowed on kelly's board? did she approve their memberships before the ****-talking began or something? if someone has any posts saved, can they PM them to me just for the lulz? also, how did we find irene's real picture?
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 11-16-2008, 12:23 AM so uh, how were janice and brian allowed on kelly's board? did she approve their memberships before the ****-talking began or something? if someone has any posts saved, can they PM them to me just for the lulz? also, how did we find irene's real picture?
That's how all of this got started! They made fake names with fake e-mails, didn't post anything to see what was being said on my board..when I found out they were upset and they had names, I deleted them so not to further the anger but Brian was pissed. That's when the e-mails started and after the e-mails, the names he tried to register with. Or I thought that was him. It made sense it was.
Janice 11-16-2008, 12:29 AM You're allowing it now! I already told you my board is open! Unless someone was fighting, anyone can say anything they want to. But this....is just wrong. I did nothing!
You allowed it. So the same goes here, and that goes for signatures, avatars, etc. There's not much difference between this thread and some of the threads on your site. Members on your site make threads about SO, all pissed off. Brian made a thread about your site, all pissed off. Same thing. The days of us keeping quiet are over.
Dutabi84 11-16-2008, 12:33 AM I guess I can finally publicly state how much of a giant ****ing weirdo I always thought Irene was.
Wow, that was liberating.
And what a shock to hear /Bobby F./OU812/Senile 50-something cockbag played a part in it. He and Irene would make a beautiful couple.
I think it's ugliness like this that we've had in the past here that has kept me from posting and making e-buddies as much as I used to.
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 11-16-2008, 12:37 AM Well I guess I know how everyone feels about me. I'm just sorry you all are believing a lie. Just watch out, when they screw you over like this, hopefully people will believe you.
Normally I stay away from threads where there is a heavy "discussion" going on, but I must say this one is a whole lot of fun.
G'night folks!
;)

Faith 11-16-2008, 12:40 AM I think it chased away a lot of the e-buddies I had here. :(
Thats one of the reasons I left... not because of Irene, but someone else we both knew.. I have enough drama in my own life, I come online to get away from it all.
Janice 11-16-2008, 12:42 AM I used to think Irene was really kind and sweet, and it really surprises me to see her in a totally different light. but after reading the thread where she was criticizing new posters, her behavior was atrocious.
I've found that there are two sides to Irene. She can be very sweet, but get on her bad side and live to regret it, lol. The thing is, you can land on her bad side for no good reason. I don't know why she couldn't move on from SO, after she left. She wasn't banned or suspended. She just kept knocking the place, left and right. She should have just come back if it was on her mind so much.
That's where she seemed to be heading. We were e-mailing a few months ago, and she was being kind. I looked at Kelly's site that very day, and she was on a rampage against Brian, me, SO. I don't know why she went so crazy against him at Kelly's. It almost seemed like a breakdown of sorts. She was ranting and raving about his apology thread. Then she started in on his daughter's prayer thread. That was just too much. Brian has done nothing to Irene. They were friends when she left SO.

No, that's not what I meant. Zoneboy was saying that if it's okay to have a fruit in soup, then it must be okay to have a vegetable in cake. What I'm saying is just because it's okay to have tomato in soup, that doesn't necessarily mean it's okay to have carrot in cake.

Wreckless 11-16-2008, 02:59 AM hmmm am i supposed to see something
It's nothing subliminal or nothing lol. It's just funny, showing the top of a cake with the bride and the groom. In addition, the bride is dragging the groom around by his suit lol. Just kind of a ha-ha funny picture.
Dutabi84 11-16-2008, 02:59 AM Who said anything about cake? You said vegetables didn't belong in dessert period. You didn't specify cake, pie or otherwise. I was only implying that if certain veggies didn't belong in desserts then tomatoes didn't belong in soup.
Whoopsy, I'll blame the switching from "dessert" to "cake" on being tired.
Vegetables don't belong in cake, and in all likelihood don't belong in pie. Whatever belongs in soup, belongs in soup. I see no correlation.
Faith 11-16-2008, 02:59 AM I guess mincemeat pie is NOT amore?
Well not a good one.
Mr. Television 11-16-2008, 03:00 AM HA, I hear ya. I tried it once, too...YUCK. I think mincemeat pie is up there with fruitcake..two of the crappiest desserts:lol:

Mr. Television 11-16-2008, 03:06 AM Ha, earlier tonight I was on a date; and we went to this restuarant. AND, I was really tempted to try this dessert, that was a Creme Brulée Cheesecake; it sounded, delicious; but, they wanted, 7 bucks....forget it..
Yea cheesecake is so expensive. For 7 bucks, I want the whole cake.
Wreckless 11-16-2008, 03:07 AM I can't imagine eating pie that had meat in it. Some combinations just shouldn't exist, lol.
Ah, that would be nasty and totally gross lol.
Imagine this.
Hello, try our famous cheese steak cake, topped with a delicious kaiser roll icing. So hard, you can barely cut it!
LOL
Faith 11-16-2008, 03:08 AM Ha, never travel to the UK and try their infamous, Kidney pie, then...
Yeah, I agree; it is a rather, disgusting, combination:lol:
That just sounds horrible.
Wreckless 11-16-2008, 03:08 AM Meatball Cake....
Now that would top the list of HORRID, nasty and undelicious dessert combinations, with a food group perishable.....lol

A hard rock song in 1990 by Warrant called Cherry Pie
Wreckless 11-16-2008, 03:17 AM LOL this had me rollin for a min....
A pie joke I found on this site for jokes about food lol....
Little Johnny and his family lived in the country, and as a result seldom had guests. He was eager to help his mother after his father appeared with two dinner guests from the office.
When the dinner was nearly over, Little Johnny went to the kitchen and proudly carried in the first piece of apple pie, giving it to his father who passed it to a guest. Little Johnny came in with a second piece of pie and gave it to his father, who again gave it to a guest.
This was too much for Little Johnny, who said, "It's no use, Dad. The pieces are all the same size."

Wreckless 11-16-2008, 03:19 AM Another joke. Kinda funny, but more so a clever joke.
When the Liberty Bell was forged, the Philadelphia city council decided to celebrate the inauguration by having a pie baking competition.
There would be two categories. The best bell-shaped pie and the best overall pie. Competition was furious but all ended well as one of the winners was a popular senior nun from their local community who baked a superb vegetable dish. It had to be.
Everybody knows that Mother Teresa Wins No Bell Peas Pie.
Nighthawk76 11-16-2008, 03:21 AM And, a really CHEESY video, too...HA
Yeah, but it did have that hot looking model in it.

Nighthawk76 11-16-2008, 03:33 AM Are you planning on seeing them when they tour in 2009? Even though, there are rumors that Robert Plant is not going to be singing!
I'll only see them if Robert Plant is singing. Without him it isn't Led Zeppelin. It's like Axl Rose can take his new band on the road next year and call it Guns N' Roses, but without Slash, Izzy and Duff, it isn't GN'R.

Faith 11-16-2008, 03:38 AM Are you planning on seeing them when they tour in 2009? Even though, there are rumors that Robert Plant is not going to be singing!
I am planning on seeing them... I heard that Plant definitely wasn't gonna tour with them... but they said maybe Chris Cornell, Jack white, and Dave grohl, and a few other people might be the lead.
Nighthawk76 11-16-2008, 03:38 AM That is how I feel about seeing The Who and the Stones; even though, those are two of my favorite bands; it is just not the same without Entwistle on bass; and when Bill Wyman left the Stones in 1993. It would not be the same for me, without the original line-up.
The Stones were at their best when Mick Taylor was in the band. I think that was their best period.
Nighthawk76 11-16-2008, 03:40 AM I am planning on seeing them... I heard that Plant definitely wasn't gonna tour with them... but they said maybe Chris Cornell, Jack white, and Dave grohl, and a few other people might be the lead.
Dave Grohl!!!! He's a great drummer, but in my opinion at least, not a good singer.
Janice 11-16-2008, 03:41 AM Okay, back on topic, and yes, I'm serious. The topic is about being bad mouthed on other websites. :)
Here's how I see it. I value my friends a great deal, and I'm very loyal to them. If I was a member of another site, and members started talking bad about a friend of mine, I would tell them to stop or I would leave. I would do that in online life as well. Never, under any circumstances, would I sit idly by as a friend of mine was badmouthed.
Faith 11-16-2008, 03:42 AM Dave Grohl!!!! He's a great drummer, but in my opinion at least, not a good singer.

