Every Moment~ Surprisingly Enough
Series 1,Story 5.

**Division**
Jinny walks back into the Division. "Thanks for covering for me,Mag." she smiles and walks to her desk. "No Prob,Jinny." Magda glances at Jinny then back at her paper. She thinks for a second and looks back at Jinny. Who is still beaming,but trying to consentrate. C.D. and Angela looks at Jinny aswell. Magda gets up and walks over to Jinny's desk, "My my. You're sure happy,and I know it's not because I covered for you for 5 minutes. Spill it,Jin." Magda says. C.D. and Angela turn around to listen aswell. Jinny looks at the three and grins. "Come on Jinny." Angela reply's. "Yeah,We're all friends here." C.D. says waiting. Jinny smiles, "Fine Guys." Jinny smirks, " I'm engaged." she grins and looks down at her ring. "I'm assuming it's Theodore." Angela says giving Jinny a look. "You know the guy who "Wasn't Happening"." C.D. adds with a smirk.. Jinny laughs, "Yeah,That'd be the one." she grins. "Congratulations,Jin. I'm happy for you." Magda says with a big smile. Jinny nods with a smile. "Yeah so am I." Angela says sitting back down at her desk. C.D. nods, "Uh-huh,Wasn't happening." C.D. says with a laugh. "I wish you luck." she adds. "Thanks Guys." Jinny says. "Why don't we all go to Anchorside tonight and Celebrate?" Magda asks. "Sounds Good." C.D. says. "Yeah, I have alittle news myself." Angela adds. Magda gives Angela a look. "You can't be getting married." she laughs. Angela laughs,"No not quite." Captain walks out of her office. "Can there be alittle more Gossip and more work?" She asks. "You're invited too." Angela says looking at Cap. "What?" Cap asks confused. "We're all going out to celebrate Jinny's engagement tonight,Cap." Magda says. "Oh Okay." Cap says with a nod. "So who are you marrying,Jinny?" Cap asks. "Teddy Blumethal you know the guy I've been going out with for awhile now." Jinny says giving Cap a look. "Oh well then Congratulations!" Captain says walking to the Coffee Pot. The four Inspectors give a look between them and then look toward Cap.

Magda's phone rings, "Ramirez." she Answers. C.D. and Angela gets up from their desks, "Well,We better go let Mrs.Balbadero know we caught the guy who did this to her husband." C.D. says grabbing her coat from the hanger. "What time tonight,Jinny?" Angela asks while she puts on her coat. "After work." Jinny says. "Okay see you Later." Angela says walking out the door. "Bye Guys." C.D. says walking by Magda's desk. Magda waves, "Sure we'll be right down." Magda hangs up the phone. "What was that all about?" Jinny asks. "They found some evidence at the scene of the fire." Magda says getting up. "Great" Jinny says grabbing the case folder.

**Mrs. Balbadero's House**
Angela and C.D. walk down the hall lead by Mrs. Balbadero. "Please sit down." she says as they reach the Living Room. "Would you like anything to drink?" the woman asks. "No thanks." C.D. reply's in a low voice. "I'm okay." Angela adds as both Inspectors sit. The woman nods and sits aswell. "So um what did you find out about my Husband's murder?" she asks. "Mrs. Balbadero we caught your husbands murderer yesterday. He admitted killing your husband." C.D. says. The woman begins to cry, "Did he say why?" the Woman asks leaning over and grabbing a tissue from the box on her desk near the couch. "He didn't have a motive,Ma'am." Angela adds.

**Scene of the Fire**
The Two Inspectors walk over to the officers on the scene, "Whatcha got?" Jinny asks. "We found a gas can two buildings down in a alley way. Stranded." the officer fills her in. Magda asks, "Did it get taken in for finger prints?" "On it's way in now." he reply's. Jinny nods and walks off looking around at what used to be the Law Offices. She shakes her head, "Who would have done this?" Magda walks over, "Who and Why?" she asks in a low voice looking around.

