Ok...this is my first fic.

It was a Wednesday morning in The Bronx as Rose Polniaczek fixed her coffee while trying to get ready for work.
R: Jo get up! I m not gonna come to anymore parent, principal, teacher conferences discussing your tardiness, and cutting classes, and truincy.
She goes back to fixing her coffee and begins to read the paper. She puts it down when she notices that it is time for her to leave for work. As she grabs her coat and heads for the door, she gives one final holler for her daughter to wake up, then walks out the door. While walking the 1/4 mile to the nearest bus stop she takes a look at her surroundings wishing that she could have brought her daughter up in a better area. Jo was fine until her father was arrested. Sometimes Rose thought that her husband who was never home had more influence on their daughter then she did. She finally got to the bus stop to go to a day of hard work and to get a little more money in her pocket.
Jo Polniaczek didn't wake up till noon due to the fact that she was out till 4 in the morning with the Young Diablos. She got up and found something to eat, got dressed, and was about to sit down in front of the tv till her friend Jessie started knocking at the apartment door.
Je:I knew you were gonna ditch today.
J:Well I didn't get in till 4 o' clock. Of all days for them to trim the trees it was yesterday. It took me an hour to get up the tree.
Je:Why didn't you just sneak in the front door?
J:Ya think I didn't try that? It was locked, and I wasn't gonna knock. Anyways why did u come over?
Je:O Eddie was looking for u.
J:Really?
Je:Uh huh, he told me to tell u to meet him at the diner.
J:Ya think he couldn't come here for himself?
Je:I was coming over here anyway, so he asked me to ask u.
J:Ok, well, tell him I will be over there in a sec.
Je:Ay, I ain't no delivery girl. Just go over there.
Jessie left and Jo walked around the apartment turning off the coffee pot and her mother's iron. She then grabbed her motorcycle helmet and keys, and headed out the door. When she finally reached the diner she saw Eddie waiting outside. She parked her bike then walked to the front.
J:Hi Eddie
E:Hey Jo
They share a short kiss and then walk inside the diner.
Person:How many?
E:2
Person:Shouldn't u be in school.
J:It's a holiday, now just give us our seats, or else.(she holds up her fist)
Person:Fine Fine, right this way.
They walk to their table and get two very crummy menus.
J:Everything looks so good I can't decide what to get(sarcasticly)

W:I'm Kirk, your waiter, whadya want to get I don't got all day.
He took their orders and menus and left again.
E:Uh Jo
J:Yeah
E:I have something I need to tell u
J:Spill
E:Well I am, um, joining the, um, Navy.
J:Uh huh(realizes what he just said)You're what?
E:Listen Jo-
J:No, u said u were joining the navy, there is nothing more to say.
She starts to stand up and Eddie tries to stop her but she pushes his hand off her and storms out of the diner. She gets on her bike and rushes out of the parking lot back to her apartment not looking behind her.

Ok here is a little more. Thx for all the replies.
As Jo walked into the apartment she slammed the door behind her and threw her keys on a chair. She sat down on the couch about ready to cry.
J:Why is he joining the Navy?
Just then the phone rang. She walked over and picked it up.
J:What?
E:Jo I-
Jo hung up the phone and sat down on the couch. She was sitting for 2 sec. before the phone rang again.
J:Look I hung up on u 5 seconds ago. Don't u get the picture I don't want to talk.
R:Excuse me
J:Mom, hey.
R:Why aren't u in school.
J:Uh, well ya see, um-
R:Jo this has to stop. I can't have u continually skip school.
J:Uh huh
R:Were u even listening to me?
J:Huh? O yeah, ya said stuff bout skippin school.
R:Right, well, we'll talk when I get home. I should be home around 8:30-9.
J:Right ma.
R:BTW...who did u just hang up on 5 seconds ago.
J:O nobody.
R:Um hmm. I'll see u when I get home. Bye honey.
J:Bye ma.
She hung up the phone. She decided she was going to ride her bike to Jessie's. She could talk to her about how Eddie is such a jerk. Just as she was walking out the door the phone rung again.
J:sighs
She walks over and picks up the phone.
J:What do u want?
E:Jo please, just let me talk to u.
J:Why should I?
E:Please Jo just hear me out.
J:Fine...ya wanna come over here?
E:Ok, I'll be there in 15 min.
J:Fine, bye
She hangs up the phone even before he has the chance to say bye. It was the longest 15 min. of her life. She paced back and forth. She kept on picking up her keys deciding to leave or not, then puts them back down. She was even tempted to climb out her window but she stayed. Just as she was about ready to walk out the door, her doorbell rang. It took her a minute to decide whether or not to even let him in. In the end she decided that she would let him in because maybe what he had to say would make her feel better. Maybe.

