TVFactFan 03-11-2008, 04:41 PM I have to lay in bed for 10-20 min, every morning, I can't get right out of bed, it's impossible.
anyone able to just JUMP right out of bed once they wake up from the alarm?
Hollow 03-11-2008, 04:48 PM depends on how much sleep i got. i haven't been able to for the last few weeks.
Courtnee 03-11-2008, 05:48 PM Psht, no. I hate getting up in the morning...but once I get up and around it's not so bad.
mc_light1202 03-11-2008, 06:38 PM I'm not a morning person so it doesn't matter how early I go to bed because i'll always linger.
Mikado 03-11-2008, 06:45 PM I used to have that problem, so I put the alarm clock in a place that I can't reach from the bed
Karen64 03-11-2008, 09:17 PM If it's my alarm clock that wakes me up, then no, I can never get right up.
If it's one of my kids calling or crying, then I'm able to pop right up...
InspectorExstead 03-11-2008, 09:36 PM i can get up right after my alarm goes off for all things except school. lol.
i just hate getting up for school. i'll usually reset my alarm clock & sleep for another five minutes. and then i'll wake up and ponder if it's even worth going to school. sleep another five minutes. and then i wake up. after i wash my face & brush my teeth though, i'm fine. lol.
BarneyFife 03-11-2008, 09:38 PM My ex g/f was a master at getting up when her alarm went off. Right when it first started to ring, she would jump up out of bed. It use to scare the hell out of me. I, on the other hand, have to hit my snooze button about 5 or 6 times. LOL
OH Nuts! 03-11-2008, 09:45 PM Not me. I lie there at least 15-20 minutes.
Brieannas21 03-11-2008, 10:36 PM I do
dawsongirl 03-11-2008, 10:52 PM anyone able to just JUMP right out of bed once they wake up from the alarm?
Aww, hell no. Hour, minimum. Every time I'm forced to hop out of bed, I feel awful.
I need to ease myself awake. I always hit the snooze button 3 times before I actually get up.
junecleaver 03-11-2008, 11:56 PM I used to have that problem, so I put the alarm clock in a place that I can't reach from the bed
My sister uses her cell phone as an alarm clock, and she does the same thing. The only problem is she is a hard sleeper and after like 30 minutes of the stupid thing ringing, I have to go in and turn it off because it woke ME instead of her

:lol:That must scare you out of your sleepiness too, that way you can't go back to sleep. i'd much rather have a lingering partner rather than a jump out of bed one.
robyrob 03-11-2008, 11:59 PM i usually get up 2 to 3 minutes before my alarm goes off.
Max Whittaker 03-12-2008, 12:44 AM In my old job I would enthusiastically jump out of bed every morning, be there an hour early. No problem getting up.
In my current job, when I'm required to wake up by alarm, I hit snooze several times, then I get up, sit on the floor, dazed staring at the floor or the wall. Sometimes there's some rocking back and forth involved.
It depends a great deal on how much I care about being at the place.
