ok.. this is my second division fanfic...so tell me what you think (hint...you would have to read my first one to know whats happening..i think.)

Jinny took the day off from work..to get Jessy settled at a school.it's 3:00 pm, and Jessy comes in.
"How was..." Jinny started, as she walked out of the kitchen.
"Don't ask" Jessy inturrupted as she threw her backpack on the couch, and sat next to it.
"You didn't like it?" Jinny asked, not surprised.
"No! I want to go back to New York!" Jessy said as she watched Jinny take a gulp of her beer.
"Well you can't" Jinny said when she was done. "You'll get used to it...don't worry"
Jessy sighed and leaned back on the couch. She looked around for a second, then had a worried look on her face.
"Where's your TV?" She asked...very worried that Jinny didn't have one.
"It's in my bedroom" Jinny said as she had another big gulp of her beer. "Don't worry, I'll get one for in here, ok?"
"Ya..fine" Jessy said, now not worried about the tv, but about her sister. She watched Jinny finish the beer in two more gulps, and then go in the kitchen, and come out with another one. "What do you got to drink?" Jessy asked, as she got up and went to the fridge in the kitchen. She opened it to see the two bottom shelves filled with beer and alcohol drinks. The top self had milk, orange jucie, some fruit, some cheese, and 3 week old bologna.
"See anything good?" Jinny asked...knowing there was nothing.
"Is there a McDonalds or Burger King around here?" Jessy asked as she waled back to the living room...with a sick look on her face from the smell of the bologna.
"Ya, around the block...Do you need money?" Jinny asked as she took out her wallet.
"Nah..I have a few bucks." Jessy said as she grabbed her coat..which was leather. "I'll be back in a few minutes" And with that Jessy left, and Jinny sat..drinking her beer.

AWESOME!!! okay yeppers you might want to read her other one but if you don;t get it I'll try to explain it.

Jinny's grandparents live in NY and killed themselves. She finds out she has a little sister named Jessy. She finds out her grandparents were killed and that it was Jessy's boyfriend who did it. Jessy then came to live w/ Jinny.

well i was going (key word going) to see nsync and then there is another concert a few days later that im going to that has many artist performing(its from a radio station) but some of the people off the top of my head is barenaked ladies, O-town, aerosmith, even and jaron, dream, joey macIntyre, and like a lot of other people but i forget, there some other good bands-singers going but i forget them

I'm sorry you guys are having such bad days...so to cheer u up..i'll write more.

About five minutes later there was a knock at the door. Jinny finished off her 3rd beer, got up, and opened the door.
"Hi, Ms Exstead?" A lady asked as she pushed through Jinny and into the apartment.
"Ya, who are you and what do you want" Jinny asked as she shut the door and walked over to the lady. The lady waved her hand infront of her face...disgusted by the beer smell. Then she stuck out her hand.
"I'm Mrs.McCarthy from DSS" She said as both her and Jinny frowned.
"What?" Jinny asked...not liking what she heard. "Don't you people usually call before you come?" Jinny was annoyed...and ran around picking up the beer bottles that were around. The DSS lady saw her...and wrote something in her notebook she had. Jinny went in the kitchen to put the bottles away..and when she came back to the living room...the lady was gone.
"Oh god!" The lady said from inside Jinny's bedroom. Jinny ran in there to see her looking at her wine and beer bottles...and her two guns laying on the floor.
"I'm a cop" Jinny reassured her...so she wouldn't get worried about the guns.
"I see" the Dss lady said as she wrote more in her little notebook. Then she walked back out the the living room...and into the kitchen. Jinny followed her close behind. She opened the fridge and gasped.
"I havent been shopping latly" Jinny said...getting worried. "What do you want?" The DSS lady just made notes...and after five minutes...spole up.
"Where is she?" The lady asked...staring at Jinny...who was partly drunk. Jinny looked at the woman.
"Huh?" Jinny asked not knowing who she was talking about.
"The girl...your sister." The lady said with disgust. Jinny laughed a drunk kind of laugh...but then looked serious.
"Oh..ya..she went to McDonalds" Jinny answered..then giggled a little.
"I wonder why" The dss lady mumbled as she walked to the door. "WEll..you can count on hearing from us" She said as she opened the door...but when she started to leave..she walked into Jessy.
"Watch it!" Jessy said meanly...as she bent over to pick up the McDonalds bag she dropped.
"You must be Jessy" The lady asked as she fixed her eyes on her.
"Ya..and you are?" Jessy asked as she stood up.
"Mrs McCArthey. I'm with DSS" she said very proudly.
"Wonderful" Jessy said sarcastically...with a unhappy smirk. She pushed her way past the lady...and went and layed on the couch. the dss lady looked at her for a second.
"Where do you sleep?" she asked as she turned and went back into the apartment.
"Oh god!" Jinny mumbled queitly to herslef.
"Right here" Jessy said as she sat up and patted the couch.
"hmmmm" The lady said as she wrote something else down and walked over to the door. "You'll be hearinf from foster care" She said as she turned around and left. Jinny and Jessy looked silently at another.

"What?" Jessy asked madly. Jinny sat on the couch with a "what the hell" look on her face. Jessy leaned over to her and smelled her breath. "Damn you!" she said as she backed away from the smell.
"What?" Jinny asked..like she had no clue.
"Your frigin' drunk!!" Jessy yelled as she jumped up from the couch.
"Now wait a damn minute" Jinny started as she jumped off the couch too. "I...." Then she stopped...she cupped her hands and smelled her breath. She looked a Jessy sadly..."I'm sorry" She sat down on the couch...and looked down.
"Jinny..." Jessy said as she sat next to her sister. "I didn't mean it like that..."
"No...your right. I...I...I.." Jinny tried to say it but she couldnt'
"You want?" Jessy asked...very concered.
"I..I agree with Mrs McCarthy" Jinny finally said as she looked up at Jessy.
"Who?" Jessy asked
"The DSS lady...i think you should go into a foster home" Jinny said as she got up and looked down at Jessy. Jessy just looked madly at Jinny. She got up, picked up her McDonalds bag...and ran out of the aparmtent, slaming the door behind her.
"Good move Jinny. Good move" Jinny said sadly to her self as she ran out of the apartment after Jessy.

Jinny ran down the stairs..worried she wouldnt be able to find Jessy. If Jessy was anything like her..which she was...she would be long gone. But when she got to the enterance of her building, she was surprised to see Jessy sitting on the front stairs. Jinny went and sat next to Jessy. Jessy seemed to be staring at something..so Jinny looked. It was two sisters. They were talking and laughing with eachother. Jessy looked sad.
"Look at them" Jessy said as she tilted her head..still looking at the sisters. "They're so happy, and they get along with each other. They dont drink or send the other one away" Jessy finally looked At Jinny. Jinny was still looking at the two sisters.
"I have a problem" Jinny said..still staring at the girls. "A drinking problem" Jinny added as she finally looked at Jessy. "I'm not resbonsable, and i cant even take care off my self...let alone you" Jinny looked down
"Hey!" Jessy snapped "I'm not a little kid, I can take care of myself!"
"I dont care...i would feel better if I knew you were alive" Jinny snapped back
"Ya...well I'd feel better if i knew you werent drunk!" Jessy yelled and she got up and stomped up the stairs. Jinny just sat there and continued to watch the sisters.

hey guys...i'm gald u like my story so much...i'm gonna add a little more now..and here and there cuz i broke my thumb! So i cant exactly type very good! Well here's some more!

The next day Jessy was sitting at a desk in school when the intercome came on
"Would Jessica Exstead please come to the office" It said very funny. Jessy looked puzzled, but got up and went to the office.
"Ya?" She said as she walked in. Mrs. McCarthy was there with a man and woman. They started to walk over to Jessy.
"Hi Jessy, these are your foster parents for now...." Mrs McCathy started, but was inturpeted by Jessy's running. Jessy ran down the hall, out the door, and down the street.
"Hey..." the Prinicple said "Someone call the police"
"No need to" Mrs McCarthy answered with a smirk "Thats where she's going" They walked out and got into the car. Jessy ran all the way to the station non-stop. She walked into the Division and ran to Jinny's desk.
"Jinny?" Jessy questioned seeing that her sister wasn't there
"Hey..Jessy" Magdna said as she got up from her desk and walked over to Jessy.
"Where's Jinny? Where's my sister!" Jessy yelled as she looked around and saw Jinny walk in yawning. Jinny stopped yawing and looked up to see Jessy.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Jinny asked madly as she walked over to her.
"Mrs McCarth brought foster people to my school and..." Jessy was interupted by Mrs McCarthy's Entence with the couple.
"Ms Exstead" Mrs McCarthy said as she walked over to Jinny and Jessy with the couple. "This is Mr and Mrs Cluster. They are going to be Jessy's foster parents"
"No they aint! I live with Jinny! Right Jin" Jessy said with a smirk. but her smirk quickly faded when Jinny didn't answer. Jessy looked up at Jinny, who was looking sadly at Jessy. "Right?" Jessy said sadly. Jinny just shook her head.
"You have to go with them" She said as a tear fell down her cheak.
"What?" Jessy said with a look of betral (sp).
"Take her" Jinny said as she sadly sat down at her desk.
"Come on dear" Mrs Cluster said.
"No! I'm not going! I live with Jinny! She's my sister!" Jessy screamed. Jinny nodded to two cops standing by, and they grabbed Jessy by the arms and started to drag her out.
"No! Let my go you Bastards!" She yelled as she started to cry and reached out for her sister, who was just staring at them.
"No! NO!" Jessy yelled as they were finally able to get her out of the Division. When Jessy was gone, Jinny looked up to see everyone in the Division staring at her. Including the Captain.
"Exsted" Captain said quietly as she motioned for Jinny to join her in her office. Jinny got up, and walked in the office...slaming the door behind her.
"Listen..I'm sorry Captian but she...." Jinny stared but Captian inturped her
"Hey, hey, it's ok. That was the most muture thing I have ever seen you do!" she said as she walked up to Jinny. Jinny sighed and started to cry, and the captian hugged her. "shhhhh it's ok...it'll be ok"

Jinny finally stopped crying and backed away from the Captian. The captian had a look of simpathy in her eyes, and Jinny got scared. She had never seen the Captain like this except when Jessy saved Amanda.
"I'm gonna...I'm gonna go" Jinny said as she wipped her face, and walked back to her desk.
"Hey, Jin, that lady came back and said u have a court date tomorrow, and left the address where Jessy is...." Magda started but was inturupted by Jinny's grabbing the address of mag's desk, and grabbing magda.
"What..where are we going" Magda said as Jinny dragged her outside. Jinny didnt answer. She just showed Magda the address. "Oh" Jinny let go of magda and they got into the car.
"I'm sorry for grabbing you like that. I'm just not used to this..you know" Jinny said as she started the car, looked at the address, then flung it on the ground.
"Ya i know.." Magda said as she looked strangly at Jinny "You might need that" She finally said...talking about the address.
"No...i got it up here" Jinny answered, pointing at her head. "And down here" She said as she moved her hand down to her heart.
"oh, thats sweet Jinny" Mag said as she patted Jinny's shoulder. Jinny giggled a little.
"I knew that'd get ya!" Jinny said...obviosuly not meaning what she said.
"Oh Jinny" Magda said as she too giggled and sighed!.

