January 2, 2008 -- WITH the race for the White House heating up, what's one more candidate thrown into the mix? No, it's not the Independent front runner you think it is . . . It's Springfield's own Ralph Wiggum, son of Police Chief Clancy Wiggum.

During "The Simpsons" episode Sunday night, the people of Springfield enter Ralph into the election after they have rejected the other primary candidates.
