I'm trying to recall the title of a tv show set in the remote northwest. Characters had to arrive and leave via sea plane. The plot revolved around a preacher trying to refurbish/reopen a church. Most of the storylines unfolded around the local pub/restaurant where everyone gathered.

Unfortunately I'm not even sure which decade it was on. I think it was just the one season ..I'm guessing it was in the 70's.

I forgot to mention in the original message that I am not referring to either Northern Exposure or the current Men In Trees, though the story line had some things in common with both of them.
