Okay um...remember in the ep were somebody was after Jinny? Well she said that her and Teddy had been out 4 times. This is one of the times they went out. I wrote this a while back like after the ep where Teddy first asked Jinny out and she kept saying no. So...tell me if you like and tell me if you don't like it. Please. Here's a little bit of it

(((Station)))
Jinny: Yes, Teddy. Yea. Okay. All right. Bye (looks at her cell phone and presses the ‘off’ button hard)
Magda: (grins) Theodore bugging you.
Jinny: (shoots a glare at M) What does it look like? (Sweetly sarcastic)
Magda: He’ll stop. Where you going tonight? (Flips through papers on her desk)
Jinny: Anchorside, were else?
Magda: (nods, gets up and heads for K’s office)
Jinny: (answers the phone at her desk) Exstead? (Slams the phone down)
Magda: (stops on her way to door and looks at J)
Jinny: (looks at M pleadingly) I’ll take them in to Cap, tell him to go away. (Jumps up, and takes the folder from M)
Magda: Who is it?
Jinny: (stares at the phone as it starts to ring. She glares at M, and reaches for the phone) Exstead. Yes, Teddy. No where else. Huh? (Looks at M) All right, this one time. What is the- (pauses) what? Okay, see ya. No, Teddy, I’m a cop I think I can find it. Okay, bye! (Slams the phone down and glares at M)
Magda: What did he want?
Jinny: He wants to meet at some little Irish place called Spring Clovers.
Magda: Spring Clovers? I’ve never heard of it before.
Jinny: I’m gonna go run by it and check it out, make sure it’s clean and has bar.
Magda: (Grins) okay.
Kate: (sticks her head out her door) Jinny.
Jinny: (keys in hand looks over at Kate) Yea.
Kate: Got a call down in the mission district. An old lady said she saw a couple of suspicious looking teen guys. Looked like they were dealing drugs and they were hanging out near her place. 404 St.
Jinny: I’ll check it out.
Kate: (nods and looks M, who is standing beside her) are you coming in?
Magda: Oh, yeah.
Kate: (rolls her eyes)

((((In Car)))
Jinny: (Driving towards the mission district, when a sign catches her eye and makes her pull over. J looks at the sign and reads “Spring Clovers”) So this is this place. (All of the sudden J jumps when a face pops in front of her) Teddy! (Yells)
Teddy: (smiling, motions for her to roll down her window)
Jinny: What are you doing?
Teddy: I’ve known you long enough that you would check out the place before you came with me tonight. So…(bends down to eye level with J)
Jinny: Actually-
Teddy: (leans forward and kisses her)
(After a minute, T backs up)
Jinny: Actually I-
Teddy: (Gives her another quick kisses then opens her door) Wanna go in for a drink?
Jinny: (hesitates for a moment then follows Teddy inside)

Jinny and Teddy at the bar, each having a drink and talking.
Jinny: (reaches for her ringing cell phone) Exstead. (Her words are a little slurred) Cap? (Straightens up a little) What? I-I’ll be there in ten. (Shoves her cell in her coat pocket and grabs her keys)
Teddy: What’s the matter?
Jinny: Oh, jeez I gotta go. (Starts to leave)
Teddy: (grabs her arm and stops her) Jinny what’s the matter?
Jinny: (jerks her arm away and hurries out of the restaurant)

(((Station)))
Jinny enters. CD, Angela, Magda and Kate are all huddled around M’s desk.
Jinny: (slows down when she sees the group huddled together)
Kate (looks up and sees J) Where were you? I told you to get down to the district immediately.
Jinny: I’m sorry.
Kate: What happened?
Jinny: (sighs and looks upset)
Teddy: (walks in behind J) Jinny, what’s the matter? You left the bar in such a hurry I though something was wrong?
Kate: (Sees T and glares at J)
Jinny: (shake her head and closes her eyes) No, no, no.
Kate: Get rid of him then in my office. (Leaves)
Jinny: (turns to Teddy and glares at him) Why did you follow me?
Teddy: I wanted to know what was the matter Jinn. You left in such a hurry I thought-. (Puts a hand on her arm)
Jinny: Teddy will you leave me be for just a day or two. I need some space. You know you’ve been calling me every five minutes ever since we’ve been so called ‘dating’. I’m a big girl and I’m sick and tired of being called after. I can take care of myself, now will you back off. (Glaring at T)
Teddy: (looks hurt) If that’s what you want Jinny. (Pulls his arm away and leaves)
Jinny: (Watches him leave, then turns towards the M, CD, and A)
(They stare for a minute then, turn back to what they were doing)
Jinny: (towards the group) Not a word from you three.(Leaves for K’s office)
CD: (winces) Oh, bad move Jinny.
Angela: I think she just lost a good guy.
Magda: (shakes her head)

(((Kate’s Office)))
Jinny: What!? I can't go home ''till I found thouse kids...that could forever(Yelling at K)
Kate: (pulls off her glasses) Jinny, because of you an old woman was beat up and thank-fully in stable condition at the Med. Her house was stripped clean of everything and all because Inspector Jinny Exstead, decided to have a drink with her boy friend and not do her job.
Jinny: (looks mad) Teddy is not my boy-friend.
Kate: (sarcastically speaks) Oh, I’m sorry. The word around the Division says different.
Jinny: What?
Kate: (looks at J) You heard my orders.
Jinny Your gonna kill me one day working like this.
Kate: (sits) I wouldn’t have to if you for once in your life did your job right.
Jinny: (glares at K then leaves)

( In Flashes- Teddy driving in his car- back to Jinny, flipping through papers on her desk sighs and puts her head in her hand. Teddy- gets to his apartment and unlocks the door. Jinny- gets up and gets something to drink. Teddy- slouches on his couch and looks in a daze. Jinny- drinking her water slowly crumples the cup and looks like she is thinking. ((Next day- still in flashes)) Jinny: looks tired as she drops some papers on K’s desk. Teddy- getting in his car and heading to work. Jinny- gets a call, grabs her keys and leaves. Teddy- arriving at work. Jinny- in mission district, holding gun to two teenage kids with drugs in their hands. Teddy- fumbles for his keys in his pocket and unlocks the door to his office. Jinny- Pushing the two kids in her patrol car and heads back to the Division. Teddy- slumps in his chair, closes his eyes, thinking of Jinny. Jinny- Leaving the two kids with another officer, she goes to her desk and sits in her chair, leaning forward she puts her head in her hands and sighs, looking at fresh paperwork on her desk. ((That night)) (Still in flashes) Jinny- taking notes from a young woman whose house was robbed. Teddy- locking the door to his office, he gets in his car. Jinny- sitting back in at her desk, she rubs her eyes and yawns. Teddy- pulls up to Anchorside, hesitates, then gets out. Jinny- washing her hands, she looks at herself in the mirror and sighs. Teddy- drunk, walking out the bar, swaying, gets in his car and fumbles around for his car then takes about a minute to find the ignition. Back to Jinny)
Jinny: (enters K’ so office and drops a folder full of papers on her desk.
Kate: (looks up and pulls off her glasses)
Jinny: I’m going home. (Points to the lady outside) there’s all the info. (Leaves)

Jinny (walks in the station, looking more tired then ever. Bags are under her eyes, her hair a little messed up. She slumps in her chair and puts her head in her hands)
Magda: (looks over at J) what’s the matter? I thought your double shifts were over?
Jinny: (groans) it is. I went home and I tossed and turned in bed all night. I felt like something was wrong. I could not sleep for the life of me. I drifted off for about ten minutes then woke back up. Over and over again, it was terrible.
Magda: Yea well, trying having a boy who has the flu. That’s terrible. He’s up all night and I’m up with him.
Jinny: Flu? Poor Ben. I’ll come by and see him later.
Magda: All right. Just no stories. (Grins at J)
Jinny: (grins, then reaches for the phone at her desk) Exstead? Yes. No, I don’t. I haven’t seen him in two days. That’s not like him. (Looks at M) When was the last time you saw him? Last night? (Scribbles stuff on a piece of paper) Which way? Okay, I’ll check it out.
Magda: ( looks at J as she hangs up the phone) what was that?
Jinny: A guy that works with Teddy said that he never came in this morning. That he was in and out of it yesterday and that when he left last night, he seemed…well he didn’t go home in his usually direction. (Looks at her piece of paper)
Magda: How did this guy know to call you?
Jinny: My name and number was pinned on Teddy’s bulletin board in his office.
Magda: (sips her coffee) Maybe he got sick and hasn’t had time to call in.
Jinny: (shakes her head) No. He would call in no matter how sick. (Thinks a minute) Something isn’t right. (Gets up and grabs her coat)
Magda: (looks at J) Where are you going?
Jinny: (pulling on her coat) I’m gonna go to Teddy’s place and if he isn’t there I’ll call back here and then I want you to send out some people to look for him. I’ll be looking on my own.
Magda: (nods as J leaves)

(((At apartment)))
Jinny: (walks into Teddy’s apartment building and goes straight to the information desk) Yea, have you seen the tenant who lives in Room B7, Theodore Blumenthal, at all since yesterday? (Shows lady her police ID)
Lady: (thinks a minute) Come to think of it, last time I saw him was when he left for work yesterday morning. I’m not here all of the time so, he might’ve come back. I’m usually here in the evenings though, and see him when he comes back, but my little girl got sick and my assistant took over.
Jinny: Give me the key to his apartment.
Lady: (takes a key from her pocket and opens a locked drawer. Pulling out the key, she hands it to J) Here you go.
Jinny: (goes up the stairs at a face pace. Reaching T’s door, she first checks to see if it is locked. A surprised looks comes on her face when the door isn’t locked)
(After a thorough check, and no sign of T. J returned the key and sat thinking in her car)
Jinny: Magda. (Calls M on her cell) Yea, no Teddy. No I’m not worried, it’s just…not like him. Look I’m gonna search around and if I find nothing, send out a warrant. (Pauses) Yes, a warrant. A definite way to get him. Yea thanks! (Starts her car up and pulls out. A couple streets down, J stops at a red light. All of the sudden a car goes flying past her and smashes the side of another car going across)
Jinny: (ducks down. Then looks back up. The car that had run the red light was flipped over and J knew any minute it was going to explode. The other car’s side was smashed in the driver was hanging over the steering wheel. Running out of the car, J goes to the car that ran the red light. Bending down she looked through the cracked window into the driver seat. What she saw almost made her yell. Teddy was hanging upside, blood covered, in the seat) Oh, no! Hang on Teddy. (Smashing the window with her foot, there was now a crowd of people and in the distance fire engines could be heard. Reaching in, J fumbled for the buckle that strapped T in)
Teddy: (groans)
Jinny: Hold on Teddy. Hold on. (Carefully J pulled T out and laid him on the sidewalk. Crouching over J checked for a pulse) Come on Teddy! Come on. (J cradled T’s head in her lap and looked up a the gathering crowd) (Shouts) Somebody get an ambulance over here now! (mumbles) Hold On, Teddy, hold on.
(All of the sudden the car shoots up in flames and explodes. Metal goes flying everywhere. J, with all of her effort, pulles T away, but then, a piece of the car door went flying through the air and crashed into J’s side)
Jinny: Ahh! (Let’s go of Teddy and falls to the ground, banging her head on the concrete, J blacks out)

(((In Magda’s car)))
CD and Magda are in the car heading for a call about a serious accident.
Magda: Wonder what kind of accident it was? (Turns a street)
CD: The usually probably. Teen D.U.I, partying to all hours of the nights then heads home and crashes into another car.
Magda: (grins) Probably. (They arrive at the site. And see firemen putting two people on stretchers, and a couple other getting a man out of the other car) Hey, that’s Jinn’s car. (M points to J’s red patrol car)
CD: Yea, you think she’s here?
Magda: (looks closely at the two people getting put on stretchers) Oh my- is that Jinny?
CD: (looks hard, then hurries out of the car with M)
Magda: What happened? (M asked a guy watching from the corner)
Guy: The car ran red a light and crashed into that one. Then a lady got the guy out of the car that ran the light. She was yelling his name and then the car exploded (pauses) there were so many fumes, I didn’t see what happened after that.
Magda: (turns to CD) Could it have been Jinny?
CD: (turns to the guy) Did you see the whole thing.
Guy: (nods)
CD: Where did the lady come from?
Guy: (looks around and points to J’s patrol car) That car.
Magda: (wastes no time and runs for the ambulance)

More later. I just finished cutting the grass and I gotta take a shower.

Magda: (enters the hospital w/ CD and goes up the desk) Exstead?
Lady: Exstead. (Flips through her papers and pulls out a file) Jinny Exstead?
Magda and CD : (nod)
Lady: Room 223, but no visitors are allowed right now
Magda and CD: (pull out their police ID)
Lady: Oh. (Nods) Third floor.
Magda and CD: (enter J’s room and relax when they she isn’t messed up pretty bad)
Magda: (whispers) She doesn’t look too bad.
CD: Yea.
Magda: (walks over to J’s on side) Jinny.
Jinny: (not moving)
CD: (stands behind M)
Magda: Don’t worry Jinn, everything is going to be fine.
CD: Come on, let’s go check on the cause of all of this.
Magda: (looks at CD curiously)
CD: Teddy. (As they get to Ts door a doctor comes out of the room and stops them from entering)
D: Where are you going?
CD: (holds up her ID) We need to see the patient inside this room.
D: (Holds up his hands) I’m sorry, no visitors not even police. I’m sorry, this man is in critical condition and can not be disturbed now. Let him at least go peacefully.
M: What?
D: He has ten percent chance of living all right, not even that much. He is hanging on by a thread. He lost a lot of blood, and is very weak. Not to mention all of the alcohol he has consumed.
M: (sighs)
C: Thank you doctor. (Walks over to a chair and sits)
M: (Follows) what do we do now?
C: (exhales loudly and puts her chin in her hand) Call Cap and get her filled in. Then I guess get back to work till further word.
M: (reaches for her ringing phone) Rameriz. Hey! How is he? That’s good, can I talk to him? (Pauses) Hey Papi! Grandma told me you were feeling better. You stay in bed you hear, get some rest. All-what? (Looks at C) Where did you hear that? On TV? Look, baby I’m gonna try to come home early and then we’ll talk okay. All right. Bye-bye!
C: What?
M: He was watching TV and saw the car accident on the news. They were filming Jinn and Teddy as they were put on in the ambulances. He wanted to know if it was Jinny because that’s who it looked like.
C Why didn’t you tell him?
M: I couldn’t. He loves Jinny so much and to tell him that it was her…(looks around) I don’t ‘know…
(Nurse walks up to them) Excuse me, you two were the ones just inquiring about Jinny Exstead, were you not?
M&C: yea. (Stand)
N: she is awake and you may see her if you want.
M: How bad is she?
N: Not too bad. She just has a couple of broken ribs, her arm was severely broken, and she has a mild concussion, she took a bad hit it to the concrete.

M&C; (enter the room and look at J. She has a small bandage on the left side of her head, and her right arm was in a cast)
M&C: (look at each other then back at J)
M: (goes over to J’s left side) Hey, Jinny.
J: (opens her eyes and looks at M) Where…what happened? Teddy…
C: (walk over) Jinny. The car exploded, you pulled Teddy away, then a piece of the door came flying at you and banged our side.
J: (groans) How is Teddy?
M: (looks at C)
C: (looks at M then at J)
J: (looks from M to C) What? He’s not-
M- (shakes her head) No. He just…well…the doctors aren’t even giving him a ten percent chance.
J: (swallows) Why would Teddy run through a red light. He was driving like he was drunk man.
C: Jinny, he was drunk. Very. So much that just drinking that much could’ve killed him. It’s no wonder the accident didn’t…
J: It’s my fault! (closes her eyes as the tears well up)
M: No Jinn. It’s not.
J: Yes it is.
C: How do you figure?
J: If I hadn’t…(pauses) if I hadn’t yelled at him at the station…he wouldn’t of gotten drunk and then…none of this…(pauses and closes her eyes)
M: (looks at C)
C: (looks at M)
J: How long do I have to stay here?
M: Probably ‘till you feel better. Like you can do on your own.
J: Where’s Teddy?
C: First floor, we tried to see him but- (stops when M looks at her)
M: (gets up) You know we’ll leave you alone now so that you can rest. We’ll be back later.
J: (nod) okay.
C: See ya Jinn.

C: (walks up to M) Just checked on the guy that got hit. He’s gonna be okay. Mild concussion, broken leg, and a couple of bruises. But he is going to press charges.
M: (looks at C and sighs) Teddy is an A.D.A maybe he can come out clean or something.
C: (shakes her head) Noway. There were too many witness at the scene. (pauses) I had Angela go down and get some and bring um up to the station. Told her we would be in, in about twenty.
M: (nods) Jinny is not going to like this.

(((J’s room that evening)))
J: (sitting up in bed, reaching down with her good arm to tie her shoe)
D: (watching) I really advise that you stay the night…you did take a-
J: (looks up at him) Is it gonna kill me if I leave tonight? (sharply)
D: (shakes his head)
J: All I wanted to know.
D: (shakes his head and leaves)
J: (Standing up slowly, J grabs the bed as she sways a little)
M: (enters the room and sees J sway) Hey (jumps forward)
J: I’m okay, just… (reaches for her coat)
M: (helps J with her coat) You sure you wanna leave tonight?
J: (nods)
M: And you sure you don’t mind being in the same house with a boy who is recovering from the flu?
J: Do you not want me to-
M: (pulls the coat over J’s arm in the sling and gives it a small pat) I’m fine with it.
J: (winces slightly)
M: Sorry.
J: (Waves it off and reaches for her cell on the nightstand)
M: (show hesitants) Do you wanna see Teddy before we leave?
J: (pauses with her back turned to M. Tucking her cell phone in her pocket she turns back to M) Okay. (a little choked)

(((T’s room)))
J: (pauses before she enter’s T’s room and looks at M)
M: You gotta Jinn.
J: Why? Because it’s my fault, right?
M: I didn’t say that…
J: (mumbles) Yeah. (enters the room and sees T lying there, breaths in deeply. Walks over and looks down at T. Sitting on the chair beside the bed, J looks down at her arm, then back at T) I’m sorry Teddy. (wipes away a tear and looks back at him) I never meant for this to happen. I- Magda keeps telling me that…(looks down at her arm in the sling) That it’s not my fault, but uh….I know it is. (Looks back up at T, breaths in deeply and looks at T through blurry vision) If I could take back… the last couple of days…(stops wipes away the tears) Teddy, you are the only guy I’ve met who has cared about me. Please…(pauses) please don’t go…I need you. (leans her head on the bed and cries)
(Camera fades out)


(((five hours later)))
J: (pouring coffee into a mug and heading back to T’s room. When J enters she see’s the doctor)
D: (turns around and looks at J)
J: How is he?
D: He’s still in a coma, doesn’t seem like he wants to come out of it anytime soon. Look Miss, it’s nine, visiting hours are closed.
J: (looks down at her coffee then back at the doctor) Can I wait in the waiting room?
D: (looks at J) All night?
J: Yeah.
D: Look Miss-
M: (enters the room) Hey, Jinny.
J: (turns) Mag.
D: (leaves the room, on his way out, whispers to M) See if you can get her to go home. She needs rest.
M: (nods)
J: ( her back to M and D, she looks at T) I don’t care what the doctor says Magda, I’m staying.
M: Jinn come on. Look at you? You’re a mess, you are in no condition to sleep in a chair all night, with little sleep.
J: (keeps looking at T as tears well up)
M: (takes J coat and hold it up for her to put on)
J: Magda.
M: (puts the coat down and walks over to J) Yeah.
J: (keep looking at T) I don’t know what I’d do if Teddy…
M: (Puts a hand on J’s shoulder) He’s not gonna. He’s gonna be fine.
J: Yeah. (slips into her coat)
M: Now. Come to my house and rest…I’ll make sure Ben doesn’t bother you. And Cap said she understands if you don’t wanna come in to work tomorrow.
J: (looks at M) Cap knows about this?
M: Are you kidding? It’s news on tube. She even as CD and Angela inspecting it.
J: That’s crazy.
M: (leaving the hospital) You do know the person who Teddy hit, is pressing charges.
J: As long as he isn’t dead.
M: Huh?
J: (shakes her head as M starts up the car)
M: Don’t worry Jinn. I’m sure everything is going to turn out all right.

(((next day)))
Jinny: (rolls over in bed, and turns on her bad arm. She wakes up in pain and sits up. Reaching over and grabbing her arm, J takes a deep breath) Jeez. (Leans back against the wall and closes her eyes. A beeping sound makes her look at the clock on the nightstand beside the bed. Reaching over J turns the alarm off)
(knock on door)
J: Come in
(door opens, Ben comes him)
B: Hi Jinny!
J: (smiles) Good morning.
B: Are you feeling better?
J: (nods her head) Yeah. (pushes a pillow aside and let’s B sit next to her) How are you feeling? I understand the flu?
B: (nods his head and smiles) yeah. But mommy said I’m much better.
J: I’m glad to hear that.
B: I saw you on tv the other day.
J: (looks at B) What? When was I on tv?
B: Mommy didn’t tell me a lot. But you had blood all over you. (looks at J’s cast) Did you break your arm?
J: (looks at her arm then back at B) Uh…yeah…yeah.
B: How?
J: Um…how about a story.
B: How about a sequel to Little Red?
J: (laughs)
B: (laughs)
(Magda walks in and looks B and J)
M: Ben what did I tell you.
B: Not to intrude on Jinny, I knocked first.
J: (looks at M)
B: She was just about to give me the sequel to Little Red.
M: Maybe later baby, you have to get back in bed and rest and Jinny and I have to go to work.
B: Okay. (slids out of bed) Bye-Bye Jinny.
J: See ya.
M: (scoots him out of the room and looks at J) I’m sorry if he bothered you.
J: (shakes her head and smiles) No trouble. He’s a good kid.
M: Yeah. Do you feel like going to work today? I just said that you were to Ben because then he would be like begging you to stay with him.
J: (smiles) I don’t know.
M: No pressure Jinn. I fully understand if your not up to it.
J: Well I did set my alarm.
B: (comes running back in) Please stay Jinny, please!

