I'd have to say "To Market, To Market" Seeing that desk flying through the air and the look on Henry's face...PRICELESS!!! :rofl:

yea, that was HILARIOUS :lol: Lauren! Henry standing there, watching the helicopter flying away with his desk-I never fail to crack up at that scene, no matter how many times I see it!
Also, there's a scene in this one that, when I saw it on DVD, I hadn't seen it in YEARS (ever since CBS used to show reruns of the show late at night in the late 70s). It's the scene where Frank sees Hawkeye & Trapper kneeling in front of the desk, and he asks them "What are you doing"? Hawkeye says "Morning prayers" and Frank says "Where's Father Mulcahey"? Hawkeye says "We decided to start without him".

I see that everyone's naming episodes from the first 3 seasons, just proves that we all agree those were the series best episodes! If only it stayed that way, and didn't become "The Alan Alda show".

Some of my favorite episodes of M*A*S*H are "As You Were", "There is Nothing Like a Nurse", "Deal Me Out", "Hey Doc" and "Soldier of the Month". The reason I chose "Hey Doc" is it had many funny lines and Frank flattening the camp with the tank. I think he should have received a stiff punishment for driving that tank w/o permission. I also like the part when Hawkeye and BJ were talking about the two bottles of scotch and said they were both only eight. What a crack-up! :lol:

Bananas, Crackers, and Nuts-I think this was an awesome episode. LOL!

[Trapper moves forward and slaps Hawkeye across the face]

Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce: I don't think I needed that.

Army Capt. 'Trapper John' McIntyre: Radar, take him back to the Swamp and make sure he takes the BLUE pills.

Cpl. Walter 'Radar' O'Reilly: Yes, sir.

Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce:Flithy liver thief!

I laugh everytime I watch that episode. LOL!

My favorites:

Tuttle- Henry's line at the end about the imaginary officer was priceless. :lol:

For Want of a Boot- I loved how everything came together for comedic effect.

Abyssinia, Henry- Classic comedy blended with the shocking ending.

Most if not all of my favorites come from seasons 1 - 3.

That being said, I'd have to nominate:
