It is the one about the boy being lost in the rain or something. I remember it came out around 1990 when I was in junior high school. That would be 1990's "All I Want To Do Is Make Love To You", written by Mutt Lange. Here are the lyrics: It was a rainy night When he came into sight, Standing by the road, No umbrella, no coat. So I pulled up alongside And I offered him a ride. He accepted with a smile, So we drove for a while. I didn't ask him his name, This lonely boy in the rain. Fate, tell me it's right, Is this love at first sight? Please don't make it wrong, Just stay for the night. All I wanna do is make love to you Say you will You want me to All I wanna do is make love to you I've got lovin' arms to hold on to So we found this hotel, It was a place I knew well We made magic that night. Oh, he did everything right He brought the woman out of me, So many times, easily And in the morning when he woke all I left him was a note I told him I am the flower you are the seed We walked in the garden We planted a tree Don't try to find me, Please don't you dare Just live in my memory, You'll always be there All I wanna do is make love to you One night of love was all we knew All I wanna do is make love to you I've got lovin' arms to hold on to Oh, oooh, we made love Love like strangers All night long We made love Then it happened one day, We came round the same way You can imagine his surprise When he saw his own eyes I said please, please understand I'm in love with another man And what he couldn't give me Was the one little thing that you can All I wanna do is make love to you One night of love was all we knew All I wanna do is make love to you Say you will, you want me to All night long All night long All night long All night long Nighthawk76 08-10-2008, 12:06 AM ^ Yep, that's the one. :) I'm not surprised to see that Mutt Lange wrote it. That man is a genius. catlover79 08-10-2008, 12:07 AM I have to admit that my favorite Mutt Lange song is "Do You Believe In Love" performed by Huey Lewis & the News. Nighthawk76 08-10-2008, 12:10 AM I have to admit that my favorite Mutt Lange song is "Do You Believe In Love" performed by Huey Lewis & the News. I didn't know that he wrote that one either. Even though I do not like Huey Lewis, I do like that song. I remember writing a story in 1998 called "Falling For Amy" in which I actually used a few lyrics from that song. catlover79 08-10-2008, 12:12 AM You really do learn something new every day! Nighthawk76 08-10-2008, 12:13 AM You really do learn something new every day! I like to think so. Nighthawk76 08-10-2008, 10:56 PM Martina - Martina McBride catlover79 08-10-2008, 10:58 PM The Very Best of the Eagles Nighthawk76 08-11-2008, 11:07 PM Children of the World - the Bee Gees Three Lock Box - Sammy Hagar mrs.gingerhinkley 08-12-2008, 11:41 AM Mamas and Papas Greatest Hits -Mamas and Papas Nighthawk76 08-12-2008, 03:46 PM Eagles Greatest Hits Volume 2 catlover79 08-12-2008, 04:00 PM Best of Duets catlover79 08-12-2008, 11:41 PM Peter Frampton: Classics catlover79 08-13-2008, 11:42 AM Close To You - Carpenters Nighthawk76 08-14-2008, 11:53 PM Three Lock Box - Sammy Hagar The Doors- the Doors Staying Alive soundtrack AB 08-15-2008, 06:04 PM Greatest Hits - Neil Young catlover79 08-15-2008, 07:56 PM Music - Carole King PlayOn 08-16-2008, 05:23 AM the road and the radio- kenny chesney Schmoopie 08-16-2008, 06:22 AM Tourism by Roxette catlover79 08-16-2008, 10:19 AM Best of Simon & Garfunkel Steve M. 08-16-2008, 11:20 PM Family - BBC Radio Volume 1 (1968 - 1969) Family - BBC Radio Volume 2 (1971 - 1973) Rush - Permanent Waves the Beatles' "white album" AB 08-17-2008, 04:53 PM The Best of the Moody Blues catlover79 08-17-2008, 08:36 PM Working Class Hero - The Definitive Lennon Nighthawk76 08-17-2008, 09:37 PM Bee Gees: The 60's Collection Mozart's Greatest Hits Smokey Robinson: The Solo Anthology Tunnel of Love - Bruce Springsteen catlover79 08-17-2008, 09:54 PM ^ The Bee Gees' 60s Collection is a good one. They really did sound/write a lot like the Beatles back in those days - not that it's a bad thing! Nighthawk76 08-17-2008, 10:47 PM ^ The Bee Gees' 60s Collection is a good one. They really did sound/write a lot like the Beatles back in those days - not that it's a bad thing! I think on the 60's Collection they sounded more like the Everly Brothers than the Beatles. As I mentioned in my other post, I enjoyed the CD but found the songs to be a little too bubble gumish if you know what they mean. The songs also lacked the more sophisticated songwriting of their post 1967 music.
