This is called "Packages, Packages" and it centers around Mrs.Garrett.This is supposed to be in the Over Our Heads era....here goes nothin!
Mrs.g (walking into the shop): Hey, girls, are any of you expecting a package?(there is a package lying outside the door)
Tootie: (from the living room) No!
Blair: (from living room) me niether!
Jo: (from living room) I wasn't expecting anything.Nat's gone and I dont' think she has anything coming in the mail.f
MRs.G: OK!Thanks girls! (Goes ove to the package and picks it up.She starts to open it and suddenly the camera is again on "the girls" in the living room and there hear an explosion.)
Blair:What was that?
Jo: I don't know, but I think we better go find out!
Tootie: (as they're running into the shop) Mrs.Garrett what.....(there is a HUGE fire in the shop and no sign of Mrs.Garrett)(Tootie turns to Jo and Blair) Where is she?
Jo: I dont' know!
BLair: WE gotta get out of here before they can't find us either!
Tootie: But Mrs.Garrett!!
Jo: Tootie, go with Blair, I'll look for MRs.G.
Tootie: BUT.........................
Jo:JUST GOOOO!
Tootie: FINE!!
BLair: Good luck, Jo!You gotta find her!
Jo: thanks, Blair, I hope I do!
(Blair and Tootie leave)

"Come on Jo" Jo said to herself as she was dodging some flames looking for Mrs.Garrett."You gotta find her." Jo was trying as hard as she could to find Mrs.Garrett, but with the fire gettting worse, she could only go so far into the shop.She heard Blair and Tootie yell "MRS.GARRETT!!"She immeadiately whispered a prayer of thanks.By now, she was coughing and knew she had to get out, so she turned and RAN!

To Jo, because she couldn't SEE Mrs.Garrett, Blair and Tootie's cry of "Mrs.Garrett!"was a relief, but to Blair and Tootie, it was a cry of horror.There had been an explosion from the package that had blown Mrs.Garrett across the street.Blair and Tootie were horrified, and crying by the time Jo arrived. They were frantically screaming for someone to call an ambulance, because she was also badly burnt. They were still crying hysterically when the ambulance arrived. So, Jo suggested they go home and wait for Natalie and Jo would go with Mrs.Garrett. They very reluctantly agreed.

Well, I dont' have anymore written, but before I put all of myself into it...do you want more? or shoudl I forget it?BTW Jo will have a BIG part...if that makes a difference.

okay, so it's not the best start ever..I needed a crisis......there are never any problems liek this with Mrs.G.....those crisis moments are the ones that really bring out "the moments" like the mushy moments.Oh yea.....It wasn't intened to blow up Mrs.Garrett, but you'll find out about that later(if people want me to continue)!Anyone else got any gripes or compliments?

Thanks for the replies!BTW, "tootieismyfav" dont' judge the rest of the fan fics on the board by this one cuase I'm a really bad writer....ESPECIALLY compared to Panda Bear and ummm ohh what's her name!(LOL!) Jo jumped into the ambulance and it took off, leaving blair and Tootie as well as many bystanders in the street.Blair and Tootie embraced with tears streaming dow their faces.

Meanwhile, Jo is in the ambulance with Mrs.Garrett and the paramedics. Jo is trying her best to hold back tears.
Paramedic#1: (to Jo)You okay?
Jo: Yea what's it to ya?
Paramedic#1:Well, seeing as how those other girls and you looked like pretty good friends, and they were devastated, I thought maybe you were even more frightened that you couldn't cry.
Jo:It won't help to cry.
Paramedic#1: I tmight. How is she related to you?
Jo: She's not...
Paramedic#1: she's not? I figured she was your mother or something!
Jo:Well, it's a long story, but she practically raise me.
Paramedic#2:She looks pretty bad
JO: How bad?
Paramedic#2: she might not make it.

At that, Jo completely lost it and started crying.Not just a little, she was hysterical.They took Mrs.Garrett in as fast as they could with Jo following close behind.As they waited for a doctor, Jo regained her composer and talked to Mrs.Garrett.As she prayed for a miracle.

Doctor: Ok, I’ve looked at the charts and I’ve made my diagnosis, but I’d like to ask you some questions.
JO: She can’t really talk much.
Doctor: DON’T worry, these are yes or no questions!
Jo: oh…
Doctor: Do you feel pain?
Jo: Does she feel pain? What kind of question is that? She was just blown across the street and burnt really badly. Don’t you think she feels pain!?
Doctor: Oh, excuse me, are you the doctor?
Jo: No…
Doctor: then can I ask the questions?
Jo: Just no more stupid ones
Doctor: right, okay, Edna, do you feel pain?
Mrs. G: Yes.
Doctor: where is it mostly?
Mrs. G: My arms.
Doctor: Okay, Well, we’ll need to keep you here a few days…
Jo: when you say a few, how many exactly do you mean?
Doctor: Oh, a week, maybe two…
Jo: A WEEK?!
Doctor: a week. (leaves)
Jo: Mrs. G, will you be okay while I get Blair, Natalie, and Tootie?
Mrs. G: Sure!
(Jo leaves)
Jo didn’t know what to think on the way home. How could this happen to Mrs. Garrett? Why did it have to have to be Mrs. Garrett? Most importantly, was she going to be okay? Who sent that package? Little did Jo know the questions that could be answered…soon would be!
Jo: ( in the living room with the girls, except Nat) come on, let’s go see Mrs. G.
Blair: Jo, what’s up?
Jo: (annoyed) Nothing much, Blair, only that Mrs. Garrett is hurt, really bad. Do you think that could be important?!
Blair: I meant, how bad is she?
Jo: (very serious) They said she had to stay a week, maybe two. She’s burnt pretty bad, but she can still feel the pain so maybe it’s not as bad as it looks.
Jo, of course, was lying through her teeth when she said that maybe it wasn’t as bad as it looked. She thought it was horrible, and that it was much worse than it looked. She couldn’t’ let Blair and Tootie know though, she was stronger when she had to be… and once they saw her they would just break down so Jo knew she HAD TO be STRONG. Although, the doctor seemed encouraged, Jo had little hope.
Then there was a knock at the door. The girls were all scared about the whole package ordeal so they just stared at each other for a moment.
Jo: somebody’s gotta get it.
Blair: What if it’s another package?
Tootie: Jo, get the door.
Jo: You guys are such wimps. ( opens the door, there is a package on the ground) ( SLAMS the DOOR)
Blair: Package?
Jo: Package…


I'll keep ya in suspense...it's not much....but I hope you liek it...the next part is REALLY IMPORTANT!I'm sorry to keep you waiting, but It's just that I'm directing a christmas program and it's getting very hectic!I'll post more ASAP though!

Tootie: okay, there was an explosion a lot of fire and Mrs.G is at the hospital.

BLair: Nat, why would we lie to you abotu this?

Natalie was absolutely crushed.Why Mrs.Garrett?Mrs.Garrett was always Natalie's best friend.(Besides Tootie of course)She was always there for Natalie.Natalie ran outside, got into her car and was on a drive.She started crying.She thought about all the things that MRs.Garrett had done for her.She kept thinking about Mrs.Garrett.Natalie was a natural worrier, and she was worrying so much about Mrs.Garrett, that she was making herself sick.she knew she had to go see Mrs.Garrett, but she didn't know how she would take it.so she turned around and drove to the hospital, not quite ready and not quite prepared for what she was worried would happen.

Nat: yea.........(she starts to feel tears well up in her eyes so she doesn't say anything else)

"Mrs. Garrett will be furious." Nat thought. "How am I going to tell her? She'll be so disappointed!" a few mintues later she gained courage and said, "Well, it's now or never, and as Mrs. Garrett once said, the SOONER the BETTER!"

Nurse: You can't see anyone now.
(by this time they are to Mrs. Garrett's room so Nat just walks in.)
Mrs. G: NATALIE?!What are you doing here?
Nurse: You have to leave.
Nat: WOULD YOU SHUT UP?!
Mrs. G: I'm feeling up to company REALLY!She can stay.
Nurse: HMPH. (rolls eyes and leaves)
Mrs. G: Again I say, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?
Nat: (sarcastically)I'm looking for one of the "Golden Girls".....WHAT DO YOU THINK I'm DOING?!I came to see you!
