Lucy was a fibber, whether it was to hide something, to get what she wanted, to keep a secret, to impersonate someone else, etc. she really knew how to lie and sometimes get away with it. :lol:

THE QUIZ SHOW: she was told to lie to Ricky abt her former husband in order to win the cash prize. She ended up having to lie abt two men when she thought the bum who arrived at the door was from the contest.

GIRLS WANT TO GO TO A NIGHTCLUB: Lucy (along with Ethel) pretends to be Ricky's blind date, a country bumpkin.

THE DIET: Lucy had to pretend to NOT know Ricky during the audition.

Lucy lied to the lady at the employment agency, when she said that she and Ethel were candy makers.

This is a doozy. Lucy lied to Caroyln Appleby about hosting a part with a bunch of movie stars and then had to rent a bunch of costumes to impersonate them. Of course she told her about dancing with Van Johnson, although that turned out alright until she brought up the movie star party.

In Monte Carlo she lied to Ricky about the money she won in the casino.

In THE SEANCE, Lucy tells Mr. Meriweather they are going to have a seance. Ethel portrays MEDIUM RAYA. They proceed to convince Mr. Meriweather that he is in contact with "Tillie".

She lied about being Ricky's Agent.

Lucy lied to Ricky abt calling the car insurance agent just so she could learn to drive.

Lucy lied at first abt how the cars "got that way". :lol:

Lucy lied to the car dealer guy by saying she works for a tv studio who is searching for an old cadillac.

Ethel lied to her father when she told him she was going to Hollywood to star in a movie.

Ricky lies abt the mink coat he brings home. Lucy lied to Ricky when she told him their anniversary was coming up, which caused Ricky to be worried since he forgot.

Ricky lies abt being in the park feeding the pigeons, solely to make Lucy feel better abt the whole Rosemary issue.

Mrs. Hudson lies to Lucy in the babysitting episode. She has TWINS, not one child.

In the mink coat episode, Lucy tells Ethel near the end that she has lied many times to Ricky about the date of their anniversary; whenever she sees what she wants as a [expensive] present; so much that she has forgotten the real date herself. Either she was also lying on that point, or she found out by their next one, when a surprise party was planned. No wait... they had to go back to Connecticut and get really married, so the new date was then that date (wasn't it?) :lol:

^^^Well, Ricky got the girl at the marriage license bureau to lie to Lucy abt the marriage license being no good, which he fessed up to in Connecticut. So the second marriage didn't count, it was merely a renewal of vows. ;)

Fred lied to Ricky abt the rent being $10 a month more per month which in turn caused Ethel to tell Ricky the truth (behind the scenes) and she gave him back the extra $10 per month. How Ethel managed to hide that secret from Fred I am still awaiting a response to that since his books would reflect $10 missing from the accounts. :confused:

In the Swiss Alps episode, Ethel confessed to Fred her real age, but he told her HER REAL AGE as he knew all along. :lol: The trio also admitted to Lucy they had eaten her sandwich when she took a nap.

The trio tried to hide from Ricky the fact Fred loused up the trip to Switzerland and sent the band elsewhere.

I think some sort of LIAR prize needs to go to Mrs. Hanson of Hanson's Dress Shop. :) Not only did she have phony customers faking buying her clothing she made a up a huge lying story about her mother, her grandmother :eek: :lol: , her burned down house and her dead car. And Lucy did her share of lying in that ep too. "Our phone is dead!" "The check is good!" "This is the MAID speaking Mr.Ricardo is here but he doesn't speak any English! I just "watched" this whole episode by reading your post. :rofl: Don't forget the girls lied to the boys abt buying the dress shop, they lied when the boys appeared in front of the store (chances of that happening?) and also when Lucy pretended to be an old lady in a wheelchair with a broken leg to boot! :crazy:

Geez, I wonder, with this episode and the one where Lucy lies abt the man breaking into the apartment, DAYAAAAAAMN! We need to really do a checklist here to see which episode was the worst! :lol: :crazy:

I just remembered another lie from that episode. When Mrs. Hansen asked abt the down payment, Lucy said she had to "transfer assets from her other accounts"...:rofl: Yeah, like Lucy had other accounts. :crazy:

Lucy then told Ricky that the woman on the phone was a friend of hers whose daughter was having difficulty with her spanish class and needed Ricky to help translate things. :lol:
