welcome to the board and I like your analytical skills-lol I brought this up before and like you said it's clearly seen in the opening that the building show only has 8 floors which never matched the number of floors mentioned on the show which is defintely another goof

Well I went to a Carbrini Green website and I counted the floors and I counted 16 floors, and if you include the basement it would be 17 floors.

That is fine, but remember, we are talking about the building that is in the opening credits--the viewers are assuming that the evans family resides in one of those highrise project building that is in the opening credits-

If you look at the building in the opening credits and then you look at the view outside the window in the Evans' apartment, you will see part of the apartment building. The buildings look the same.
