Not really, though, about the government part. I've never even had a detention. I just wanted to let everyone know that starting Saturday I won't be here for three weeks. One of my best friends has family in Germany, and they asked me to go along with them for their visit this summer. I'll be going to her father's hometown in Germany among other places, and we're also visiting Tuscany in Italy. I should be back in the U.S. July 23ish, but I don't know if I'll be home by then. Definitely a day or two after that I'll be back here. :) Anywhoo, just letting ya'lls know. I'm pretty pumped, I've only ever been to Canada...

Thanks everyone :) Well, my friend's dad's family is in Bruhl, Germany which is a pretty small town. That's where we stay when we get back from Italy. For the first week we'll be staying somewhere right outside of Munich I think.

Hey guys, I didn't plunge into the depths of the ocean blue on the plane and I'm here in an internet cafe in Germany. The y and z are opposite on the keyboard and I have to shift for certain things and it's pissing me off haha. Anywho, I just thought I'd check in. It's weird being the foreigner for once, but whatev it's cool here. Some differences I've noticed so far are that guys here really like their speedos, even nasty old fat ones (no offense to any old nasty fat dudes out there, I respect you for the comfort you have with ur body ha), people's obsession with soccer, BIKES everywhere, but they def love to speed in their cars. haha and you think gas is bad in America...holy frik, I don't know why people even bother to drive here. But it's really cute and cozy here. I'm in Bovaria right now and the mountains are amazing.