This part might've been boring, i would write more but i g2g!

B: Will you tell me another one tomorrow?
J: (reaches down and pulls the comforter overB) Yeah. But I’m gonna have to go to work tomorrow. And you might have to go to school (sits on the edge of the bed and looks at B)
B: Yeah I know. Where is mommy?
J: She had to work late tonight, she should be home soon.
B: Okay.
J: Did you brush your teeth?
B: (nods)
J: Okay, ‘night. (smiles at B, turns the light out and shuts the door behind her. She jumps a little when she sees’ M walk in) Hey!
M: Hey, where’s Ben?
J: I just put him to bed, right on time. (Grins)
M: (smiles) Thanks.
J: Hey it’s only 9:00, I think I’m gonna head down to the hospital and check on Teddy.
M: Okay. Take my car.
J: Thanks!

(((hospital)))
J: (enters T room and sits down) How ya doin today? You look a little better. (sighs) I spent the whole day playing cowboys and Indians with Ben, he’s a funny little guy that’s for sure, but..uh…he’s sweet. I’m staying at Magda’s place…since…the doctors think somebody should be there for me in case I can’t do something with my arm…or get a bad headach. You know that was a nasty blow I took, landed right here. (touches the bandage on her head) Yeah…it hurt…but I don’t remember. I don’t remember much what happened. (reaches over and takes his hand in hers) All I remember is seeing you in that car…I knew I…I had to get you out. It scared me to death. I’m usually not…well…I’m not frightened that easily…but…this scared me. I…I thought I lost you. (keeps holding T’s hand, leans back in her chair and closes her eyes)

(((Two days later….station)))
Jinny: (sitting at her desk, going through papers0
(Angela walks in the room) Hey Jinny! Good to have you back.
J: (looks up a A) Thanks, it’s good to be back.
A: (sits at he desk) How’s Teddy?
J: (shrugs her shoulders) Still asleep.
A: Don’t worry he’ll come out of it.
J: Yeah.
(Kate enters the room)
J: Uh, Cap.
K: (looks at J)
J: Wheres- (show’s the warrant)
K: He’s off today. (leans over and signs her name on the paper) I’ll get Magda and Peter to pick him up.
J: (looks at K) What?
K: Well your in no-
J: I’m fine Captian. I can pick him up.
K: Jinny what did you just call me?
J: What? Captian?
K: Thank-you! (turns to M)
J: (shakes her head and picks up the phone) Exstead. Yeah! When? I’ll be right there.
K: (without looking up) CD. (points to J)
J: He’s awake.
C: Really?
J: (nods) Yeah. (grabs her keys)
C: (take the keys from J) I’ll drive.
J: Okay. I..um…hurry.

J: (looks at C)
C: Go on. (grinning, give’s J a little shove in the room.
J; (walks in and sees T sitting up)
T: (looks at J) Jinny.
J: Hey! (slowly walks over to T)
T: (looks at J’s arm) What happened?
J: (looks down at her arm underneath her coat) Oh…um…it got broken when…(stops)
T: Jinny, I remember (his voice a littly raspy and low) you. When the car flipped, I…saw you. I know it was in my head, but…you looked scared.
J: (sits down on the chair) Teddy I was there.
T: (looks a little confused) How?
J: One of your ADA pals called me and told me you hadn’t showed up at work. I went to your apartment and you weren’t there. I stopped at red light and you came flying by. (pauses) Your car flipped and when I realized what all had happened I ran over to your car. When I looked through the window I saw you…(stops) I smashed your window and got you out and then the car exploded and a piece of the door came flying at my side. I got knocked out hitting the concrete.
T: Jinny, I’m sorry.
J: (leans forward) No, I’m sorry.
T: (closes his eyes)
J: (pats his hand) Rest Teddy. I’m not going anywhere.
T: (drifts to sleep)
J: (looking at T, his hand in hers) I’m here to stay…and to love you… always.
(Camera (top angle) fades out; credits roll)