E:Ok, well school hasn't always been my thing so I have been thinking about dropping out forever. I have also wanted to join the Navy. So I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. Join the Navy, drop out of school. You don't even need a high school diploma to join. Afterward I will go into computers.
J:But why? I mean I thought u loved me. Now u r leaving me to join the Navy.
E:Jo there were tons of reasons for me to leave...but only one for me to stay.
J:W-What was that reason?
E:You.
J:Really?
E:Yea Jo...I really care about you.
J:I care about you too. I'm sorry about leaving you at the diner.
E:It's ok. (kisses her)
J:kisses back
Thet lay there on the couch together. Talking; when he was leaving, would he keep in touch, stuff like that. It is now 8:30 and Jo is so caught up in her conversation that she doesn't notice the time.
J:I love u Eddie.
E:I love you 2.
The start kissing again...really passionately(sp) they don't notce that Mrs. Polniaczek walked through the door.
R:Jo!!!
J:Ma! Um hi!
R:We have a lot to talk about I can see. Who is this?
J:O this is Eddie. Eddie, Ma...Ma, Eddie.
E:Hi Mrs. Polniaczek.
R:Eddie, I think you need to leave.
E:Well...ok. I'll see you tommorow Jo.
Eddie walks out the door.
R:Jo, I can't believe u. Skipping school to be with Eddie...and then have me come home to this; you two making out on my sofa?!?!
J:We weren't making out...we were just kissing...a lot.
R:Um hmm. Jo I don't kno what I'm gonna do with u.
J:Let's just forgive and forget?!
R:Nope...I told you last time you got in trouble...last week...that that was your last chance.
J:Come on ma.
R:No...I don't kno what my solution will be yet...but I will kno in the morning. You might want to be going to bed now. You r going to school in the morning.
J:Fine!
She leaves and walks into her room. She got in her bed, set her alarm for midnight, then went to bed.

I m really happy wit myself b/c I finally thought of some more. Sorry guys for the delay.

She got on her motorcycle and began to ride around trying to keep her mind off the days events. She drove down an alley and saw a small bar. She walked in and showed the guy at the door her faked ID.
Bartender: What do u want?
J:Beer

J:I don't care
He gives her a beer and then starts to talk to her.
Ba:Ya know...you look a little young
J:Mmhmm
Ba:Are you sure you're 18(i decided to use the age for drinking in the 1980's)
J:Yes I am sure I am 18::getting irritated::
Ba:Because yo-
J:Shut up!!!
Ba: Fine...geez
She has about 3 more beers and then leaves. She is walking towrards(sp) her bike in the alley and passes out.

Here is some more...sorry it isn't that much.
It had been about an hour since Jo had passed out when a worker at the bar came out to put trash in a dumpster. As he starts to walk back into the bar and he notices a figure laying on the ground.
E: Hello?
No response
E: Hello?
He walked over to the figure and saw that it was a girl. He gasped...she had a streak of blood going across her forehead. He ran back inside, picked up the phone, and dialed 911.
911: Hello 911 state your emergency.
E: Hello, I work at the Right Corner Bar(corny I kno) and I found a girl outside...she appears to be unconcious. She has a streak of blood across her forehead.
911: Ok we will send an ambulance over right away, in the mean time stop the bleeding by applying pressure.
E: Thank you
He hung up the phone, grabbed a rag, and went outside. He pressed the rag against her forehead and waited for the ambulance to come.
The ambulance finally came 5 minutes later. They got out a stretcher, put Jo on, and drove away. The worker watched the ambulance drive away then he walked back into the bar.