**Back at the Station**
Jinny and Magda walk back into the Division. Captain walks out of her office ," Exstead Ramirez may I see you in my office?" Kate says walking back into her Office,Around her desk,and sits down. "May she?" Jinny asks sarcastically toward Magda. Magda smirks and walks to Captain's office with Jinny behind her. "Yes Captain?" Magda asks when she arrives in the office. Kate motions for Jinny to close the door. Jin turns around and closes it behind her and lean on the door frame still holding the Case Folder. Magda sits down. "I spoke to Allen O'Conner." Captain says. "Well?" Jinny asks. "Well it's definitely arson. We faxed the sketch over to him,and he said the man was in a few days ago. He rejected his case." Kate reply's. "Any particular Reason?" Magda asks sitting back in her chair. "It was a case that he felt he couldn't bring the proper defence to. So he turned it down." Kate reply's. "Which was the right thing to do. He have a name?" Jinny asks opening up the folder. Captain shakes her head, "Allen was going to check his files to see if he has the name anywhere. If not it was in the office." "Which is now nothing but ashes." Jinny says closing the folder and looking at Captain. "Maybe that was the point." Magda adds. "But why risk getting caught. When he could have just as easily stolen it?" Jinny reply's. "To get Even." Captain says taking off her glasses and looking at the two Woman. Jinny reaches up to her earring and turns it,thinking.

Just then Theodore walks in the door quietly.Magda looks over and Smiles at him. Jinny not knowing he was there. For she has her back turned toward him, "Anytime really." she reply's. Theodore walks over to her and puts his hand on her shoulder, "How about now?" he asks hanging up his phone. Jinny turns around with a grin on her face, "Yeah that could work." she says with a laugh looking at Theodore. C.D. looks over at Jinny and mouths,"Not Happening." then laughs quietly. Angela smirks. "Have fun you two." Magda says looking at them. "Thanks,Mag. I'll be back. Want me to pick you guys anything up?" Jinny asks. "Nah, Actually Angela is going to pick up Chinese." C.D. reply's looking at Angela who nods. "In a matter of Fact,I better get going." Angela reply's looking at her watch.

**Anchorside**
Theodore and Jinny are sitting across from eachother in a booth toward the back of the Bar & Grill. Jinny picks up the water in front of her and takes a sip. Theodore smiles and shakes his head. She looks at him,Squints her eyes and Smiles, "What?" she asks. "I uh just can't believe you said yes. " he says moving his glass in a circular motion. "Teddy, I said yes. It's done and over. I love you. We're going to have a great relationship,Together." She says with a laugh. Theodore smiles at her. The waitress walks over,"You ready to order?" she asks.

Angela walks back in with three white stirofoam food container. Puts one on Magda's desk, "Thanks Angela." Magda says looking up. "You're Welcome." Angela says walking to C.D.'s desk and putting one down on hers. "Thanks." C.D. says without looking up from what she is writing. Angela puts her food down on her desk and sits. She opens the container and begins to eat. C.D. looks up, "So uh what's your news you have to tell us?" she asks as she opens the contrainer and looks at her food. Magda picks up a peice of her food with her fingers,puts it in her mouth,"Yeah good Question,C.D." she reply's turning her chair around. Angela takes a bite of her food, "That's for me to know and you to find out, tonight." Angela says with a smirk.

The Elevator opens and Theodore and Jinny walks out into the hallway. "I'll see you later tonight?" Theodore asks. "I'm going to Anchorside tonight, You know with the girls." Jinny reply's. "Oh okay. You don't have to explain." Theodore smiles. "Okay, Well I uh better be going." Jinny says pointing behind her down the hall. "Yeah, Of Course. So should I." he reply's looking down at his watch. "Okay Bye Teddy." she says giving him a last hug. "Bye" he says letting go of her. He turns around and pushes the button on the elevator.

