Unless you're thinking of Oba Chandler (who is now on Florida's death row for killing Joan 'Jo' Rogers and her daughters Michelle and Christie), the description you gave doesn't sound like anything that was on UM. I looked at episode synopses of FBI Files and Broken Trust sounds like the episode because the perps were also brothers that robbed people and killed them. This case was shockingly similar in nature to the Dan Short case, but different suspects.

More than likely, that case was never featured on UM. It just doesn't sound familiar. But I thought there was a remote chance that you were referring to Oba Chandler, since the degenerate finalized the deaths of Joan Rogers and her daughters by throwing them in the water. Also, the triple murder occurred in the south (namely Florida).

Of course, there were some differences between the Oba Chandler case and the one you described: Evidently, Oba Chandler was the loan killer and robbery was obviously not a motive.