He's alright. Me and him are alright now, compared to before. We have rifts in the Sports Sec. but I try to keep it appropriate, so I don't get out of line. While I disagree with him a lot, on a number of things, at least I don't let things get to me :). That's cool if you guys are friends though.

Janice 11-16-2008, 03:56 AM I understand your position, Jaince. I truly believe that there was some misunderstandings going on here. It would be nice. My issue isn't really so much with Kelly. Just as I forgave Lauren quickly because of her youth. This isn't to say that young people don't have their own minds or are not intelligent; however, they often present a situation where an older person can talk advantage of their youth. Some young people can be impressionable.
I think Kelly needs to get out of Irene's emotional grip. She's not a good mentor, and isn't a good role model because she's a troublemaker. Until that happens, not much will change. I'm sure Kelly will re-open her site.
Nighthawk76 11-16-2008, 03:57 AM I tend not to judge anyone. I tend to see the good in everyone. I also give people the benefit of the doubt. I mean, I have made mistakes in the past. I am not perfect. But, I also do not pretend to like anyone, either. In all honesty, I truly like everyone on this site. I am sorry that you were being bashed. Personally, I never heard Irene say anything "nasty" about anyone. Never. The only thing I was told was the Mikey incident. And, if it was true, oh, well. Mikey, is still one of my favorite members of this board. A true gentleman, and also someone, whom I am very fond of and think highly of.
I like this post, Tara. I feel the same way. If someone is nice to me, I want to be their friend.

I fought like hell for Mikado over that incident. Can't say it was appreciated, but that's another story. You weren't around much at Kelly's, but I read plenty of bashing. Thread after thread. Titles like, The SO Thread. Post after post of bashing. Not just me, but other members here. I just don't understand because I don't bother anyone here. I'm sorry to say that when it comes to trouble, most roads lead back to Irene. She's clever enough to be discreet so she appears innocent, but it usually ends up with, "Irene told me XYZ...."
As for Kelly, she's been hanging with Irene so much that I fear she'll become like her. I hope not but she does start trouble, usually egged on by her friend.
Mr. Television 11-16-2008, 04:12 AM Janice, you also have to consider the source; you are in a very powerful position here at this board; hence, the reason, why you are going to be singled out and attacked.
I really don't know how Janice puts up with some of the things she does. I don't think I could do it. One reason I never want to be a moderator.

Janice 11-16-2008, 04:16 AM Exactly. The threads at Kelly's board were horrible. Esp. the SO Thread. It was like a free-for-all over there. Anything could be said, no limits. I read the posts in the threads. No one can tell me that the threads didn't exist because I know they did. Claiming that there weren't such threads doesn't mean there weren't. Calling people boneheads, a...., mfer's, etc. The language that was allowed was terrible.
Yes, we saw it with our own eyes. We had members here called racists and homophobes. There's the obligatory, "Janice is a biased moderator." I mean, I can't imagine spending my time at a message board, and just trashing another site.

Actually, the thread that Kelly claimed didn't exist was one from months ago that I asked her to remove. I don't think she was so much saying that the thread didn't exist in itself but that some of the things that were said in the thread didn't exist. The truth is very possible that she never even read some of the things posted, and therefor she probably didn't think they existed.