Angela asks. "With Theodore." C.D. adds. Jinny grins," It was great. Thank You." Magda smirks and looks at Jinny. "Jin,Allen called Captain back." Magda informs. Jinny turns around, "Ooh, Great, he have the guys name?" Magda nods, "Yeah we got a name alright." "So who is this dirt bag?" Jinny asks pushing her chair over to Magda's desk and sitting down. "Roger Gragged." Magda says. "Great. Have you run his name through the files yet?" "Yeah, Completely Clean." Magda reply's with a solumn voice. Jinny nods and folds her arms in front of her, "Hmm, so it's his first. Anything Wrong Mag? Ben okay?" Jinny asks trying to find what was wrong. Magda reply's, "Yeah Benjamin's fine." as she opens the case folder. "This is what is wrong." she adds taking out a photo of a man. "Mr. Roger Gragged." Jinny takes the picture from Magda of a African American man, "He's black." Jinny reply's looking to Magda. "Uh-huh, and our Suspect's white." Magda reply's. Jinny reply's, "Well lets make a little visit to the real Roger Gragged." Jinny says. Magda nods.

**Roger Gragged's House**
Jinny and Magda walk into the living room lead by Roger. "Please Sit down, Inspectors." Jin and Magda sit down. "So, What can I do for you ladies?" Roger asks as he sits down. "Mr. Gragged, have you seen this man before?" Jinny asks as she leans over and hands the man the sketch of the suspect. Roger takes the picture and looks at it, "No I can't say that I have." "Well we need you to be sure." Magda says. "Yeah,I'm sure. Why?" Roger asks. "The man in that picture,Our Suspect.He started a fire." Jinny explains. "Well Inspectors this is all very interesting,but I'm a busy man. How does this all concern me?" Roger asks getting alittle annoyed handing Magda the sketch without taking another look. "He's using your name,Sir." Magda reply's holding the picture. "Go Figure." Jinny says sarcastically. Magda glances at Jinny then to Roger. "How..Why'd he want to use my name?" the man asks. "That's what we're here to find out, Mr. Gragged." Jinny says. "Can I have another look at that drawing?" Roger asks. "Yeah sure." Magda says handing the sketch back to the man. He looks at it long and hard, "So he's using my name?" he asks. "Yes Sir. Do you know him?" Magda asks. "Have you even seen him? Come in contact with him? Anything." Jinny asks. The man yet again shakes his head, "No I'm sorry. I've never seen him before. I wish I could help." "You wish." Jinny reply's sarcastically. "So do we,Mr. Gragged. Thanks for your cooperation." Magda reply's.

C.D. and Angela are at their desks finishing up the paper work for the Balbadero case. Angela gets up from her desk, "I'll be right back,C.D." she says walking by C.D.'s desk. "Where ya goin'? C.D. asks. Angela reply's, "Restroom." C.D. nods and goes back working. Magda,Captain,and Jinny walk in. "So he had no idea that man was using his name?" Captain asks looking back at the Two Inspectors that are following her. "Not a clue." Magda reply's. "He claims he's never even had contact with him." Jinny adds. "You think he's telling the truth?" Captain asks as she walks into her office. "Don't Know." Jinny says with a slight shrug. "As far as we can tell he is." Magda adds. "We can't rule him out completely,though." Jinny says. Captain nods as she sits,puts her glasses on and looks through the case folder.

**Anchorside Later**
Captain and C.D. are sitting at a table with three vacant seats around them. "Wonder where the others are?" C.D. asks as she sips her beer. "Yeah it's not like Angela to be late." Captain reply's. C.D. shrugs, "She has some news to tell us. " she smirks. Captain sips her drink. Angela walks into Anchorside and looks around. Sees Cap and C.D. and walks over, "Hey. Sorry I'm late. I was in the car. Daniel called as I pulled into the parking lot." Angela says taking off her coat,hanging it on the back of her seat and sitting down. "Where's Jinny and Magda?" she asks. "Good Question." C.D. reply's. "Any sign of them outside?" Captain asks. Angela shakes her head and looks around.