Finally Jinny pulled up to the house where Jessy was.
"Here we are" Jinny said as she leaned back.
"Are you going to get out?" Magda asked, noticing Jinny was relaxing.
"Ya...soon." Jinny said...a little worried.
"Whats wrong?" Magda asked?
"What do you think! I just let my little sister get carried out of the station, while i watched, and now I'm going to see her. I dont think she'll be very happy" Jinny said, as she leaned forward, and looked at Magda.
"Neither do I, but at least you can apologize." Magda said, as she opened her door. "Come on"
"Fine" Jinny said madly, as she got out and followed Magda to the door. Magda rang the door bell, and Mr Cluster answered.
"Hi, Mr Cluster I'm Jinny Exstead and this is my partner Magda. We met at the station." Jinny said
"oh yes, what can i do for you?" Mr CLuster asked, like he had no idea.
"I would like to see Jessy. We didn't exactly leave things they way I wanted too."
"Ummm...is that aloud?" Mr Cluster asked, as Magda and Jinny pushed by him.
"No, I dont think so" Jinny started "But what are you going to do? Call the cops?" Jinny said sarcastically, as her and Magda laughed. "Where is she?"
"Uh..in there" He said worried, as he pointed to a room down the hall.
"Thanks" Magda said as her and Jinny walked into the room. When they walked in, they saw Jessy asleep on the matress. It wasn't a bed, just a matress. Jinny looked around and saw that Jessy had already taken her stuff out of Jinny's apartment. Jinny and Magda walked over to Jessy.
"do you mind if we have a little....privacy?" Jinny asked.
"Sure...what ever you want" Magda said as she looked strangly at Jinny. After Magda had left the room, Jinny leaned down, ans sat next to Jessy. She noticed her thumb was wrapped in a bandange, and was purple and puffy (yes i did that cuz that's what my finger is like). Jinny looked at it strangly, but then looked up at her sister.
"Hey, Jessy" She said, even though Jessy was sleeping "This is going to be a lot easier since your asleep. Listen...I'm sorry for what I did at the station. I just couldn't take you home, I'm not used to the resbonsibiltiy." Jinny started to laugh a little "I had a plant once, but it didn't make it. But that's all the resbonsibilty I'm used to having. Well...there is this whole ...me and Teddy thing, but I think I'm getting used to it...and besides...." Jinny was inturupted by the sound of sirens. Jinny jumped up and ran to the living room. "You really called the police?" She said angerly and worried to Mr Cluster.
"No...it wasn't me" He said as he got up
"It wasn't me either" Mrs Cluster said as she came out of the kitchen.
"It was me...." Magda said as she came from ouside....

"Ya Jin, let me explain.." Magda started, but was inturupted by the door being kicked open.
"****!" Jinny yelled as she started to back away, only to see John and Casey come in, followed by Teddy.

"Great, great" Jinny monaned
"You know your not supposed to be here?" Mrs McCarthy said as she walked over to Jinny.
"Ya, ya, ya. I know I know." Jinny said rolling her eyes. Mrs McCarthy cleared her throat to get Jinny's attention.
"But since your here, you can stay for a little while" Mrs McCarthy finished.
"Gee thanks" John said sarcastically. "Now where's the kid"
"In there" Mrs Cluster said, pointing to the room. Casey and John ran in the room, while Teddy ran to Jinny and gave her a hug.
"Hey, how are you?" He asked, holding Jinny tight.
"I'm managing" She answered sadly. "Hey, I got and idea!" Jinny said as she jumped back from TEddy and turned to Mrs McCarthy. "Jess can stay with John our Casey" Jinny smiled, and waited fo an answer.
"I dont think so" Mrs McCarthy answered proudly.
"And why not?" Magda questioned as she also went up to Mrs McCarthy.
"Well...John has a history of violence and Casey is well....gay" Mrs McCarthy answered, like she had practiced.
"What do you mean because Casey is gay?" Jinny said meanly as she walked closer to Mrs McCarthy.
"We just dont think it's a good idea for a 14 year old girl to be living with her gay brother." Mrs McCarthy answered as she slowly backed away from Jinny..

mean while, in the bedroom. John and Casey slowly walked over to their sister.
"Hey sis" Casey said, as her and John leaned down to the mattress their sister was on.
"She's asleep" John said meanly.
"No, really?" Casey answered sarcastically.
"Would you guys shut up!" Jessy said as she slowly sat up.

