There is no way anyone can get pass that Wall with those things pushing out at them-lol
Who the hell would NOT FALL OFF?-lol
Pavan 06-24-2008, 02:20 PM We shall see, I guess, lol. I want to see someone get pass those big red balls, too.
Pavan 06-25-2008, 12:44 AM Well that was a very fun hour. Very funny. Jill Wagner is so hot.

It seems like people can get injured when they bounce off those red balls-lol
Pavan 06-25-2008, 11:42 PM What did you think of the final round in the premiere? 10 million people watched Tuesday. It repeats Sunday at 7pm this week, if anyone missed it.
Each week the obstacles will change.
Jude The Obscure 07-05-2008, 11:53 PM This program reminds me of the old '70s show, "Almost Anything Goes".
Pavan 07-06-2008, 12:03 AM The dreadmill round in episode two was hilarious.
Brieannas21 07-06-2008, 12:40 AM This shows sounds like a remake of an Asian show that my husband watch.
MonarC 07-09-2008, 02:11 PM The show looks stupid at first but it gets harder as it goes on. I thought it was quite entertaining. Nothing else is on.
TVFactFan 07-09-2008, 08:20 PM Those Red Balls look like they can injury someone
Pavan 07-09-2008, 08:45 PM Did you see it last night Solomon? Someone got stuck underneath one of the big red balls! It was very funny.

No I didn't see that, I would be too nervous to jump on them balls-lol
JulieSomoski 07-09-2008, 08:56 PM I watched Wipeout last night, instead of CFF, and it was actually a pretty funny show. I thought it would be one of those nonsense shows, but it actually wasn't. I'll have to start DVR-ing CFF and watching Wipeout! I heard it hit a ratings high last night, so it' definitely isn't going anywhere.
Pavan 07-09-2008, 08:59 PM 10.6 million last night and a 4.0/13 18-49 rating! That 18-49 rating is massive for summer. Series high in every mark and this was the third episode. Episode two was slightly down from the premiere, but not much at all, and now episode three builds on both of those episodes.
Jude The Obscure 07-09-2008, 10:35 PM Looks like ABC will be ordering more episodes of this considering how the ratings are building. I would keep it as a summer show, IMO.

I agree with that - they definitely have to keep it as a summer show. If they bring it back during the regular season, they might ruin what's good. Sort of like America's Got Talent - NBC has been really smart to keep that strictly as a summer show, even though it does better than most of their fall lineup anyways.
Pavan 07-11-2008, 04:39 PM ABC has 11 episodes ordered already for Wipeout...so they can't really order more as 11 episodes will get them through early September. Maybe another episode or two to get them through the rest of the summer and a nice transition into fall 2008.
Jude The Obscure 07-11-2008, 06:41 PM My point, Pav (and I do have one, thanks Ellen! ;) ) is that ABC should be announcing that it is ordering more episodes for mid-season or renewing it outright for next summer.
Pavan 01-10-2009, 04:22 PM ABC is repeating Wipeout all this month on weekend evenings. Today at 5pm ET and tomorrow at 5pm ET. As well as Sunday, Jan. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 1 at 5pm ET. Why? To get ready for the ALL-NEW Wipeout Bowl I: Cheerleaders vs. Couch Potatoes on Super Bowl Sunday on ABC during the 10-15 min Super Bowl halftime show switch to ABC and switch to ABC after the game is over for an all-new one-hour episode!
It is funnier than most of today's sitcoms. I put it in the same league as Big Bang Theory and Samantha Who.
