(Captain Kate McCafferty is sitting down at her desk looking over cases when there's a knock on the door)

Kate: *looks up* Come in.

(Teddy Blumenthal walks in and then closes the door behind him)

Teddy: Hey Kate, Can I talk to you about Jinny?
Kate: *puts down the cases* Sure, talk away.

*Scene switches to outside Kate's office.*

(Magda Ramireze walks over to her best friend, Jinn Exsteads's, desk)

Magma: Hey, why is Teddy here?
Jinny: *looks in Kate's office @ Teddy. * I don't know.

*Back inside Kate's office*

Teddy: Well, do you think you can let Jinny take a week off from work.
Kate: When?
Teddy: Next week.
Kate: Why?
Teddy: Well, I wasn't planning on telling anyone this but....

*10 minuets later*

(Teddy walks out of Kate's office and shakes her hand. Jinny looks up from her desk)

Teddy: Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
Kate: No problem. I understand.

(Kate goes back into her office and shuts the door behind her. Teddy walks past Jinni's desk on his way out but Jinn tugs on his arm so he stops.)

Jinny: What was that about? Why'd you have to talk to Cap?
Teddy: Well..... It's a surprise.
Jinny: You gonna tell me?
Teddy: Nope. So, you gonna be around tonight..say around..9?
Jinny: Ya, you gonna come by?
Teddy: Yup. See you later. * He kisses Jinny quickly and then leaves.*
Jinny: Hey you gonna tell me the surprise? *she shouts after him, but he's already gone.*

Magda: *walks over to Jinny's desk* So..... *hoping to get some details out of JInny*
Jinny: So nothing! He has a secret but he won't tell me!
Magma: *smiles* How you gonna get it out of him?
Jinn: *smirks* I have my ways. He's coming over tonight.
Magma: Good luck.

(Both Magda and Jinny smile at each other and go back to work.)

Magda: What? But you've been writing something for the past 20 minuets, if it's not the case then what is it?
Jinny: A list.
Magda: A list of what?
Jinny: Reasons....Here look. (she hands the paper to Magda and she starts to read it.)

Jinny's Apartment:

(Jinny had been home for only a couple of minuets when there was a knock on her door)

Jinny: (says quietly) Oh no. (takes a big breath) OK, well here goes everything.

(Jinny opens the door and Teddy walks in. Jinny closes the door behind him.)

Teddy: Hey.
Jinny: (kind of nervous) Uh..hi.
Teddy: (can tell that something is wrong) You ok?
Jinny: Ummmm...ya. I guess so.
Teddy: OK, Good. I need to talk to you.
Jinny: Bout what?
Teddy: Well, it's kinda spur of the moment but I think that you and I should.....
Jinny: (jumps to conclusions and interrupts) OMG! YOU ARE GONNA BREAK UP WITH ME!! (starts to cry)
Teddy: (shocked) No, No, No, (hugs her)
Jinny: You're not?
Teddy: Whatever gave you that idea?
Jinny: I'm a negative thinking person. What can I say?
Teddy: Say yes!
Jinny: Yes. Wait, what am I saying yes to?
Teddy: To what I was thinking.
Jinny: What were you thinking?
Teddy: I was thinking....
Jinny: What?!?!
Teddy: Here. (pulls an envelope out of his pocket and hands it to Jinny)
Jinny: (opens envelope and takes out 2 tickets) Tickets? I don't understand.
Teddy: They are... Tickets to Hawaii. You and I, just the two of us, are gonna spend a week in Hawaii.
Jinny: When?
Teddy: We leave in 2 days.
Jinny: (stands up) I can't take a week off from work. I'm so busy and Cap. would never let me. (hands the tickets back to Teddy.)
Teddy: (hands the tickets back to Jinny.) Yes, you can. I already talked to Kate and she's letting you go.
Jinny: Really?
Teddy: Really!
Jinny: Are you sure?
Teddy: I'm sure!
Jinny: We're going to Hawaii?
Teddy: We're going to Hawaii!
Jinny: (squeals with delight) Ohhhh!
Teddy: Happy?
Jinny: ECSTATIC! Thank you!

(She hugs him then kisses him. Teddy returns the kiss.)

Jinny: As for my brother, ugh... yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight... and for me... a few weeks ago when uh... I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.

Teddy: Stop.

Jinny: Ya know what? THIS IS WHO I AM, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter... it doesn't change anything... Yeah, that's what I thought!

Magda: For the umpteenth time Jinny, No I have not been to Hawaii! (She is very annoyed because Jinny has asked her this several times already today.
Jinny: I wonder what it's gonna be like.

(Just then Kate walks by Jinny's desk on her way into her office)

Kate: Drop it Exstead! Get back to work, I know you're excited but you have to finish that case from yesterday. (with that she goes into her office and closes the door.)