I doubt it. You fly under the radar. Your avatar is just so cute.
Nighthawk76 11-16-2008, 04:29 AM I probably have. Oh well, nothing I can do about it.
I doubt it, Cathy. You are too likable. Okay, I have to admit that in an PM I once said that you were gorgeous, I guess you will have to send you BF to beat me up.
Mr. Television 11-16-2008, 04:32 AM Thanks Tara and Sonny. :)
Another example is when I came across another site where I was being raked over the coals. It was nasty. Someone even called me the c word. I never did a single thing to this person, besides have a different political party. It was a group of maybe six former members here, but one was an active member here, and I thought was my friend. I didn't care about the others but that one stung.
That is just disgusting. Someone has to really have hate in their heart to call someone that. :ohno: Who was the friend Janice?
Hollow 11-16-2008, 04:33 AM Thanks Tara and Sonny. :)

i remember that board. i joined and didn't think it was nearly as bad as it was made out to be on here, but there were definitely some mean and unwarranted things said.

Mr. Television 11-16-2008, 04:41 AM You need to do it more often! I'm up every night until 1-2 at the earliest....

Nighthawk76 11-16-2008, 04:42 AM You need to do it more often! I'm up every night until 1-2 at the earliest....
Well, usually I have to be up at 6:30 in the morning to get ready for work. And I'm one of those people who needs a full eight hours of sleep.
Wreckless 11-16-2008, 04:43 AM I'm going to bed in a few minutes..otherwise I'll be too tired to watch the football games today. lol
Yeah definitely lol. You're in the Eastern Time like me, right? 3:40 am, just chillin LOL.
Can't wait for the games tomorrow night. Interested to see what the Dallas/Washington game will be like and what Dallas does, and if the Eagles can win lol.
I think your team is on the SNF game lol...dunno who's on MNF this week
Wreckless 11-16-2008, 04:44 AM Well, usually I have to be up at 6:30 in the morning to get ready for work. And I'm one of those people who needs a full eight hours of sleep.
I'm the same way. I actually need like 10-11 hours to not be overtired or tired, with my weird a$$ body lol. That sucks that you have to get up that early on a regular basis. I HATED doing that, for high school 4 years straight lol. Thank god I have a road block between that crap and working, in college haha.
Nighthawk76 11-16-2008, 04:45 AM I'm going to bed in a few minutes..otherwise I'll be too tired to watch the football games today. lol
A man your age shouldn't be up this late, Sonny. ;) Haven't heard a joke like that in a while, I bet.
Janice 11-16-2008, 04:46 AM That is just disgusting. Someone has to really have hate in their heart to call someone that. :ohno: Who was the friend Janice?
Irene. She didn't tear me up, but she was posting in the thread where I was called that word. The worst Irene said about me was that she thinks my husband wears a toupee. He most certainly does not, lol. He's got a great full head of hair. Others were joking that he looks like Robert Goulet. Real funny. That brings me around to my previous point that I would never sit idly by while a friend of mine was being torn up.
If I was on a discussion board, and the members started ripping you apart Sonny, or you Mike, Tara or Sarah, I would say, for example "Listen, Sarah's a good friend of mine. I can't listen to this. Either stop trashing her, or I'm leaving."