Jinny and Magda come out of Magda's Apartment building. Jinny pulls her coat around her. "Thanks for letting me stop by and Tell Mom and Ben I won't be home until later." Magda says walking to Jinny's car. "No Problem,Mag. You know I like seeing Ben,You know that." Jinny reply's. She unlocks her car and both her and Magda gets in. Jinny puts the keys in and starts the car. Glances over and looks at the clock. "We better get to Anchorside. The others are probably waiting." Jinny says driving off. "Thanks again for letting me use the phone." Jinny says after several seconds of silence. Magda smiles,"You know you can use it anytime. You had to let Theodore know where you were. Don't want him to worry." Magda reply's with a slight smirk. "Yeah well you know,Teddy." Jinny says with a Grin.

**Anchorside**
Jinny and Magda walk in the door,and look around. Angela sees them, "Hey" she waves. Jin and Magda walk over, "Sorry we're late. Had to stop by my house." Magda says sitting down. A waitress walks over. "What would you all like?" she asks. "Aww,Just get me a Silver Patron and a beer." Jinny reply's. The waitress nods and looks at Magda, "Um,A beer.Please." Magda says looking at the waitress. She nods and walks off. "Well so Jin. You think you're ready for Married life?" C.D. laughs. Jinny looks over, "It'll be completely different. Won't it?" She says looking at C.D. "Well, If you mean sleeping with other people. Yeah I'd say so." C.D. says with a laugh. "Actually,Jinny, it's not bad. I mean you can do everything like you do. Just can't be "Friendly" with other men." Angela smirks. "Yeah well that's not a problem." Jinny reply's. The waitress comes back and sits there drinks down. "Thanks." Jinny says to the waitress. "Yeah." Magda says. Captain gives Jinny a look, "Not a Problem? For You?" she asks. "Nope." Jinny shakes her head and sips her Silver Patron. "Theodore. Is just....Different." she adds. Angela smirks. Jinny laughs," Not that way." she adds. "So Teddy's enough for you?" C.D. asks with a grin. "Oh Definitely Anyday." Jinny reply's with a smile. "Damn,Jin,He's that good.?" Magda says jokingly. Jinny grins, raises her eyebrows and takes a sip of her beer. Angela says, "That's a yes if I've ever seen it."

Captain sips her beer while waiting for Angela. "Come on. How bad can it be?" Jinny says lightheartedly as she downs the rest of her Silver Patron. Angela takes a deep breath but then stops as a she begins to cry. Jinny looks at Angela then around at the others, " I didn't mean it like that." she reply's. Angela puts her hand up, "I know." she says getting up and walking to the restroom still sobbing. C.D. looks at the others, "Something must be very wrong." she says. Captain adds, "And here I thought we were here to Celebrate." "Eh! We are here to Celebrate,My Engagement." she says taking another sips of her beer. "Yeah, I mean you only get married once." Magda reply's holding her beer. "I'll drink to that." Jinny says finishing off her beer and taking a breath, "I'll be right back." she says getting up and walking up to the bar. Captain shakes her head and look to Magda and C.D.. "You know, I'll be right back. Going to see how Angela is." C.D. says getting up and walking off. Captain nods and looks back over to where Jinny is,and watches her down another shot. "Theodore doesn't know what he's getting into with that girl." she says shaking her head. Magda looks behind her, "Yeah, Cap, Hopefully she will work it out. Somehow. Someday." she adds. Captain nods.