"Thank you for noticing" Jessy said as she rubbed her eyes then streched.
"Hey kid" John said as he gave her five.
"Hey" Jessy said as she slowly stood up. Just then Mrs McCarthy, Mr and Ms cluster, Jinny, Teddy and Magda came in.
"Hey Jess" Magda said as she walked over to Jessy.
"Hey....it's a little crowded in here!" Jessy said as she pushed everyone back, and walked out of the room, ignoring Jinny. Of course everyone followed. "What does this look like? A frigin parade, leave me alone" JEssy said angerly as she went and sat on the couch.
"Well we have to go" John said as him and Casey headed towards the door.
"Ya, I do too" TEddy said as he kissed Jinny and followed the two brothers. "Bye"
"Bye" Everyone said at once, as the three men left.
"Well, where just gonna go in the kitchen" Mr Cluster said as him and his wife left.
"Me too" Mrs McCarthy said as she followed. Jinny and Magda sat on either side of Jessy. Jessy looked at Magda, but ignored Jinny.
"Hey Magda, how's the crime life" Jessy said, as she move closer to her, and farther from her sister.
"Good good, as a matter a fact, I have to go fight crime right now" Magda said as she laughed a little and got up. "Bye" Shge said as she quickly left. Leaving Jessy and Jinny behind.

Jessy just sat there, acting like no one else was in the room. Jessy picked up the clicker, and turned on the tv. Jinny's eyes followed every movement Jessy made. Finally Jinny couldn't take it anymore.
"Ok, why are you ignoring me!" Jinny said, even though she knew.
"Because thats just what you did to me today. Those cops were dragging me out of there and you couldnt have been more quiet. You acted like i wasnt even there, like I wasnt even your sister!" Jessy yelled as she turned to Jinny.
"I had to" Jinny said as she stood up "I can't take care of you! I can barely take care of myself!"
"I aint a baby!" Jessy said, as she stood up to. "And I need someone to look up to, to help me and listen to me. Your all I have, and now I dont even have you!" Jessy said, as her voice got lower, and a tear formed in her eye. "All I've ever known is family and friends. I have no friends here, and now no family" Jinnyjust looked at the floor. She cared so much for her sister, but couldn't do anything. Jessy was right. She had no one, and now niether did Jinny.
"I'm sorry" Was all Jinny could manage to say.
"Great, your sorry. That makes everything better now" Jessy said sarcastically.
"I'm doing my best!" Jinny yelled "This is not any easier for me then for you. This is all new to me, and I have no idea what to do" Jinny's eyes started to water. "I'll do my best to get you back, but when I'm ready for you" Jinny wipped her eyes and headed for the door. "I'll see you in court tomorrow." She said as she left. Jessy sat on the couch and started to cry.

When Jinny shut the door behind her, she just sat down on the steps. She looked back at the foster home for a second, but then looked down.
"What am I gonna do?" She asked herself quielty as she skook her head. Then she looked up to see magda coming up the stairs.
"Hey, I thought you left?" Jinny said, as she watched Magda come towards her.
"I did, but then I came back because it's kinda your car" Magda said, looking back at the car.
"What am I gonna do?" Jinny said as she stood up and looked at her partner.
"About what?" Magda said as she sat down, and pulled Jinny back down.
"About Jessy. She's all I have and now I dont have her and it's all my fault!" Jinny said as she put her head down. "I did nothing today at the station. I didn't even look at her. I acted like she wasn't there. I didn't even put up a fight to keep her" Jinny finished as she looked at Magda.
"hey, Hey, it's not your fault. It would be against the law to try and stop them" Magda said as she laughed a little at her law joke.
"I'm the reason they took her away. I was drinking when the DSS lady came" Jinny said as she wipped tears from her eyes. "My drinking is going to make me loose everything. First Jessy, then what?" Jinny said as she stood up. "I have to do something. C'mon" Jinny motioned Magda to get up and they both got in the car and drove away.