A GOOD friend like you would do that.
Janice 11-16-2008, 04:50 AM I'm going to bed in a few minutes..otherwise I'll be too tired to watch the football games today. lol
Me too. I have to be awake to serve Robert Goulet his sport snacks.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised it was Irene. I always thought she was a good friend but like alot of other people, I was wrong. :ohno: I would leave any board too Janice. I would just feel so uncomfortable being someplace where my friends were being trashed. It would make me angry too.
Janice 11-16-2008, 04:54 AM Janice, I remember a while ago, I think it was 2003; that you posted a picture of you and your husband. I am sorry, but, you two are a stunning couple.
And, what the hell is wrong with looking like, Robert Goulet??? He is handsome!
I know, but it wasn't posted that way. They were goofing on him. My husband is a doll. Tall, dark and handsome. Over six feet tall, broad shoulders, looks 15 years younger than he is. We're in our 25th year, and my heart still skips a beat when he walks through the door. He's just so handsome. Thanks for the compliment. Those photos are probably nine years old. Not much has changed. I'm thinner and blonde. He looks exactly the same.
Mr. Television 11-16-2008, 04:57 AM Well I think I'm going to bed. Goodnight Everybody. :bye:
Janice 11-16-2008, 04:58 AM I have been wondering about that. I don't thik I was posting on CC at that point. I don't remember ever seeing that picture. It's terrible that people were saying Lou had a toupee when he doesn't.
I didn't give a rat's ass about the other members, but Irene laughing along with them bothered me. We were friends. Like I'd ever let someone trash you Jenny. Never. In offline life too, I'm a maniac, I'm so loyal.
Janice 11-16-2008, 04:59 AM Well I think I'm going to bed. Goodnight Everybody. :bye:
Goodnight Sonny. Who are your Boys playing tomorrow?

The Deadskins..on Sunday night.
Janice 11-16-2008, 05:01 AM You two are truly blessed to have each other.
Yes, they were goofing on him, because he is handsome. And, they are miserable and single or in a loveless relationship, where the man does not want to marry them...
You're killing me here Tara. Send me an e-mail tomorrow, and I'll send you one back. ;)

he'll probably be having a fit since we're facing a horrible team lol...
oh well
Janice 11-16-2008, 05:06 AM You're a very good friend Janice. :)
Goodnight Sonny.
Way back, I was probably 23. My sister's boyfriend cheated on her with one of her best friends. I remember it was at night, getting out of the car, grabbing her by her long hair, pulling her to the ground....I'm very loyal, to the point of insanity.
Janice 11-16-2008, 05:07 AM I just sent you one:)
Great! I'll write tomorrow. :)
Wreckless 11-16-2008, 05:07 AM I should try and get some sleep, if that's possible. My eyes are tired from reading. Goodnight everyone. :)

lol thanks
I was just about to ask who the Pats play tomorrow lol...but then I remembered and was thrown off by the Thursday game
the Eagles game will be way over and decided before the Dallas game at 8 tomorrow night lol, so I'm interested to see what happens post wise in the sports board
Hollow 11-16-2008, 05:16 AM A GOOD friend like you would do that.
indeed. i didn't really speak up in that PIB forum when my friends were bashed (albeit nothing nearly as horrible as the stuff on kelly's site was said), but i was young and just regarded it all as different opinions. i've learned there is such thing as expressing an opinion in the wrong manner. courtesy for others' feelings should still weigh in.

SP, I know this is off-topic for a min but I saw your post in the Complaint department and I'm sorry that, that sh*t is still going on with your father. Remember I posted a thread about it, around a month/month and a half ago, dealing with the pressures and problems of my father? Well I just wanna say, courage is the ingrediant added to confidence.
Janice 11-16-2008, 05:22 AM It's all yours guys. Sleep tight.

