I liked it!! :D InspectorExstead 10-10-2008, 04:51 PM i've had tempura ice cream at japanese restaurants. mmmm. it is very good. OH Nuts! 10-10-2008, 11:55 PM fried and ice cream is like 1+1=3 ( but ooooh, the calories!) Schmoopie 10-11-2008, 04:17 AM Ok, so if you fried it, wouldn't it melt? :rotflmao: I've heard of fried ice cream, but I don't think I've ever tried it! Andrea MrRetro_08 10-11-2008, 07:21 AM Sounds nasty OH Nuts! 10-11-2008, 08:58 AM Sounds nasty I wish I felt the same way you do; its because i don't that my blood sugar became elevated. If I eat wisely it may return to normal. But my instinct is to eat 2 ice cream cones. With french fries and mayo as a chaser. phoebe7165 10-11-2008, 11:37 AM Sounds nasty It's not nasty. It's just vanilla ice cream with a thick sweet shell around it. It really is very good. phoebe7165 10-11-2008, 11:39 AM Ok, so if you fried it, wouldn't it melt? I always wondered that. Maybe they just fry up the shell and put it over the ice cream. JoPol_wannabe 10-11-2008, 10:37 PM I have actually made it before twice in fact. It doesn't melt because what you do is you take your ice cream and you make them into balls and then you freeze them for an hour then you make the coding and dip the balls into it and freeze them for 3 hours till firm. Then you fry your ice cream for 15 seconds or till coding turns golden brown and then you return them to the freezer while you fry remaining ice cream balls The reason they don't melt is because there really frozen and you only fry them for like 15 seconds. There really not that hard to make just time consuming |
