View Full Version : Favorite Episode of M*A*S*H Scoobiedoo30 09-15-2008, 01:55 AM I was wondering what are yall favorite episodes of M*A*S*H Mines is Chief Surgeon Who treky 09-15-2008, 04:03 AM THE LONG JOHN FLAP, FOR WANT OF A BOOT, TO MARKET TO MARKET, THE TRIAL OF HENRY BLAKE. My leat favorite? That's easy-99.9% of GOODBYE, FAREWELL, & AMEN. TJL 09-15-2008, 10:08 AM Deal Me Out. Classic M*A*S*H. Scoobiedoo30 09-15-2008, 12:00 PM Deal Me Out is another one of my Favorites as well. LuLu Rogers 09-15-2008, 03:12 PM I'd have to say "To Market, To Market" Seeing that desk flying through the air and the look on Henry's face...PRICELESS!!! treky 09-15-2008, 04:12 PM yea, that was HILARIOUS  Lauren! Henry standing there, watching the helicopter flying away with his desk-I never fail to crack up at that scene, no matter how many times I see it! Also, there's a scene in this one that, when I saw it on DVD, I hadn't seen it in YEARS (ever since CBS used to show reruns of the show late at night in the late 70s). It's the scene where Frank sees Hawkeye & Trapper kneeling in front of the desk, and he asks them "What are you doing"? Hawkeye says "Morning prayers" and Frank says "Where's Father Mulcahey"? Hawkeye says "We decided to start without him". Scoobiedoo30 09-15-2008, 04:15 PM Dear Dad. LuLu Rogers 09-15-2008, 06:44 PM yea, that was HILARIOUS  Lauren! Scoobiedoo30 09-15-2008, 07:30 PM Harkeye is funnie on M*A*S*H Chocolate Moose 09-15-2008, 08:29 PM "Adam's Ribs". treky 09-16-2008, 02:11 AM I made this from that scene for an icon competition and won first place :) http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd279/trapandhawksbaby/My%20Icons/challenge71-3.png you did? Good for you! treky 09-16-2008, 02:16 AM I see that everyone's naming episodes from the first 3 seasons, just proves that we all agree those were the series best episodes! If only it stayed that way, and didn't become "The Alan Alda show". TJL 09-19-2008, 06:47 PM My favorite episode, Deal Me Out is on Hallmark right now! Me so happy. ;) LuLu Rogers 09-19-2008, 11:05 PM My favorite episode, Deal Me Out is on Hallmark right now! Me so happy. ;) Yay! :D OH Nuts! 09-21-2008, 11:22 AM Where to start???????? There were so many great ones! Scoobiedoo30 09-26-2008, 01:00 AM Adam's Ribs" ftroopfan 09-29-2008, 04:51 PM Some of my favorite episodes of M*A*S*H are "As You Were", "There is Nothing Like a Nurse", "Deal Me Out", "Hey Doc" and "Soldier of the Month". The reason I chose "Hey Doc" is it had many funny lines and Frank flattening the camp with the tank. I think he should have received a stiff punishment for driving that tank w/o permission. I also like the part when Hawkeye and BJ were talking about the two bottles of scotch and said they were both only eight. What a crack-up! SnickersFan 02-03-2009, 08:43 AM Bananas, Crackers, and Nuts-I think this was an awesome episode. LOL! Love this scene between Frank and Hawkeye. LOL! Maj. Frank Burns:What's this funny business? Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce: There's nothing funny to me, Frank. I happen to be very serious about this delicious piece of liver. Maj. Frank Burns: Where'd you get liver? They're serving hamburger. Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce: You can't have any. Maj. Frank Burns: Fine. But where did you get it? Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce: From the North Korean. Maj. Frank Burns: North Korean? What North Korean? Maj. Frank Burns: You mean the one that... Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce: That's right. The one that bit it. [Frank moves forward and moves the plate slightly to get a better look] Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce:You touched my plate! You're not sterile! You've ruined my liver! Ruined it! And we're all out of North Koreans! [Trapper moves forward and slaps Hawkeye across the face] Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce: I don't think I needed that. Army Capt. 'Trapper John' McIntyre: Radar, take him back to the Swamp and make sure he takes the BLUE pills. Cpl. Walter 'Radar' O'Reilly: Yes, sir. Capt. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce:Flithy liver thief! I laugh everytime I watch that episode. LOL! steevo 02-07-2009, 11:01 PM My favorites: Tuttle- Henry's line at the end about the imaginary officer was priceless. For Want of a Boot- I loved how everything came together for comedic effect. Abyssinia, Henry- Classic comedy blended with the shocking ending. Dog Tags 02-26-2009, 12:52 AM Most if not all of my favorites come from seasons 1 - 3. That being said, I'd have to nominate: " Divided We Stand" " 5 - O'clock Charlie " "Pvt. Charles Lamb" "Abyssinia, Henry" |
