3. Phat Kracka - I DON'T CARE FOR HIS SINGING, BUT I LIKE HIM AS A PERSON. DON'T ASK WHY HE'S ABOVE SYESHA IN THIS THREAD AND NOT IN ''RANK THE TOP 3'' BECAUSE QUITE FRANKLY I HAVE NO IDEA. I GUESS THIS ONE ISN'T SO MUCH ABOUT THE VOICE BUT THE OVERALL CARE FOR THE PERSON. SO YEAH, I JUST LIKE HIM AS A PERSON, AND I LIKE TYPING IN CAPS WHEN TALKING ABOUT HIM. JOE KNOWS WHY.
4. Syesha - I love her voice, but that's it.
5. Carly - Again, I don't care for her voice but she seems like a sweet person so here she is. :)
6. Michael - He never wowed me, but again, likeable person and he really COULD sing when he picked good songs, just not my thing.
7. Chikezie - Good voice, for some reason I just enjoyed him.
8. Jason - Oh, Jason, what happened? :( In my original rankings, your name was 2nd on my list and in BOLD, along with Davey. My sexy luv..
9. Ramiele - Umm, not sure why I'm putting her here. I kinda liked some of her performances, actually, so that's why. :)
10. David Hernandez - UNDERRATED, but he picked a bad song and was eliminated. :( But he could SANG. Still, dropped so signficantly cause he had so few performances.
11. Brooke - LAWD HAMMERCY your run was anti-climatic. *falls asleep thinking about Brooke, then wakes up to finish this post*
12. Amanda - Ummmmmmmm you were just kinda there, looking back..

im bumping this since the season is over now. and im gonna do an IN-DEPTH RANKING!@ of everyone. i doubt anyone will read it cause its gonna be long as hayle but its fun to write anyway.

1. David Archuleta - OBVIOUSLY. i think he definitely had the best voice this season, and is one of the most talented male contestants ever. plus he is a hilarious, awesome person, and has a great personality. and everyone tells me i look and act like him lol. but yes. David Archuleta is awesome, and also better then you, and your crappy Season 7 favorite. he should've won. but i'm okay with him not winning, to be honest. he'll get more creative control, and i think he'll do fine. i hope he does too. i wish him the BEST. he's an awesome, hugely talented person and deserves success. if i were to make a list of the top 20 performances of the season, like...half of them would be from him. lol. and IMO, "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" = BEST.PERFORMANCE.OF.THE.SEASON. so yes. DAVID RULES. the only contestant who REALLY mattered this season in my eyes.

2. Kristy Lee Cook - during the semi-finals and early finals, i hated Kristy as much as everyone else did. admittedly, aside from "Faithfully", she was pretty bad in the semis, and "Eight Days a Week" also sucked. but after the mess that was "Eight Days a Week", Kristy started to improve greatly, and i started to like her a LOT more. it got to the point where she was my "secret second favorite" and aside from David, she was the only one who i actually cared about making it to the next week. "God Bless the USA" and "Anyway" definitely rank as two of the best performances of the season for me, and overall, Kristy is just awesome, no matter what your biased little mind may think.

3. Carly Smithson - i thought Carly was really overrated at first, back when they were calling her the next Kelly Clarkson and crap in the beginning of the season. her first two performances were just okay, but after "I Drove All Night" i started to think she was pretty good. then with "Come Together", IMO her best performance, i started to really like her, and that continued until she was eliminated. she has an awesome voice, and has a really nice, caring personality. she had a couple of bad performances ("Total Eclipse of the Heart", "The Show Must Go On") but overall i think she was really consistent and i think the judges underrated most of her performances. she was also robbed, and deserved to make top 4 at least. so yeah...i like Carly.

4. Brooke White - Brooke is mostly this high for 2 reasons - 1) i think her first four performances were excellent. "Love is a Battlefield" and "Let it Be" are in my top 20 performances of the season. and 2) i really like her personality, she seems like a sweet, caring person. having said that, after "Let it Be", she went on a downhill slide that she never really recovered from. she gave a few good/okay performances after that, like "You've Got a Friend" and "I Am, I Said", but nothing that matched her earlier performances. in fact, i would go as far as saying she lasted about a week too long, and if this was a totally unbiased list, she'd be 2 or 3 spots lower. but i can't help but really like Brooke for her personality and for the performances she gave early in the season, so she's fourth for me.

5. Syesha Mercado - Syesha definitely gets the award for biggest jump on my list, lol. i was indifferent on her in the semis, and didn't care for her at all during the finals until top 6 week, when she sang "One Rock and Roll Too Many". after weeks of bland performances that were vocally good but lacking in everything else, Syesha picked up her game that week and showed she COULD give an exciting performance. Syesha's upswing didn't end there - the next week (Neil Diamond week) she gave two great performances, and being unbiased, was probably the best that night overall. top 4 week, she gave two great performances yet again, one of which was IMO her best of the season - "A Change Is Gonna Come". so Syesha really grew on me - towards the end of her run, she really picked her game and became a contender, and i have to say, after it all, i like Syesha.

6. Michael Johns - Michael started off the season well, but he randomly started sucking at the end of the semis and during the beginning of the finals. he was originally in my top 4, but after those performances he fell to like...7th or 8th. lol. but then, top 10 week, he made the comeback of the season with "We Are the Champions", one of the best performances this season IMO, and was good again Dolly Parton week. unfortunately the next week, he went first, was just alright, and was wrongly eliminated. he'd probably be higher then 6th if he had lasted longer, but...he didn't. so sixth it is. :)

7. David Cook - to be honest i don't really care for his singing/performances at all. there were a few performances of his i liked, like "Billie Jean" and "Music of the Night", but for the most part i thought he was really overrated and his voice always sounds off-key to me lol. but the reason he's not lower then this is because of his personality...his interviews are always entertaining and he just seems like a nice, cool, down-to-earth guy. i think he's disgustingly overrated, but i think his personality is awesome, so here he is, at #7.

8. Jason Castro - i was kinda "meh" on Jason the entire season...and i still am. he had a few performances i really liked (like "Hallelujah" and "Travelin' Through") but for the most part, his performances all sounded the same for me, and he's just not really my "thing". i think he lasted 2-3 weeks too long, too. so...i don't really care for him that much, to be honest. i don't HATE him, but i don't like him either.

9. Chikezie - i didn't like Chikezie in the semis, but his two Beatles performances were great - very unique and entertaining. he seems like he has a fun personality too, and his mom is fricken AWESOME. if he had lasted longer and given more performances like his Beatles performances he probably would be higher, but again, he didn't, so i can't place him any higher then 9.

10. Ramiele Malubay - just like Syesha took the biggest jump on my list, Ramiele took the biggest fall. going into the top 12, she was my 3rd favorite. her first semi-final performance was really good...but that was it. her other two semi-final performances were okay, but all 4 of her performances in the finals (except for her last one which was okay) were mediocre. she had a lot of potential, but she chose horrible songs, and in the end wound up being a pretty weak contestant. definitely the most disappointing contestant this season.

11. David Hernandez - the biggest reason he's this low on my list is because compared to everyone else in the top 12, we saw very little from him. but i never really liked him that much either. he has a decent voice, but nothing about him stands out. aside from his *cough* past careers-LOL. so..yeah. whatever. here he is. dont care about him too much : o

12. Amanda Overmyer - im just gonna say shes an acquired taste. one that i will never aquire. lol. she's just not my thing, and she seemed like she didn't wanna be there, so she's last on my list.