**Anchorside Restroom**
C.D. walks into the door and sees Angela, "Are you alright?" she asks. Angela looks over, "No C.D. I'm pregnant!!!" she says angryly. C.D. gives a look, "Ooh..." she shakes her head. "I'm sorry?" she Questions. Angela shakes her head, "No, It's not like that." she says trying to wipe the tears away. C.D. folds her arms, "Then why are you crying?" she asks. "There is a gene that runs in my family,C.D." Angela says. "What gene?" C.D. says shaking her head. "Breat Cancer. It runs in my family. My Mother and Grandmother died of it." she reply's. "I didn't know." C.D. says looking at Angela. Angela looks down then back to C.D., "Can I ask you a question?" "Yeah sure." C.D. reply's. "Why'd you. You know?" Angela says. C.D. unfolds her arms, "Honestly?" C.D. asks. "Yeah,that'd be nice." Angela says with a slight smile. "I did it when. I got interested in becoming a police officer,and-" C.D. stops for a moment. "And?" Angela asks. "And the first time I found out Paul was cheating on me. I mean what kind of a life would a kid have in my family?" C.D. shakes her head,turns around away from Angela and wipes a tear away from her eye. "So. You did want children?" she asks. "Let's drop it." C.D. says turning back around. "Sorry." Angela says as she takes a breath. "Okay, I'm ready." Angela says looking at C.D. "You sure?" she asks. "Yeah, I have to come to terms with this." Angela reply's as she walks to the restroom door.

I absolutely LOVE how you are writing Angela and C.D. It makes them seem so REAL! I can't wait to read more, please post more soon. This is the closest thing I have to the DIVISION until Sunday, so PLEASE update soon!

Angela and C.D. walks back to the table where Magda and Cap are sitting talking. "Where's Jinny?" Angela asks as she sits down. Magda points behind her. Angela looks over at Jinny sitting up at the bar sipping a beer. Jinny turns around and notices Angela is back so she gets up and walks over. "Hey." she says sitting back down at the table. "You know I really didn't mean-" Jinny begins. "No it wasn't you,Jinny." Angela reply's as she picks up her water from the Table. Jinny stops and shakes her head, "Then what's wrong?" she asks. Angela forces a smile and looks around at the Inspectors, "Guys, I'm pregnant." she manages to say without crying. "Ooh,Angela,Congratulations!" Magda says. "Yeah that's great." Captain says. Jinny smiles then looks confused. "but isn't that good news?" she asks then sips her Silver Patron. "Actually, It is. But then Again it isn't." Angela says looking at the others then to C.D. "What do you mean by that?" Captain asks. "Well not too many people know this,but breast cancer runs in my family. My Mother had it and so did my Grandmother. I don't want to give birth to my child,and if it is a girl run the risk of passing the gene down to her." Angela says as she puts her hand to her eye to wipe away a tear. Jinny sits their in silence not knowing what to say. "I'm sorry,Angela. I didn't mean to pressure you." Magda says realizing she may have pressured her to come forth. "It wasn't you,Magda. It's me. I am keeping it. Any other thought ever crossed my mind. I'm just worried for the baby is all. It took me awhile to actually come to grips with this whole situation." Angela comments. "I know. When I found out I was pregnant with Benjamin. I didn't know what to do. Here I was..my boyfriend had left me high and dry. I had no job. I wanted to do what was best for my son." Magda looks around, "So here I am. You'll get through it." Magda says reaching over and patting Angela on the back. "What does Daniel think of all this?" Captain asks. "Oh,he's over the moon." Angela says with a smile. "He's wanted a baby for quite some time. So this is a dream come true for him,and a world of worries for me." Angela says taking a sip of her water. "You'll get through." C.D. assures her partner. "We'll be here." Jinny reply's. "If you have any questions. Just call me. It wasn't too long ago I was pregnant myself." Magda says with a Smile. "Now I have a beautiful son." she grins. Captain nods, "Right, I may not have just had a baby 6 years ago,but I remember what I went through with Amanda." she says sipping her beer. "Thanks You guys. I appreciate it." Angela reply's with a smile. "So this is going to be a long 9 months,huh?" she asks sitting back in her chair. "Uh-huh." C.D. reply's. "With you eating all that weird food that I heard about on television." C.D. says jokingly. Magda laughs, "When I was pregnant with Ben I constantly craved Spaghetti and chocolate." Jinny gives Magda a look, "That's sick." she comments. "Well it doesn't sound too good now,but at the time it's all I wanted." she laughs and shrugs. Kate leans back in her chair , "That's nothing. When I was pregnant with Amanda I only wanted Fried Chicken and Roasted Marshmellows." she says making a face and taking another sip of her beer. "Interesting Combo,Cap." C.D. says with a grin. "Yeah tell me about it." Kate reply's with a laugh.

