In the division locker room at quitting time.
M: Hey, Jin! Want to come over for dinner? I wouldn't ask, except Ben begged me too. We're celebrating his straight A report card.
J: Thanks for asking and congratulations. But Teddy has a surprise for me, we're going out to dinner.
M: Wow! Wonder what it could be!?
J: Well, how about, I call you after our date and tell you!?
M: I'll wait up for that call.
J: How about I call by midnight.
M: Okay, talk to you then.
J: Bye.
They both leave.

*A really fancy restaurant
J: (picking at her food) So, why did you drag me to this place? (She smiled at Teddy)
T: Jinny, I'm old fashioned and want to do this right.
J: What are you talking about?
Teddy got down on one knee and Jinny gasped.
J: Oh… my…God.
T: Jinny?
J: Yes?!
T: Will you marry me?
J: Oh Teddy…YES, yes, yes!!!
He pulls out a ring and places it on her finger. It was a thin gold band, with a star shaped diamond on it. On each side of the star was a circular diamond, sitting on the band. Jinny started to cry and kneeled down to hug Teddy.
J: (whispers in his ear) Yes, thank you for asking.
T: (He holds her face in his hands and looks into her eyes) I'll make you as happy as you make me. Thank you for saying yes. (They laugh)
They stand up and sit down in their chairs.
T: I hope you like the ring, it was my grandmothers.
J: It's beautiful.
T: Hey, how about a walk?
J: Sure, I could stand a little fresh air.

*Walking along a dark street
Teddy looks over at Jinny and laughs
J: What's so funny?
They stop walking in front of an alleyway.
T: You've been smiling all night.
J: I can't help it, I'm so happy. I've never been this happy.
T: Jinny, I love you. I will try to keep you this happy, till the end of time.
Just then, 4 men with guns came out of the alley. Two of them grabbed Jinny and two of them grabbed Teddy. They both struggled a little, but couldn't get free. The two men pushed Teddy to knees. One of the other two men held Jinny, facing Teddy, as the other went to talk to Teddy.
(we'll call the man Z)
Z: Hello, Theodore. You probably don't remember me, but you put me away a couple of years ago. I'm out on bail, it took my 3 brothers here, two years to get my bail, but they got it.
T: What do you want?
Z: I want my 2 years of life back. I want you to fell the separation, the alone feeling, or the sadness? We want to take from you, the people you love, so you can feel those feelings. (He looks at Jinny)
T: Oh God, please don't hurt her. I'll give you anything you want…please, let her go. (tears fall down his cheeks)
J: Teddy (tears ran down her face, they both felt powerless) I love you.
Z: Shut up.
T: Leave her alone.
Teddy struggled to get free, but was unable to.
Z: (looks at Jinny's hand) What a beautiful ring. Did he give that to you as an engagement ring?
J: Yes.
Z: I could get a lot of money for that, give me it,
J: NO
Z: Then I'll take it.

Jinny struggled to keep the ring, but the man was surprisingly strong and she was unable to keep the ring. He tore it off her finger and put it in his pocket. Jinny burst into tears.
J: Give that back.
Z: Give what back? We'll be going now. If you follow us, we'll kill you. You haven't seen the last of us. This was just your warning.
The men ran away. Teddy and Jinny didn't dare follow them. They were still in shock. Jinny fell to her knees, crawled to Teddy, and held him.
T: Are you okay?
J: Yeah, I'm so sorry.
T: Why are you sorry.
J: I lost your ring.
T: (held her closer) It's okay, as long as you're okay. The ring doesn't matter, just you.
It was ten after midnight; Magda couldn't wait any longer. She had to know what Jin's surprise was.

Jinny's cell phone rang. She waited a couple of seconds, let go of Teddy, and answered the phone.
J: (sniffled) Hello?
M: Hey Jin, What's wrong?
J: Magda, there's been a crime, we need some cops at 868 and Hunter St.
M: (didn't hesitate, she knew it was an emergency) Sure thing, right away. Bye.
Jinny hung up her cell phone and turned to Teddy.
J: Helps on the way.
T: Good.

Jinny: As for my brother, ugh... yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight... and for me... a few weeks ago when uh... I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy: Stop.
Jinny: Ya know what? THIS IS WHO I AM, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter.

