It was 9am and all four Inspectors were at their desks. Fianlly Cap came out and gave them their assiments.
"Ok, Jinny and Mag, desk duity. Sort out all the files buy catagory. For example, Homiside, robbery, you get the picture" Cap said, as Jinny moaned and looked at Mag. "Delorenzo, Reid, suside case" Cap said, as she handed CD a folder. "13 year old girl, slit her writs last nite and now you get to find out why" Cap said, as CD looked at the ground.

::Flashback::

CD had a knife and was holding it at her wrists. She was also crying very heavily..

::End Flashback::

CD jumped a little and shook her head at the memory.
"Are you ok?" Angela asked, as all her co-workers stared at CD.
"Ya, lets go" CD said, as she grabbed her coat and the two left.....

When the two of them got out to the car Angela knew something was wrong with CD. Though she didn't want to force CD to talk about it she figured she'd ask.
"CD, why'd you jump and act kinda weird when Cap assigned us this case?"
"I'm fine, don't ask. This is my life...I don't have to tell you anything I don't want to tell you."
"Sorry. I just thought I'd ask."

Angela felt bad about asking CD. But she did want to know what was wrong. She wasn't going to force CD to tell her though. When they got to the girls house they went and knocked on the door.
"Hi, I'm Inspector DeLorenzo, this is my partner Inspector Reide. We're here to talk to you about your daughter."
"Yes, come in."

Back at the station, Magda and Jinny were sitting there looking at the files.
"Geez I hate this." Jinny told Magda.
"Oh shut up and do your job Jin." Magda told her.

Great!! Ok, now here's the rest i'll do for tonite....u can add some tonite too if u want, but i'll add more in the morning!

Jinny just shot Mag a look and continued going through the files.

CD and Angela walked into the house. It was nice and cozy and it seemed like a nice place to live.
"So ma'am, was you daughter acting weird before she..." Angela asked, as she looked at the lady. She got tears in her eye's and lead the Inspectors to her couch.
"Yes, actually." She started "Oh, by the way you can call me Mrs.King. Anyway, a couple of days ago she came home from school awfully mad. I kept asking her what was wrong, but she wouldn't take to me. And then last nite...." Mrs King broke down and started to cry. She looked down and put her head in her hands. CD moved over to her and started to rub her back. Angela was very taken by this. This wasn't CD's normal behavior......

K, I'll add this for tonight, and then I'll be on tomorrow.

CD continued to comfort her. Angela just wasn't used to seeing this, CD never did this, at least not very often. It wasn't her normal behavior. Now Angela knew that something was up. And she was determined to figure out what.

When Mrs. King finally calmed down CD stopped rubbing her back.
"Are there any teachers or friend's we could talk to about your daughter? Maybe find out why she was mad?" CD asked her.
"Well, maybe her teacher's at school who she saw every day, Probably Mr. Hoffman and Mrs. Colver. Then you could also talk to Mrs. Stemper and Mrs. McCallum. Those are the ones she's around the most." Mrs. King told them.
"Thank you Mrs. King." Angela told her as the two of them got up.

Mrs. King showed them to the door and they left. When they got in the car Angela looked at CD.
"What was that in there? I've never seen you rub someone's back because they started crying before." Angela looked at her.
"Maybe it's none of your business." Was all CD said.

Okay. We'll add more tomorrow.

Angela just shook her head, as they drove off to the school. When they got there, they went into the principles office.
"Hey, I'm Inspector Delorenzo, and this is my partner Inspector Reid. Where here to talk to the teachers of...." CD paused. She didn't know the girls first name. "A King. A girl with the last name King." CD said, as Angela looked at her.
"Oh, yes, Veronica King" (sorry, first name that came to mind)The secretary said as she looked at the Inspectors. "Most of her teachers would be on the next floor" She said, as she smiled and went back to typing. CD shrugged, and the two Inspectors went to the next floor.
"Excuse me, are you a teacher of Veronica King?" CD asked a lady she saw coming down the hall.
"Yes, I'm Mrs. Colver" The lady said "Can I help you? Did Veronica do something wrong?" she asked, very courious.
"Thats what we're here to find out..." Angela said, as the teacher led them to her class room....

Okay I've been passing out stupid flyers all night, my feet hurt and I sprained my ankle http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif. But I figure I can add on.

When they got to the room Mrs. Colver told them they could take a seat.
"So why do you want to talk to me about Veronica?" She asked the inspectors.
"Well, Veronica commit suicide yesterday, we need to find out why. Was she acting peculiar in any way?" Angela asked her.
"Oh my, I'm sorry to hear that." She told the two inspectors, "But I don't remember her acting any different than normal. I do remember that her grades were dropping though. I don't know why."
"Okay, well do you know was she mad or anything?" Angela asked her, trying to find out if she was telling them all of the story.
"Yes, that's it. Veronica was a very good student until about a month ago. Her grades slowly started decreasing, at least in my class. She wasn't concentrating as well as she was before." Mrs. Colver told them.
"Thanks Mrs. Colver. THat should be all for now." CD told her.