Jinny: Is it just me or does she hate me?
Magda: It's just you.
Jinny: *raises an eyebrow* Really? You don't think that she hates me?
Magda: Nope, she doesn't hate you, she's just mad at you. Now you HAVE to finish that case. If you don't, then she'll hate you. (Magda smiles and sits down @ her desk. Jinny also smiles and tries to finish the case.)

After work @ Jinny's apartment:

(Teddy decided that since they have an early flight to catch the next morning that he should spend the night @ Jinny's.{ Of course, she doesn't mind} Jinny is packing and Teddy is sitting on the bed watching her.)

Teddy: You take forever to pack, don't you?
Jinny: Well, I'm packing a lot.
Teddy: But we're only gonna be gone for a week.
Jinny: So? Didn't you ever hear that girls ALWAYS take a long time to pack and the ALWAYS pack too much?
Teddy: Ya, but I didn't think that that applied to you.
Jinny: Ya well...HEY!

(Jinny picks up a pillow to throw @ him but he grabs it out of her hands and then he pulls her down on top of him.)

(Teddy kisses Jinny but she quickly breaks it off, picks up the pillow and hits him with it.)

Jinny: You're not getting out of it that easily! (She hits him again and then she starts to finish her packing.)
Teddy: You're no fun!
Jinny: Ya, I know. *smirks* But as soon as we get there I will be. Now let me finish packing. (She doesn't realize that she's already done.)
Teddy: But you're already done.
Jinny: Oh ya. Well anyways...are you hungry? Cuz I am. Do you wanna go out and grab a bite?
Teddy: Ya I'm hungry, but I'm hungry for you.

(He pulls her down on top of him again and kisses her deeply.)

Teddy: Get up! (he pulls the covers off of her, takes her hands in his and pulls her out of bed.)

Teddy: Good, now get ready we have 2 leave in a little bit cuz it takes a half an hour to get to the airport.
Jinny: (yawns) Ya, I know, I know. (heads into the bathroom)

(They start to walks towards the terminal.)

Jinny: Look at that! (she points outside then walks on onto the balcony.)
Teddy: (Walks on onto the balcony also.) WOW!

(They are standing on the balcony looking at the view. Their hotel is right on the beach and there is a beautiful sunset over the ocean.)

Jinny: Gorgeous.
Teddy: (puts his arms around Jinny from behind) Ya, just like you. (Kisses the top of her head.)
Jinny: (smiles.) You flatter me.
Teddy: Hey, I'm just speaking the truth.

(Jinny leans on Teddy and they both just stand there looking at the view.)

Jinny: Because I want to go out to breakfast!
Teddy: You Want to go out to breakfast? (he stresses the You want)
Jinny: Yup!
Teddy: Since when do you get your way?
Jinny: (leans in and gives Teddy a quick kiss) Since always. Now get up!
Teddy: Ok, Ok.

Jinny: Ya, ok you're right.... (looks at the beer and wine menu on the table.) Oh, Oh look. They have...
Teddy: (inturrupts) You are not having a beer at breakfast.

Teddy: No, Jin. No.
Jinny; Why?
Teddy: It's too early.
Jinny: No it's not. It's never too early for me!
Teddy: I don't find that hard to believe.

(Jinny had been taking a nap but now she is reading in bed and Teddy had dissapeared about an hour or so ago. But just then he comes into their hotel room and gaves Jinny a quick kiss.)

Jinny: Hi, where were you?
Teddy: I have a surprise for you!
Jinny: Uh oh another one! What is it?
Teddy: (smiles and takes her hand and pulls her out of bed) Come on......

(They leave their hotel room and walk out onto the beach. Teddy had made Jinny close her eyes so she couldn't see the surprise.)

Teddy: We're here.
Jinny: (opens eyes.) OMG! Teddy you didn't have to.

(In front of them is a picnic, some candels and a bottle of wine.)

Teddy: Surprise!
Jinny: (smiles) Thank you!

About a half an hour later:

(Jinny and Teddy had eaten and now they are walking hand-in-hand in the water, just up to their ankels, and Jinny splashes Teddy.)

Teddy: Hey!

(Jinny laughs and runs away and Teddy runs after her and catched up.)

Teddy: Come here! (He taked her arm and pulls her to him and kisses her.)

Teddy: (breakes off kiss) Can I ask you something?
Jinny: (sarcasticly) I dunno, can you?
Teddy" OK, MAY I ask you something?
Jinny: (smiles.) Yes. What?

Teddy: (gets down on one knee) Jinny, I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So, will you marry me? (He pulls the ring out of his pocket.)
Jinny: OMG! (Covers her mouth w/ her hands) Yes, (startes to cry.) Yes, I'll marry you.

(Teddy puts the ring on her finger and then jumps up, hugs her and then he kisses her again.)

Teddy: Jinny, I love you so much.
Jinny: I love you too!

Actually when I started writing which hasn't been that long ago I think and this is only my opinion but to me they are the easiest for me to write for. I enjoy writing about Jinny and Theodore. Some like Angela are hard to write for but with Jinny and Theodore scenes I have no problem writing them.