5 minutes later, cops were all over the scene looking for clues. Jinny and Teddy were talking to Captain and Magda.
M: Now Jinny, what's this all about?
Jinny told the whole story.
K: Man, what a way to end the night. Congrats on the engagement.
M: Yeah, we’ll get your ring back. Why don't you two go get some sleep.
K: Teddy, Look through your old cases tomorrow.
T: Thank you, I will.
Teddy and Jinny leave. When they get back to Jinny's apartment, the door is jammed. Jinny puts all her weight into the door and opens it. They enter the apartment, to find everything a mess.
J: OMG!
T: What the, I'll call 911
He ran into the kitchen. Jinny leans against the wall by the door and just stares in shock. She slides down the wall and starts to cry. Teddy finished the call in the kitchen. He walked around the corner and found Jinny in tears. He ran to her. He knelt down to the ground and hugged Jinny.
T: It's okay Jinny, we'll catch these guys.
J: (starts to calm down) Yeah, I know. But, what's ganna happen between now and that time?
T: I don't understand.
J: Darn it, they could kill you!
T: I'm not worried about that, I'm worried about you. If they try to hurt you, I don't know what I'd do.
J: I've never been happier in my life. You're the reason for that. I don't want to loose you.
T: Don't talk like that. We'll catch these guys.
Sirens are heard in the background.
J: I guess we should meet them outside.
T: Sure.
They go outside and meet two cop cars. They explain the story, then Jinny gets out her cell phone.
T: Who are you calling?
J: (Ignoring him) Hey Mag! Would you send a squad car to check out Teddy's apartment?
M: Sure thing Jinny. Why?
J: My apartments been broken into and I'm betting Teddy's was too.
M: Are you two alright?
J: Yeah. Just, tell whoever goes to be careful.
Teddy came behind Jinny and held her.
M: Do you two need a place to stay?
J: No, we don't want to put Ben or you in danger. We'll stay at Casey's or my dad's.
M: Okay, bye Jin, be careful.
J: Bye, we will. (Jinny hung up the phone and put it in her coat pocket)
T: Jin, should we call Casey before we go over? I mean, it is 1:15 in the morning.
J: Sure, we can call. (Takes out her phone)

Ring, ring, ring 5x, finally Casey wakes up and answers the phone.
C: (groggy) Hello? (He yawns)
J: Hi, Casey. Sorry to wake you, but Teddy and I need a place to stay.
C: You can stay over her. If you tell me what happened.
J: I'll tell you when we get there. Bye.
C: See ya soon.
They hang up the phones.

Later at Casey's place.
J: (Sitting at the table with a cup of coffee)…And that's when I called you.
C: Man, I'm sorry to hear that. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be safe here. Since, they don't know where you are.
T: Thanks for letting us stay here.
C: You can stay as long as you want.
J: We better get some sleep. We've got files to go through in the morning.
C: You two take the bed, I'll take the couch.
J: Thanks Casey. (They hug)
C: You'd do the same for me, goodnight.
T&J: Good-night.(they all go to where they're going to sleep)

In the bedroom Teddy's cell phone rings.
T: Hello?
M: Yeah, Teddy? Ask Jin to see if her phone's on. The captain and I have been calling.
T: (turns to Jinny) Hey, check to see if your phone is on.
J: (pulls out her phone to check it.) Darn, the batteries dead. The chargers at my place. Oh well.
T: (on the phone) Her batteries dead, what's up?
M: Well, we checked your place and it looks like someone has been there.
T: Darn it! (slams his hand on the bed)
J: (She sounds worried) Teddy, what's wrong?
T: My place is trashed too.
M: There were no prints found at either place. See you tomorrow.
T: Bye.
J: Did they find anything?
T: (walks to Jin) No, not yet. (They hug, then kiss)
J: Let's just go to bed, okay?
T: Sure.
They both laid in bed, bur neither of them slept a wink.