You too. Night Janice.
PZelda 11-16-2008, 09:05 AM i agree about kelly. somehow this isn't enough to give me a low opinion of her. i think she got sucked into what irene started.
Also, she has to be aware of the fact that when she intends on being the admin of her own board, **** like this is likely to happen and she can get flamed for letting it happen.
Kelly, I know you said it's an open board and the members can do whatever they want... and that is exactly what they are doing. So you did open yourself up to this. Just saying.
Again, not mad or taking sides. I'm playing devil's advocate here, to an extent.
PZelda 11-16-2008, 09:10 AM I just think we should talk about something more positive, since this has been going on and on. Freedom of speech is cool, just trying to lighten up the thread, that's all.
Wreckless, this is Chit Chat. This is NOT Random. If you want lightheartedness, it ain't happenin' in this thread. Sure, you were successful with the pie talk, but don't try making it happen again.
I am quite appalled at the fact that there was, what, 15 pages of random pie talk IN THE MIDDLE OF A SRS BZNS THREAD.
Not trying to be a bossy sour puss or anything... but sheesh.
PZelda 11-16-2008, 09:15 AM Only a low life would call a woman, the "C" word!!!
...I call one of my former college teachers the "C" word. But she DESERVED it, because she was an unholy bitch to me and I never did anything to make her act like THAT towards me. Holy **** she was TERRIBLE. I actually mentioned this teacher in the "Terrible Teachers" thread that was around just about a month ago. I still stand by it, and it's been nearly 4 years since I was in her class. To me, for someone to be called that word, they have to EARN it and earn, that teacher did. "You'll never succeed in your major." Gee, thanks for boosting my self-esteem. I hope you get raped in the ass repeatedly with no lube.
TripperFan 11-16-2008, 11:37 AM I fought like hell for Mikado over that incident. Can't say it was appreciated, but that's another story. You weren't around much at Kelly's, but I read plenty of bashing. Thread after thread. Titles like, The SO Thread. Post after post of bashing. Not just me, but other members here. I just don't understand because I don't bother anyone here. I have to moderate here and there, but I don't look for trouble.
I remember clearly how you fought like hell - so did Sonny. I've got the emails to prove it.
That had to be the lowest point I can remember at SO. For a member to be accused of that without any proof just sickened me.
And coming from someone who was sexually abused, believe me, in this day and age, if something like that happened, it's VERY suspicious that someone would wait a year before saying anything. And to still be conversing happily on random threads with that person? I don't think so.
LOL - I woke up this morning and I dreamt about this whole thread last night. Only it all took place at any office or business of some sort. You think it would "loud" in here - you should have heard the shouting in my head during the dream!!! rofl
bandito 11-16-2008, 11:42 AM LOL - I woke up this morning and I dreamt about this whole thread last night. Only it all took place at any office or business of some sort. You think it would "loud" in here - you should have heard the shouting in my head during the dream!!! roflOMG that is so funny. Btw I love your avator.
TripperFan 11-16-2008, 11:51 AM I can see why since there were people feeding others information and starting shi*t from old sh*t.
Just proves that not everyone can just start their own board. I don't think people have any idea of how tough it would be to run a good/great forum like SO. That's why there's the rules there are and moderators who take so much sh*t from people.
You can't just start a board and allow everyone to go nuts on it, ripping up people from other boards. It just doesn't work.
In a sense I do feel badly for Kelly, but as Allison pointed out, she did bring all this on herself firstly with allowing herself to be caught up in Irene's plots and the Mikado fiasco. Those are the tough lessons of life though and sometimes the bully doesn't always win.
Oh - and btw - I'll take your mincemeat pies guys - it's delicious hot with french vanilla ice cream! YUM!!
(but my butterscotch pie recipe from my Scottish grandmother is the BEST)!
Faith 11-16-2008, 11:58 AM Thanks Tara and Sonny. :)

I have been called the C word in a chat room, and was never mean to the guy who did it. I had different political views than he did. I know how it feels. I don't know why people would say anything about Janice or Brian, they have always been nice.
TripperFan 11-16-2008, 12:29 PM OMG that is so funny. Btw I love your avator.

I was! We'd post all thru the night and around 3:30 - 4 am we'd be getting REALLY giddy with the silliest stuff. It was a riot. I'd actually sometimes fall asleep laughing to myself or with a smile on my face.

Yeah well, this thread should of been closed a long time ago. Sorry If you like to argue, rather then chit chat about whatever in here, if that's what you like. I liked the pie conversation, everybody wasn't arguing over the computer and their was no sillyness.
Point is, this should of closed a while ago..I'm not gonna say, oh I hate this thread, cause I still wanna be in it, but it's chat chat- so any topic can come up.