Angela and CD went out of the room. Angela still knew that something was up with CD. But again she didn't want to pust it.

Just as CD and Angela walked into the hall, they saw another teacher.
"Excuse me, were you a teacher of Victoria King?" Angela asked, as the man turned around.
"Yes, but what do you mean were? Are u firing me?" The man looked paniced.
"Uh, no Sir, Victoria killed herself and we were wondering if you could help us find out why?" CD said, as he studied the man. For some reason, the man's expersion didn't change. He didn't seem to be surprised.
"Oh, I'm sorry. But I'm Not surprised" The man said, as he lead them into his class room.
"Excuse me?" Angela asked
"Well, she had been acting weird the last couple of days. Her grades were dropping and she was never happy anymore" The man said, as he sat down at his desk.
"Do you know why?" CD asked, trying not to think of her past.
"Well, I have an idea......"

g Sry, I've been kinda busy the last couple a days. and two days ago I had a clinic appointment and got really sick after my chemo.

"Sir, may I ask why you think this happened?" CD asked him. She was still trying not to think about her past.
"Well I'm not positive, but I do think that her mother or father abused her. Everyday at school I saw several bruises on her. I could be wrong though. Maybe she just plays a lot of sports."
"Thank you sir." CD told him as she got up to leave the room. Angela got up and followed her but she didn't think that they were done. She thought they needed to ask a few more questions.

When they got in the hall CD was trying hard not to cry. Flashbacks of her past were in her head. She didn't want to remember this. She just wanted to forget.

Okay, I know that sucked, but I gotta go.

"Are you ok?" Angela asked, noticing there was something wrong with her friend.
"Huh, ya" CD assured her "I'm fine. Lets go talk to Mrs. King again!" She said, as she took a deep breath.

::Flashback::

16 year old CD studdied the knife carefully.
"I can't believe he would do that to me.." She said, crying hard. She sniffled a little, and started to run the knife across her wrist.

::End Flashback::

ok, i know that wasn't a lot, but i PROMISE after u write I'll write alot!

Awesome, I can only do a little bit, then I'll write a bunch tonight.

Angela looked at CD, she could tell that something was wrong she just wasn't telling her. "CD are you sure your okay? Because you aren't acting like yourself..." Angela looked at her waiting for a response. CD wasn't talking, she wasn't acting normal at all.
"I'm fine, okay. Why do you even care about why I'm acting different today anyway?" CD said getting very uptight. She knew she'd have to tell her someday.
"I don't know, maybe because I care about you and this is effecting our job." Angela was getting impatient with CD. She was sick of her not telling what was wrong.

The two of them got out to the car. They got in. At this point CD was fighting back tears. She didn't want to lie to her partner, but she didn't want to tell her about her past either.

"You know what!" Angela started to yell "I can't take this anymore! i am your partner, and something is bothering you!" CD just looked at her partner in shock. She knew Angela was brave, but brave enough to stand up to her....she didn't expect that. Finally CD broke down and started to cry.
"I'm sorry..." She started sadly. "When I was 16...I, I got raped, by my mothers boy friend. I didn't tell anyone....i just kept it inside of me. Finally one day I couldn't take it anymore and I...well, I tried to kill myself!"

::Flashback::

CD looked at her wrist, as it started to bleed. Finally she realized what she was doing, and threw the knife across the room. She started screaming and crying loudly...but no one came. Her mother was at work, and she was going to die....

::End Flashback::

CD jumped a little again, as she went over to sit on the curb.
"Oh my God...." Angela gasped. She didn't know what to say, so she just followed her friend, and sat next to her. Knowing her friend was in need of comfort, she hugged her. This was the closest the 2 had ever been, and again, CD was surprised.....

CD looked at Angela, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have dumped my feelings and past on you. I was kinda trying not to lead on that anything was wrong."
"CD, it's okay. I'm your partner I should know these things." Angela tried to comfort her, but knew that all she could say and all she could do wasn't enough to get the horrid memories out of CD's mind.

As the two of them got ready to talk to Mrs. King again Angela looked at CD.
"CD do you want to drop this case? Because if you do..."
"No Angela, I don't want to drop this case. I want to finish it. I drop it Cap will ask why and I don't plan on telling this to her anytime soon."
"Okay, sorry. I just didn't want you on this case if it would be bothering you. You're just not your usual self lately." Angela looked at her. She could tell through CD's eyes that she wanted someone to understand what she was going through.

Okay, you need to go, I may not add on for a week or so.