The next morning at the division
T: Well, that's the last box of files, now lets start looking.
M: What are we looking for?
J: A male with 3 brothers, option for bail, tried about 2 years go. Plaintiff in the case was the state.
M: This should be fun.
They all started looking through files. Jinny hadn't eaten since dinner last night and she was getting hungry.
J: I can't do this on an empty stomach. I'm ganna drive down the street to the coffee shop. Anybody want anything? (she stands up and puts on her jacket)
T: Sure hun, just get me what ever you get.
M: Coffee for me Jin.
J: Alright, I'll be back soon.
She leaves, gets in her car, and takes off down the street. She reaches a coffee shop and goes in. She orders the coffee and rolls. She pays, then goes back to her car. A grey van pulls up behind Jins car, but Jin doesn't notice it. She puts the food on top of the car and searches for her keys, finally she pulls them from her coat pocket. They slip from her hand and they fall to the ground.
J: Oh man!
She reaches down to get them. As she bends down, two men jump out of the van and grab Jinny from behind. She reached for her cell phone, but can't use it, the battery is dead. They put a rag over her mouth and she passes out. They get in the van and drive away.
15 minutes later
At the station
T: Where is she, Magda? She should be back by now.
M: I don't know Teddy, but I'm getting worried. I'll go look for her.
T: I'm coming with you.
M: I think it would be better for you to stay and go through the files.
T: Yeah, she's probably just stuck in line.
M: (A worried tone) Yeah, probably.
Magda drove down the street to the coffee shop. She parked and right away noticed Jin's car. She ran to it and examined the food and car keys that were left out in the open. So was the phone.
M: Oh man! (she ran into the coffee shop just to see if Jin was there. She looked everywhere, but couldn't find her.) JINNY, JINNY where are you? (she pulls out her cell phone and dials the division)
K: McCafferty!
M: Captain, Jin's gone, her cars still here. She just vanished.

K: Magda, slow down. Where are you?
M: The coffee shop down the street. (Magda was now outside by Jin's car.)
K: What happened?
M: Jinny went to get something to eat and never came back. So, I came to the coffee shop to check on her. I found her car with coffee and rolls on top and keys and a phone on the ground next to it.
K: I'll be right there. Where's Theodore at?
M: the office, checking files.
K: We'll tell him once we get back. This way, he can keep checking files.
M: See ya soon captain. (she hangs up the phone and goes back into the coffee shop. She starts to yell.) Excuse me! SFPD! Did anyone see a woman in a black leather jacket, green eyes, black hair. She ordered 3 coffees and some rolls.

An old lady stood up and the man working behind the counter came out to Magda.
M: Did you 2 see anything?
Old Woman: I saw her come in here.
Worker: She ordered some stuff and went out to her car. I'm sorry, I didn't see anything else. I went to get coffee for the next customer… but when I got back, I saw a grey van drive away really fast.
OW: I saw her ordering and then walked out the door. The big tree by the door was in my way, but I saw the grey van pull up and block her car. Then it pulled away really fast.
M: Did either of you get the license plate number?
OW&W: No.
M: Thank you, you've been a great help.
The captains car pulled into the lot. Magda ran out to meet her.
M: Hey! Thanks for coming.
K: Are you sure she's gone?
M: She was starving and the food is still on top of the car. Her keys are on the ground with her cell phone. I have 2 witnesses who saw a grey van block Jin's car and pull away in a hurry. Either, they didn't want coffee, or they did something to Jinny.
K: We've got a problem here.
W: (comes running from the shop,) I should let you know, the van was an 87 Chevy.
M: Are you sure?
W: Positive.
A cop car pulls into the parking lot.
K: (to the officers, while pointing to Jin's car) This is a crime scene. We need an APB out on a grey 87 Chevy van. Magda, we've got to get back to the station to see what Theodore has found.

At the station
Magda and the captain walk in. Teddy isn't looking through files anymore, he's holding one and staring into space. Magda walks up behind him.
M: Teddy, did you find anything?
T: Yeah! Where's Jin?
K: We need to talk.
T: What's wrong?
M: (she sits down) Teddy, Jin's missing.
T: What?
M: I went to the coffee shop and her car was still there. Her keys were on the ground and the food was still on top of the car. I talked to 2 people and they saw a grey van, it drove away wildly.
T: OMG! It was probably them.
K: Whose file's in your hand?
T: His name is Jake Zandor, I put him in jail.
M: What was he in for?
T: 5 rape cases.
M: OMG! Are you sure that's him?
T: Yeah, 3 brothers, 2 years of prison.
M: You're telling me Jin is out there with a mad rapist.
K: We don't know that.
M: Well, if that's not the story, then what is?
K: (takes a deep breath) You're right, there is no other explanation.
T: So, what do we do to find her?
K: I'll send a unit to the Zandor house to check it out. We've got the APB out on the van. There's nothing much we can do.

I know that sucked, but oh well. It'll get better in the next scene. I'll try to type more tonight. Please respond.

