"On Stage":
Ralph: "That shows how much you know about show business. You're always talking about something you don't know anything about. Just remember this: Gregory Peck was an usher at the Music Hall, you know, when they found him, and Kurt Douglas was a soda jerk. So, there's a chance for me."
Alice: "Sure, you can become an usher at the Music Hall or a soda jerk!"
"Funny Money":
Ralph: "Junk? Junk Junk? Just watch yourself Alice. This furniture was a wedding present from my grandfather."
Alice: "Yeah, to your grandmother."
"Better Living Through TV":
Ralph: "How much time would it take a man if he went about selling
these things (Handy Housewife Helpers) if he went from door-to-door?"
Alice: "About one minute if this was the first door he knocked on."
All from “The Match Game”:
#1
Ed: “I played football in Soldier's Field once. I was on the New York Sewerworkers team when they played the Chicago Sanitation Workers in the annual Garbage Bowl for charity.”
Ralph: “What charity?”
Ed: “Fresh Air Fund.”
#2
(Ralph is having a romantic dinner with Alice. Unbeknownst to Alice, Ralph has an ear piece in his ear. He is listening to a New York Jets/Oakland Raiders Game.)
Alice: “Who do you love Ralph?”
Ralph: “Joe Namath.”
#3
Ed: “Bronco Branagan, one of the greatest sewerworkers to play football for the sewerworkers team. He was All-Sewer four years in a row. He got his football career permanently ended when he got an injury no sewerworker ever recovers from.”
Ralph: “What is that?”
Ed: “Water on the knee.”
All from “Hero”:
#1
Tommy: “Did you see Mr. Kramden when he was a football star?”
Ed: “No, I was in Prep School at the time.”
#2
Tommy: “Mr. Kramden was a great end in football.”
Ed: “Great? He must have been the greatest end in the business.”
#3
(After Ed and later on Alice find out the fact that Ralph he lied to a little kind named Tommy about being a high school football star with the nickname “Snakehips”, Ed & Ralph have a chicken fight. Ralph said “Fins!” which ends the chicken fight. Later on.)
Ed: “Fins off.”
(Ed resumes the chicken fight much to Ralph’s surprise. Ralph ends up falling into the bedroom. Loud noises, such as a crashing noise, is heard. Alice walks out.”
Ed: “Alice, what happened?”
Alice: “Ralph ‘Snakehips’ Kramden just crashed through for another touchdown.”
Ralph: "That shows how much you know about show business. You're always talking about something you don't know anything about. Just remember this: Gregory Peck was an usher at the Music Hall, you know, when they found him, and Kurt Douglas was a soda jerk. So, there's a chance for me."