The alarm went off and Jinny looked at her clock. She had to be in court at 10 and it was almost 9.
"Oh no!" she yelled as she rolled over and sat up. She quickly slid her shoes on, brushed her teeth, grabed her coat, and left. On her way there, she took out the picture that Jessy had left at their mothers grave (the picture of Jinny, Casey, and John). She looked at the picture until she got to the station. When she went inside, Magda, CD, Angela, and even Captain were waiting with their coats on.
"You ready" Jinny asked them as they walked over to her.
"Ya, lets go" CD said as they all left. When they walked into the court room, Jinny froze. She couldn't go any farther.
"Are you ok" Magda asked
"Uh...ya" Jinny said as she shook her head. She walked over to the bench where CD and Angela had sat. Then she looked over to the bench next to her and saw Teddy and Jessy talking and laughing. Jinny stared at them for a second. She couldn't tell what they were saying, but that didn't matter. They got along so well, so perfect, and Jinny loved them both. Thats when she realized she had to win this! She had to have both of them. Just then the judge quieted the court room.
"Are we ready to start?" He asked agravatted.
"Yes, yes" Mrs McCarthy answered as she sat down.
"Ok, so whats the case?" The judge asked as he leaned towards the crowed.
"Well, as you know i'm from DSS." Mrs McCarthy started. "Well a few days ago i made a trip to Ms Exstead's house" She said pointing to Jinny. "When I got there, I found she was drinking and had been drinking the whole day. There were numerous bottles in the sink, and tons in the fridge. Along with the beer, the only thing in the fridge was old food and some milk." Mrs McCarthy paced back and forth while she was talking. "Then I checked in the bedroom and her guns were laying on the ground" The judge looked at Jinny who had her head down.
"Ms Exstead, do you have an explaination." The judge asked impaticently.
"Well..." Jinny said as she stood up "I went shopping and bought enough food for a year. I hadn't had time to go shopping, thats why i didn't had food. And as for the guns..well I'm a cop, so I have to have guns..but I'll put them in a safer place." Jinny looked up at the judge, who had no expression what so ever on his face.
"What about the drinking?" The jugde asked.

Jinny looked up at the judge and smiled a little.
"I am a Alcoholic" She said, but then looked at the crowed. "But yesterday I joined AA" She pulled out her wallet and handed the judge a card.
"Alcoholics aynonoms" He said, reading the card.
"Yes. I go there every Tuesday and Thurday night from 8 to 9" Jinny said to the judge as she took back her card. "I'm taking care of my drinking" Jinny said as she smiled and looked at her friends, who were smiling too. Then she looked at Jessy, who got up and ran to hug her sister.
"Thank you" Jessy said as she let go of her sister.
"No problem" Jinny said as she watched her sister walk back to her seat.
"Well.." The judge started, staring at Jinny. Everyone's heart stopped. They had no idea what the judge was going to say. He had no expression on his face. "I think that the conditions of Ms Exstead.."
"Inspector" Jinny interuppted. "Sorry" The judge cleared his throat and continued.
"Of Inspector Exstead's living quarters are not very exceptable" Everyone but Mrs McCarthy and the Cluster's put their head down. "But..." The judge continued as everyone looked up "I think that they will be getting better. So, therfore, I place full custody of Jesica Exstead in the hands of Inspector Exstead!" Jinny and Jessy's face lit up and they all stood up. Jinny ran to her friends and to her sister.
"Congradulations Jinny" Teddy said as he hugged her
"Ya, great job Jin" Magda said as she gave Jinny a hug.
"YES!!" Jessy yelled as she hugged Jinny "This is awsome! Can we go home now?"
"No...we're going to eat!" Jinny said as they as they all left.....
