View Full Version : A Match For Wentworth AB 04-15-2008, 08:23 PM Which of the detectives would have been the best match for Wentworth in the dating department? catlover79 04-15-2008, 08:40 PM I still have to go with Wojo - their banter was classic. AB 04-15-2008, 08:51 PM Yep they make a good match, but could you see her dating any of the other detectives, like Harris, Chano, Levitt, Dietrich or even Scanlon or Luger? Would any of those be good match for her? OH Nuts! 04-15-2008, 09:15 PM Wojo & her really worked! LeeBlue 04-15-2008, 10:53 PM I liked Wentworth and Wojo together -- however it would have been fun to see Wentworth and Dietrich on stake-out together -- LOL. energy 04-16-2008, 04:01 AM Linda Lavin was so brilliant as Wentworth she could have dated any of them and made it work. But Luger would have been a stretch, though. catlover79 04-16-2008, 01:33 PM Wojo & her really worked! :yeahthat AB 04-16-2008, 05:53 PM I always wondered why they didn't pair her up with Chano. I think they would have made an interesting couple. But since they were both kind of "hyper", maybe it wouldn't have worked out too well. 137565 catlover79 04-26-2008, 10:47 PM I always wondered why they didn't pair her up with Chano. Just her being a woman was made into a very big deal at the time. There was another woman cop LaCurrie or something like that that came on later, but I think she was married? catlover79 04-28-2008, 06:05 PM It would have been considered an interracial romance and the network probably wouldn't have gone for it. I don't think ABC would've considered Chano & Wentworth a big deal. (Red-haired Barrie Youngfellow was Gregory Sierra's love interest on the short-lived AES Hudson Street, which also aired on the alphabet network.) Harris - now that's another story. AB 04-28-2008, 06:22 PM ^You know, I didn't even think about that. Back then it was more of big deal to date outside your race. catlover79 04-29-2008, 12:08 AM It would have been considered an interracial romance and the network probably wouldn't have gone for it. Her name was Roslyn Licori, played by Mari Gorman, and yes, she did have a jealous husband. She appeared in 3 episodes in the fourth season: "Wojo's Problem", "Hostage" and "Evaluation". |