All of a sudden Teddy's cell phone rings. He answers it.
T: Hello?
J: (sounds weak) Teddy help
T: Jinny? Honey?
Z: Sorry, she couldn't talk long.
T: What do you want Zandor, you better not hurt her?!
Z: So, you figured out who I am. Good. Now, can you figure out what I'm going to do?
T: No, please, just leave her alone. I was only doing my job. I'm the one you want.
Z: You know my history and why I was put in jail, right?
T: Don't you touch her.
All Teddy hears is a dial tone. He feels tears coming to his eyes. He puts his head in his hands and starts to breath hard.
T: I feel so helpless.
M: What happened, what'd they say?
K: Is she alright? (sounds worried for the first time)
T: I don't know, she said, "Teddy help" and then Zandor came on the phone. He asked if I knew why he was put in jail.
M: (eyes wide, worried tone) OMG! You don't think he's going to…
K: Let's hope we get to them first. We've got to find her. Magda, you and I are going to the old address by ourselves. Let me get a warrant, then we'll go.
M: Right.
K: Teddy, I'll get a couple of inspectors in here to trace the call, if they call back.
T: Right, so I'll stay here and just (stands up, shouts, and throws the file) wait around while my fiancée is out there with those men.
M: Teddy, getting mad isn't going to help Jinny. Now, calm down. Come on Captain, we've got to go.
K: Right. (Magda and Kate leave.)
They pull up to the house where Jake Zandor lived. There was no sign of a van, or that anybody was home. They got out of the car and walked up to the old house.
M: Wow, seeing this nice house makes me wonder how a man with all of this could end up in jail. He had 3 loving brothers and a wonderful house, how could he do something like this?
K: Some people are just sick.
Magda knocks on the door. No one answers. They don't hear anything in the house, so they knock once more.
K: SFPD! Open up!
No one answers, they draw their guns and Magda tries to open the door. It's locked.
M: I'll go check the back.
K: Okay, if it's unlocked, you come and get me.
M: Got it.
Magda cautiously runs to the back of the house. The grass is up to her knees, she ran up the stairs to the porch. Then, she turned towards the yard to see if someone was hiding in the grass. She can't see anyone. She tries to open the door, but it's locked. She runs back to the front of the house.
M: Captain (the captain looks over to Magda) The back door's locked. The grass hasn't been cut forever. No ones here.
K: They're probably driving in the van somewhere.
Magda's cell phone rings.
M: (on her phone) Hello?
Z: Jinny gave us this number (Magda looks at the captain and whispers)
M:it's them. (on the phone) Where's Jinny, is she okay, you better not touch her.
Z: Get away from my house. That's private property.
M: How do you know where we are?
Z: I just do.
M: Can you see me?
Z: Let's just say I knew where you'd be looking.
M: Let me talk to Jinny.
All she hears is a dial tone.
M: Damn it.
K: (hangs up her cell phone. She pulled it out while Magda was on the phone) not long enough, I couldn't get a trace.
M: Well, we could spend an hour searching the house, or we could *69 the guy and see if a phone in the house rings.
K: Good idea.
Magda dials *69 on her phone, they hear nothing in the house. No one answers the phone. Magda hangs up.
M: Okay, we should get a team over here to watch the house.
K: Right. You drive, I'll set that up.
They start to drive away, a van slowly pulls out of the garage of the house next door to the old one. The van drives in the opposite way of Magda's car.

At the division
Magda and the captain walk in. Teddy was sitting with tears in his eyes. He was staring off into space. Magda came up behind him.
M: Teddy, what's on your mind?
T: I was just remembering how happy she was the night I proposed. She couldn't stop smiling. I told her I'd make her happy the rest of her life. Now, she's with those men. I don't think I'm living up to my promise.
M: This is not your fault.
T: Maybe, if I went for coffee with her. Did you find anything?
K: An old, empty, neglected house.
T: so, where does that leave us?
K: We'll have to check out the other family members houses. If that doesn't work, we'll send out squad cars all over the city.
M: Let's get rolling.
They went to the brothers' houses and found nothing.

