I've been to the ER 3 times in the past with kidney stones. And the bad thing is, I haven't passed it yet. So it can hit me again soon. I wish you good luck with yours. It only lasted a day and it quickly dissolved on it's own but not before causing me the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. I was given vicodin and even that didn't take the pain away...didn't even take the edge off. I was yelling; "forget the useless pain killers...numb me up! Give me an epidural!" I figured if it blocks the pain for women in labor... Yeah, apparently that's not an option for a kidney stone ;) The only thing that helped me in any way - was walking. As soon as I'd stop or lay down the pain would become unbearable but walking helped to ease it up a little. I hope you start feeling better soon! theshark8777 05-25-2008, 06:02 PM I am having pains right now they think is either from kidney stones or gall stones. 70s show watcher 05-26-2008, 12:50 AM Yes, and it was the worst pain i've had in my entire life.
