I must apologize for my error. Oldfriend is correct, She isn't Bobby Sherman's sister. I had read that in an old issue of Tiger Beat & I later found out that she played his sister in Getting Together. I would read it again to see what I missed but I sold that issue on ebay.

I believe Susan attended Immaculate Heart College in Hollywood in the late 1970s.

For those of us who've long wondered whatever became of Susan Neher (she goes by Suzanna these days), this newsletter article from August 2014 offers a brief mention of her child acting career and a picture

She also played the middle daughter of 3 in John Forsythe's 1969-71 CBS sitcom, To Rome with Love, which got her on the cover of TV Guide with John Forsythe and her "sisters" for the June 20, 1970 issue:

She has very short hair in the cover picture.

She was also Lana in an episode of Family Affair. Lana apparently went to hairdressing school at her tender age, given how professionally and elaborately she styles Buffy's hair.

Hairstyling disaster. What was worse than the styling was that Buffy actually liked it...!

Not necessarily, there are many things that could've caused her death. However I certainly wouldn't rule them out.

I think, had she made it to the main series, Susan's Joanie would have been scripted and performed differently to what we got in real history.

Susan was more of a normal beauty than Erin. Erin's looks would also be badly affected as the series entered its final years by tobacco and booze (which of course also caused the cancer that killed her in 2017).