The camera goes to a dark, empty room and shows Jinny in the middle of it tied to a chair. She was still groggy from the stuff they used to knock her out. Things were blurry and she was dizzy. Her hair was a mess and she ached all over, she looked down. Bruises, cuts, and scraps were all over her body. Her leather jacket sat in the corner of the room, her shoes were placed neatly by the door. She had no idea where she was, or if anyone was there. So, she just spoke.
J: Where am I? (the words were scratchy, because her throat was dry and it hurt to talk)
Z: (was sitting in a corner of the room, waiting for her to wake up.) It's a cozy little house, my parents use to own it. It's up for sale, but no one wants to buy it. So, since we brothers got the house in the will. We're using it for certain things.
J: What do you want?
Z: I want your boyfriend…
J: (interrupting) fiancée!
Z: …anyways. I want him to feel he has no power, loneliness, and fear he'll loose what he loves most.
J: Why? He's never done anything.
Z: He made me feel that way. Do you know what it is like to be in jail and have your fiancée leave you. To Theodore, I was just another file
J: What were you put in jail for?
Z: 5 cases of …(he stood up, walked behind Jinny's chair, and whisperes in her ear) rape. (he started to laugh at the word)
J: There's nothing funny about that.
Z: (slaps Jinny) I'll laugh at what I want to. (He yelled right in her face, then he left the room)
Jinny never liked admitting she was scared, but the tears just started rolling. She wanted to be in Teddy's arms, where she felt safe. She remembered how Teddy wasn't really nervous the night of the proposal, it was like he knew she would say yes. She started to remember what he said during the walk, about always keeping her happy. She gave a little smile through the tears. Then, she thought about how much she missed him and the smile faded. She could hear someone coming back. He stopped outside the door, unlocked it, and opened it. Mr. Zandor turned before he entered the door and shouted to his brothers.
Z: when I'm finished, you guys can do what ever you want with her.
He turned around and shut the door behind him. The camera shows the outside of a house in the middle of no where, you can hear Jinny scream.

The next morning
Teddy never went home, he was still sitting in the division, at Jinny's desk. He saw a picture of her and him during a picnic. He picked up the picture and started to cry. Just then Magda walked in. She saw Teddy crying, but didn't want to bother him. He had been through enough, without having to explain what he was feeling. When he was ready, he would talk. Just then, the captain walked out of her office.
K: Magda, I think I've got something.
M: What is it Captain (she went over to Kate)
K: the Zandor parents died a couple of years ago, guess who got the country house?
M: The kids!
K: That's right. And why don't the kids live in their own homes?
M: They're at the parents' house. What are we waiting for, let's go out there.
K: right!
T: I'm coming with you. Look, don't say no, I'll go in once the house is secure.
M: What could it hurt.
K: Alright, but you get body armor, just like us.
They all put on body armor and leave. They drive for twenty minutes until they reach the old house. Magda turns her head toward the back seat where Teddy was.
M: Remember, stay in here until we contact you on the radio, OKAY?
T: Got it, I promise.
K: Let's go.
Magda and Kate get out of the car and carefully approach the front door. They scream.
K: SFPD! Open the door please!
M: SFPD! Open the door now!
They wait a few seconds, Magda and Kate pull their guns out, and kick the door in. They check the closet by the front door, the dinning room, and the living room. Then, they check all five bedrooms. Magda goes through the kitchen and finds a locked door.
M: (yells) Captain, I've got a locked door.
K: (comes running into the room) Maybe there's a key somewhere.
M: Forget the key.
She raises her foot and kicks open the door. The room is pitch black. She searches the wall for a light switch and finds one. She turns it on and sees an empty chair sitting in the middle of the room with blood on it. The floor is all covered with blood and scattered around are somethings: Jinny's engagement ring, Jinny's jacket and shoes, a piece of paper, and shreds of clothing.
M: (In shock she whispers) oh my god.
K: Oh no, we're too late.
M: (into her walkie talkie) teddy?
T: Yeah, did you find her!
M: No, you shouldn't come in. You may not handle this well…Teddy…Teddy?
They hear the front door open and someone running through the house. Magda starts to close the door, but Teddy ran through Magda and Kate, right into the room.
T: No, No (he falls to his knees) No, where is she? Did you check the whole house?
M: Teddy, maybe we should go.
K: (walked over to the note) Hey, this says;
Theodore,
You know where we met, in the alley two nights ago? Well, if you come at midnight tonight, you can
Have what's left of your fiancée.

P.S.You probably won't come alone, so I won't mention it.
M: (walks over to pick up the ring) We need to get a forensic team over here. Here Teddy (she hands him the ring) they don't need this for evidence.
Magda didn't want to show Teddy she was worried and scared, but the ring set her off. Tears started rolling down her face.
M: My god! This is her blood (she looks around the room and realizes all the blood)
K: We (she starts to get emotional, a tear falls from her eye) better get out of here and call that forensics team.

