Ireneparalegal 03-31-2008, 05:25 PM Carmine & Shirley - LAVERNE & SHIRLEY
Kristen 03-31-2008, 10:10 PM Without a doubt, Tony and Angela. Although the final scene was nice, w/ Tony giving up his job in Iowa for her. But still, it would've been nice to see them make a formal commitment to each other. And I agree about Shirley/Carmine. That would've been too sweet. :)

That's why I find it hard to watch reruns of WTB , because we are denied that big payoff!
And the episode where Shirley wins the free wedding and then Carmine and her decide it isn't the right time......DA**!! :(

Why??????????????????????????? why did they deny us the chance to see Carmine and Shirley get married? *crying* :(
friendsfan77 04-01-2008, 12:46 AM As far as WTB? goes, from what's known, ABC wanted Tony and Angela to get married on the series finale, but Tony Danza and Judith Light didn't agree. I remember them saying on a special that they didn't want it to end that way.

I remember being so disappointed finding out how L&S ended. That would have been perfect closure for Shirley and Carmine.
Heather987 04-01-2008, 12:53 AM Pheobe and Joey - Friends
Dylan and Brenda - 90210

I remember them saying they were certainly okay with Tony and Angela getting together, but they didn't want the wedding.
Couch Potato 05 04-01-2008, 09:45 PM Billy & Alison - Melrose Place (they're both wusses so they're good 4 ea other)
Lorelai & Luke - Gilmore Girls (loved them together!)
Alex & Ellen - Family Ties (they married in real life, so that's even better)

Perfect indeed. The way Shirley was written off was horrible. One of the worst letdowns in television.

Dylan and Brenda - 90210
Regarding Dylan & Brenda, towards the end of the series, it was said that Dylan & Brenda were living together in England (or some European country), so I guess that's the closest they ever got to marriage.
snickers2 04-03-2008, 09:40 PM Alice and Sam ( The Brady Bunch)
Jude The Obscure 04-03-2008, 10:29 PM Alice and Sam ( The Brady Bunch)
We never saw the actual wedding--they did get engaged on TBB, but by the time of The Brady Girls Get Married, we learned that they indeed got married.
Furienna 04-05-2008, 02:23 PM mark and vanessa- hangin' with mr cooper

These are two good ones!
But just let me add Steve and Myra on "Family Matters". They should never have broken them up.