A couple hours have gone by and slowly the woman begin to leave. Angela looks down at her watch then to Jinny,Magda,and C.D. who are the only ones left besides her. "Daniel's going to worry. I better get home." she says standing up and tossing a couple bucks on the table. "Okay." C.D. reply's. "Drive Safely." Magda says. "Yeah. Bye" Jinny adds aswell. "Bye Guys. Thanks again." Angela says turning around and disappearing into the crowd. Magda shakes her head, "That's so great." she says with a smile. "Yeah" C.D. nods slightly and taking one last sip of her beer. "I better be going aswell. I have to be at work tomorrow morning by 6:00." C.D. says beginning to stand up. "Need a ride,Magda?" she asks as she puts on her coat. Magda looks over to Jinny who is taking another sip of her beer. "Jin,are you ready to go?" she asks. "Um,Not yet. I think I'll stick around here alittle longer." she reply's. "Are you sure? Because I can drive you home if you want." Magda says looking at Jinny. "No I'm fine." she reply's. "You better not drive home yourself,Jinny." Magda comments. "I won't. I won't." Jinny says sipping her beer again. "Get Theodore to come pick you up. Okay?" Magda asks. "Right." Jinny nods at Magda. "Okay , I'll see you tomorrow. Call me when you make it home,Jin" Magda says as she stands and throws some cash on the table. "Yeah see ya." she reply's Waving to C.D. and Magda as the leave Anchorside.

About a half hour passes as Jinny looks around the bar from her table which is now empty except for her now. A man walks over to her and asks, "May I get you a drink?" She looks at the man and smiles..Moving her ring finger that is wrapped around her beer bottle so he would see her ring. He notices her it and says, "So? It's just a drink." Jinny shakes her head, "If you only knew how many times I've heard that." "Is that a definite no then?" The man asks. "Yeah I think it's safe to say so. I'm engaged,Pal. Get a life." she reply's to the man. She sighs,gets up,and throws some money on the table to pay for her drinks. Grabs her coat and heads toward the door. She stops for a second and remembers what Magda had said about calling Theodore to take her home. Jinny stands there and thinks to herself. "I don't want to bother him. I'm sure he has better things to do then pick me up from a bar." so with that she pulls the door to Anchorside open and leaves.

**C.D.'s Car**
C.D. pulls down the street Magda lives on. "Maybe it wasn't the wisest thing leaving Jinny at the bar" C.D. says. "She'll be fine." Magda reply's. "You don't know the relationship Jinny and Theodore has. They're tight." Magda says making a fist and smiling. "She won't do anything to break that trust." she adds shaking her head. C.D. nods pulling infront of Magda's building. "Thanks for the ride." Mag says opening the car door. "No problem." C.D. says. Magda gets out,closes the door,and begins walking up the steps to her building. C.D. shifts her car into drive,and speeds off.

**Jinny's Building**
Jinny opens the door to her apartment building and walks inside and heads toward the elevator to go to the floor where her apartment is.
**Getting out of the elevator**
She begins down the hall toward her apartment. Turns the corner and realizes Theodore is sitting beside her door. Jinny stops for a second and looks at him. Without him noticing she's there. She turns back around and makes her way down the hall. As she arrives at the building door,again. She puts her hand on the door about to pull it open and leave. Instead she stops dead in her tracks and lets go of the door.
**Hall In front of her Apartment**
Jin turns the corner and begins down the hall toward Theodore. Not taking her eyes off of him for a second. She stumbles alittle but catches her balance again. As she approaches Theodore turns his head towards her. "You decided to come back?" he asks as he gets up. Jinny looks at him ,squints her eyes ,shakes her head,and says, "What?" not knowning what he meant. Theodore gets up from the floor and begins to proceed toward her. He points to where the hall turns, "Just a moment ago you-" he begins but gets interupted. Jinny nods, "Oh that." she says trying to keep her balance. "That was nothing." she shakes her head and starts to walk toward her apartment door. "So uh do you need anything?" she asks as she stops at her door and leans alittle on the door frame not wanting it to be too noticable. "No I just wanted to see if you got home alright." Theodore says taking a couple steps toward her. "I'm fine." she reply's moving her arms out quickly and dropping her keys. She goes to bend over to get the keys from the ground before Theodore had a chance to do it himself. To avoid getting close enough for him to realize she had been drinking. As she leans over she stumbles and almost falls. Theodore takes a quick step forward and grabs ahold of her not letting her fall. "Are you okay?" He asks as he helps Jinny stand back up. Theodore breathes in and smells the liquor on her breath. He doesn't say anything but leans over and grabs the keys from the ground and unlocks the front door to Jin's apartment. She stumbles inside.

I really like this story and I have missed it. You are a good writer and I enjoy all of your fan fiction. Keep up the good work and post more soon. Thanks for entertaining me and writing such great stories. I look forward to reading more of your stories.

**Couple Hours Later**
"Another cup?" Theodore asks from the kitchen. "No thanks." Jinny responds sitting on her couch quietly. What had happened was just beginning to sink in. Since she was getting more and more sober each minute. "He knows I was so drunk I could barely stand. More less drive,but I did." she thinks to her self. "How could I be so stupid?" she says in a low voice. Theodore walks back into the living room. "What was that?" he asks thinking she had said something to him. "Um nothing." Jinny says putting her hand to her forehead nervously. "Okay. Jinny,are you feeling any better?" Theodore asks. "Don't you mean. Am I sobering up?" Jinny shoots back before realizing what she had said. "Uh." Teddy says quietly and looks down. He looks back to her. "Actually, yes. That's exactly what I meant. Jinny, You scared me. I hated to see you like you were two hours ago. So.So.. Helpless. That isn't the Jinny I know. The Jinny I fell in love with." he Responds. Jinny goes from looking directly at him to breaking the eye contact and not saying a word. Theodore just stands in the middle of Jinny's living room in silence. After a few moments he sits down on the couch near Jinny. "I just can't stand seeing you like that,Jinny. Not when I care so much about you. It scares me." Jinny looks at him..She understands what he means by worrying,but she doesn't know what to do. So she does that only thing she thinks she does have a control over, "Theodore,maybe this whole relationship. Never the less this engagement wasn't meant to be. "she reply's to him. "No,Jinny,It's not the relationship..it's not the engagement that has to change. It's the drinking." he reply's quickly back. Jinny stands up,getting annoyed,and hurt. She doesn't want to show it,but emotion begins to show. "You know what? You think I enjoy the drinking. That somehow I could stop overnight?" she begins and wipes her tears away from her face. "Don't you think if I could I would have before? And you want to know something,Theodore?" she stops everything. "I tried. I tried when we first began dating. It just ...I can't." and walks to the door. "Thanks...but, maybe you should go. You wouldn't look back if you knew what was good for you." she adds as new tears begin to fall. Theodore gets up and walks over silently,and closes the door. "I'm not going anywhere. We're going to work through this drinking..... As rough or As long as it maybe. I'll be here for you. " he puts his arms around Jinny and holds her there in her living room.