Here's a little more

They all walk out of the house looking sad. The captain called the forensic team and gave them directions to the house. The car ride back was quiet. All you could hear was tears and sniffles. When they got back to the station, they went up into the office. It was around 1:00pm Teddy, Magda, and Kate started to make the plan for that night.
M: There are 4 of them, maybe we should call Casey, John, C.D., and Angela.
K: Oh my god, Jin's family doesn't know yet.
T: Let's just call Casey and he can tell the rest of the family.
M: I'll do that, I know them the best.
Magda pulls out her phone and calls Casey. She tells him the whole story and he runs over to the station.
C: Hi guys. (he's got a worried look on his face)
T: thanks for coming, is John coming?
C: Yeah, he'll be here later. Like four.
M: Alright. Captain, will you call C.D. and Angela?
K: I already did, while you were waiting for Casey to come.
CD and Angela came running into the room.
CD: OMG, has the forensic team called back yet?
K: No, it should be any minute now.
A: How could this happen? Our friend taken right under our noses.
T: These guys are professionals. We should get our plan for tonight ready.
K: Let's wait for John.
They all waited for a couple hours. During those hours, they paced and talked about loving Jinny. Finally, at 4:15pm, John came running in.
Jh: Lets get these bastards.
K: Thanks for coming John. Now, let's get this plan made for tonight. They want Teddy to meet them at midnight, at the alley where they first ran into each other. That was 868 Hunter St.
T: It was right outside of the alley, and the alley was a dead end. A fence is on the other side of the street.
M: so, if we put officers at each end of the street, we'll have them surrounded.
K: Good idea. We'll let them show themselves, then put the cars there. That way, they won't see it.
CD: we should have 2 officers in the alley and one up on a roof.
K: Sounds good. I'll get Chan and his partner to be the car blocks. CD and Angela, you guys hide in the alley. Magda, they're expecting cops, so you go with Teddy.
T&M: Okay.
K: John and Casey, it's a wide brick fence with a gate exiting near the alley. You two wait behind that gate. Everyone gets full body armor. There are four of them, so no one shoots until Jin is safe. I'll be up on the roof giving out orders. Now, let's get suited up and out, so we can get in position.
M: teddy and I will come at a later time, so it seems less obvious. Say 11:45
K: Alright, set your ear pieces to radio frequency 10.
T: I just want to say thank you everyone. Let's do this right for Jinny.
Everyone leaves to get body armor and walkie talkies. Then they get set up in the alley way.

Magda and Teddy arrive at the alleyway as an 87 Chevy, grey van pulls onto the street. Three men get out of the van, they all have masks on and guns. The leader gets out, he has no mask on. He has a gun in his right hand and pulls Jinny out with his left hand. She can barely stand, shes wearing boxer shorts and a mans t-shirt. She is covered in blood and her hair is a mess. She falls to her knees immediately, after she was pulled from the van. Her vision was blurry and her hands were tied behind her back. The leader picked her up by the arm and dragged her about 5 yards away from Magda and Teddy. Magda, could hardly breath at the sight of her friend, she wanted to cry. But knew she had to be strong for Jinny. Teddy also held back the tears, but knew once this was over they would come out.
Z: Hello Theodore. Feel helpless, alone, sad? Did you know my fiancée broke up with me, while I was in prison? I wanted you to know what it's like to have what you love most taken away from you. We came to give her back to you, but she'll never be the same. She'll always be scared of every man she sees.
J: (using all the energy she had to talk) only you 4
Jake Zandor punched her and she fell to her knees.
T: Stop it! Don't touch her.
Teddy ran at the men, Zandor pointed the gun to Jinny's head, Magda stopped teddy before he got too close.
M: How do you plan to get out of here? Cops are everywhere.
Z: I'm going to get back into the van, with Jinny. Then, we'll drive a couple of blocks. Next, I'll drop her off. Then, drive away. You'll come pick her up. While we drive away.
T: No, you leave her here!
Z: It's either my way, or no way.
He pushes the gun into Jinny's head and she screams in pain. Tears running down her face. CD, Angela, John, and Casey all step out. Guns held up and ready to shoot. The four men started to freak out.
M: There's no way out. Put the gun down (she pulls out her gun)
Zandor lifts his gun and points it at Teddy. He shoots and Teddy falls to the ground. The cops start to fire. The four men had been shot several times before the whole thing was over. Jinny, fell to the ground in pain, she hadn't been hit. She was safe now. Magda helped Teddy up, the bullet didn't go through the vest.
M: You okay?
T: Fine. (He runs over to Jinny)
He sees all of the blood and wants to hold her. He's afraid he'll hurt her, so he holds her hand. Magda holds her other hand. Teddy's got tears streaming down his face. John kicks the brick wall and starts screaming. An ambulance comes rushing in and they all go to the hospital.

Thanks for the sympathy. We had to put my rabbit to sleep cause she had cancer. But I'm better now. Sorry I haven't typed in a while, I've been really busy.

Jinny was rushed into a room and bandaged. Then the doctors examined her and asked her a few questions. Then, the male doctors left and a woman doctor asked Jinny some personal questions.
D: Ms. Exstead, did anything personal happen?
J: (started to cry) Yes.
D: I'm sorry to ask, but did he use protection?
J: There were 4 of them and…no. Where's Teddy? Where's Magda?
D: First, I need to give you a shot, to make sure you don't get pregnant. Then we need to test you for any STD's.
Ten minutes pass and the woman walks into the waiting room.
D: Teddy, Magda, she's asking to see you now. I must warn you, she's got a lot of bandages and bruises. Don't hug her too hard.
They walk into the room. Teddy and Magda start to cry.
D: I'll leave you 3 alone.
M: Thanks doctor.
They walked over to Jinny. Teddy held one hand and Magda held the other.
J: (tears in her eyes. She held her head low, Jinny couldn't look Teddy in the eye) Hey, how are you?
T: Jinny, are you kidding? How are you?
J: In pain, but they gave me something for it.
M: we were so worried. I'm glad you're okay Jin.
J: thanks.
T: Jinny, what's wrong?
J: nothing (she burst into tears, she couldn't lie to Teddy)
M: Jin, you can tell us. We won't tell anyone out there. (she points to the door)
J: Teddy, Magda…I…I…just want to go home.
T: Okay Jinny, I'll go get the doctor. (He runs out of the room and back in) Jinny, I'm sorry. They need to keep you two days for observation.
J: thanks anyway. (starting to calm down a little. She still doesn't look into their eyes)
M: Do you want to see everyone else?
J: sure
Magda leaves to find the doctor. Teddy kisses Jinny on the hand.
T: You look beautiful.
J: yeah right.
T: To me Jinny, you always look beautiful.
J: Thanks. Teddy, will you stay in here?
T: Sure.
*Magda with the doctor
M: How many visitors is she allowed.
D: 2-3
M: Thank you.
She runs back to Jinny's room.
M: Hey Jin, you can have 2-3 visitors. Who do you want to see first.
J: Um, Casey and John.
M: Okay.
She leaves to the waiting room.
Casey and John enter the room.
C: Hey Jinny. How are you?
J: Better, I'm not dizzy and my visions back.
JH: That's great! Does it hurt?(he points to all the bandages on her.)
J: It did. They gave me something for it.
C: Glad you're better Jin.
JH: Me too. We really got those bastards good.
J: Can I see CD and Angela now?
C: Sure.
They leave, CD and Angela enter
CD: Hi, I see you're looking better.
J: Looking better? Are you on drugs.
A: Well, you're alive aren't you?
J: I guess you're right.
CD: Get some rest. You look like you could use some.
A: Bye Jin!
T: Send Kate in.
CD: Will do.
They exit, enter Kate.
J: Hey Captain.
K: Hi! So, what's new?
J: Oh, nothing. I just won the lottery and a new car.
K: (she laughs) You sure scared me. Next time you get hungry, eat your tounge.
J: will do cap.
K: Hope you get better soon. You're a damn good cop.
J: Thanks. Send Magda back in.
K: Okay. Bye.
McCafferty leaves, Magda enters.
M: Hey Jin, I've got to go see Ben. I haven't seen him for 2 days.
J: Okay, bye. Oh Mag?
M: Yeah?
J: Thank you. For saving me. Thank everyone out there for me.
M: You're welcome and will do.
She leaves.
T: I see there's no empty bed in here. Where ever shall I sleep? I've got it.
He doesn't want to hurt Jinny, by sleeping with her. So, he goes over to the window sill and lays on it. He falls asleep. Everyone comes back to visit and Teddy still sleeps in the hospital. On the 2nd night, at 7:00, Jinny is sent home. Teddy helps her get to her apartment. When she got there, the place looked like new. All the people from the hospital were there to welcome her home. Jinny looked around and tears of joy filled her eyes. She still couldn't look any of them in the eye.
J: You guys didn't have to do this.
M: Yeah we did, cause we love you.
A: You've been through so much, you shouldn't have to clean.
T: Everyone will you please give me room.
(He kneels down next to Jinny and pulls out the ring) Jinny, will you except my proposal again?
J: Teddy…I

Jinny's eyes filled with tears and they rolled down her face.
J: I can't.
She ran into the bedroom. Teddy stood up and looked at everybody. Magda ran into the bedroom after Jinny. She finds her sitting in a corner, knees tucked up to her chest, crying. She slowly walks over to her and kneels down in front of her.
M: Jin, what's wrong. You turned him down, even after he used almost his last breath to find you?
J: I just want to be alone.
M: Jinny, I'm not going anywhere, something is wrong with you. You won't look any body in the eye. Like you're embarrassed, or ashamed. What's wrong?
J: Magda, I feel so empty inside. I'm scared, embarrassed, and ashamed.
M: Why?
J: You don't know what they did to me.
M: Then tell me Jin. Please.
J: The whole story, here goes: I woke up in a dark room, tied to a car. It had some light, but not a lot. This guy was sitting in the corner. He talked to me and then left. When he came back, he…raped me. (she started to cry and talk) Then, his brothers each came in, one at a time. They did the same thing. After that the first brother came in and started beating me, laughing with every hit. I barely had any clothes left on me, so he put those shorts and shirt on me. Then they knocked me out and I woke up in the van again. Then, we got out and you guys were there.
M: That's what he meant by never being the same and hating men. Oh Jin, I had no idea. (she hugged Jinny) Why did you turn Teddy down? He just wants to protect you, help you feel happy again.
J: That's just it, Mag. I feel empty inside. I can't even look him in the eye, without feeling I've failed him. I just, think he should know what he's getting attached too. If he still wants me. I may not even be here much longer.
M: What are you talking about?
J: I'm waiting for a STD test to come back and I'm scared.
M: Oh Jin, we'll get through that when it comes.
J: I'll tell Teddy, then if he still loves me I'll say yes.
Magda helps her up and they walk out to the living room. Everyone is waiting for them.
J: Teddy, can I see you for a minute?
T: (still shaken from her response) Sure. (he helps her back to the bedroom, since she's still in pain.)
They sit on the end of the bed and start to talk.
J: teddy, I'm sorry. I didn't say no for me, I said it for you.
T: What are you talking about?
J: Uh, Teddy. There's no easy way to say this, so I'll just say it. I was…raped.
T: What?
J: Let me start from the beginning.
Jinny told Teddy what she told Magda. By the end they were both crying.
T: Oh my god, Jinny! That's why you've been acting so different. You're ganna be fine.
J: I'm waiting for the STD test results.
T: Oh god! Well, when it comes (he holds her face in his hands and he kisses her forehead) I'll be there for you.
J: I just want to know, after all of that. Do you still love me?
T: Yes, of course I do. This whole thing is my fault. I want to know if you still love me?
J: Yeah. Teddy, it's not your fault. You didn't know they would do what they did.
T: so, will you marry me?
J: Yes.
They walk out into the living room and everyone looks at them.
M: so…
J: We're engaged.
Everyone hugs Jinny and Teddy and Teddy kisses Jinny. Later in the day, Jinny and Teddy are the only two in the apartment, when the phone rings.
J: Hello?
D: Jinny Exstead, this is your doctor, we have the results from the STD test.
J: Go on.
D: Ms. Exstead, your test came back negative. We will need you to come back in a week for a check-up.
J: Thank you doctor. Good bye.
She hung up the phone and turned to Teddy. He was staring at her with wide eyes.
T: Well, what'd they say?
J: negative (she smiled and they hugged and kissed)
They both cried a little, then just sat there holding each other. Oh, how Jinny loved how secure she felt. In Teddy's arms, she felt safe.
J: I wish we could stay here forever.
T: Me too, me too. I told you, I'd be here for you.
It was late and they fell asleep on the couch, just holding each other. Then at 7:00am Magda called. Teddy let go of Jinny and answered the phone.
T: Hello?
M: Hey, it's Magda. So, did she get the test results?
T: Yeah
M: and…
T: …negative!
M: Wonderful! I'll be over later, to say hi.
T: Okay, see you later, bye.
M: bye.
Teddy hung up the phone and noticed Jinny was still asleep. He sat down beside her and kissed her hand. She opened her eyes.
J: Hey!
T: Hi, sunshine. (he smiled at her)
J: I had a dream last night. They came back. I kept screaming, but when I opened my mouth, nothing came out.
T: (now holding her again) There dead Jinny, they'll never get to you, or me, again.
J: I know, but I'll never forget what they did to me. I'll never be the same.
T: I know. We'll get through this (a tear came out of both of them) Together.
J: Together!
They kissed, then the scene fades to black.