In the ambulance:
EMT: Ok she is breathing...
EMT2: She's gonna need stiches for her head...we need to get her to the hospital fast before she looses to much blood.
EMT http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gifYells to the driver) Can we pick up the pace...she is starting to bleed more.
D: We are stuck in traffic...there has been an accident and there are ambulances on the side of the road...another 1/4 mile and we can start going faster.
EMT: Fine...but hurry
EMT2: Her breathing is slowing
EMT: Should we start CPR?
EMT2: Not yet...we might have to if we don't get there quickly.
D: Ok...we are able to pick up speed...we should be there in 3 min.
EMT: Ok...how is her breathing?
EMT2: It is still the same...she should be fine till we get her to the hospital.
D: Speaking of the hospital...we are here...let's get her out!
EMT: (Opens the doors and gets her out)
EMT2: We need to get her in...FAST!
They wheeled the stretcher into the ER.
DR: What happened?
EMT: She was found behind a bar...she was already unconcious...we don't kno how long she has been out.
DR: Do we kno who she is?
EMT: I have kno idea what so ever.
DR: Does she have a wallet or something?
EMT: She might...we didn't look
DR: Ok...we will see, I have to get in there
EMT's walk away
3 am
Rose Polniaczek awakes to the sound of the phone ringing.
R: Hello?
N: Hello...is this the home of Joanna Pol..nia...ka...zek?
R: Yes
N: This is a nurse from the Memorial Hospital...your daughter is here...we need you to come down
R: Omg, is she ok?
N: We don't have any information on her yet but we should by the time you get down here.
R: Ok (hangs up the phone)
Walks into her bedroom and gets on some clothes. She then grabs her house keys and walks to the bus stop. While she is walking...she starts to cry.

N:May I help you?

N: She is in the ER still, I think she is getting stitches...she didn't need any blood and she should be fine. I will tell you when you can see her.

She walks into the waiting room and sits down. She was like her daughter in the fact that she HATED hospitals. She closed her eyes and began to fall asleep but she was awoken to the sound of a DR.
Dr:Pol-ni-ca-zek?
R:Yes?
Dr:Your daughter is fine...she has 10 stitches in her head. Um...she fell over behind a bar...she had been drinking...

Dr:Uh...yes...we found alcohol in her blood...uh...she is in room 1132 so you can go see her.
R:Thank You*she says automatically*
Rose walks to an elevator and hits the 11 button. Drinking?!?! How could she! She walked off the elevator and looked around for room 1132. She finally found the room and hesatated(sp?) before she walked in.

She walks into the room and to her luck Jo was asleep. She looked at her daughter's head and couldn't believe that her daughter had been drinking. She sat down in a sit and tried to think what she would say.

More later...that part sucked...I will try to finish it up in a couple more posts! I promise that I will post more this weekend!

3 hours later Jo woke up to her mom asleep next to her. It took her a second to recognize where she was but when she found out she shuttered. Man she hated hospitals. Her mother woke up to the movement of her daughters body.

Very good so far! Good prequal to FoL season 2. One question about Jo/Nancy; If one is to believe the year of birth on her bio's she was 14 when she first appeared on FOL. This is a full 3 years younger then Lisa and they played characters who were the same age. An amazing feat for a 14 year old girl if you ask me!

20 minutes later Mrs Polniaczek came back into the room.

R:Well, I do need to go to work...so I am going to go back to the house and gt ready ot go. Do you need anything?

R:Ok...well uh, just relax, watch some tv, get some rest, and I will come back here this evening. *She turns towards the door* And Jo-

R:You better be here when I get back, we have some matters to discuss when we get back home. I'll see you after work.
J: Uh huh
Rose walks out of the room. Jo is exhausted and she is suffering from a hangover so she goes back to sleep. When she wakes back up she finds that it is already 1:30 in the afternoon and she is starved.
J:Ya think that they would bring me some food.
It was another half hour till she was brought a very unappealing meal.
J:Ick...this is supposed to be food
N:Yes...it is from the cafeteria
J:Ya think that since I was waiting foreva they would at least have decent food.
The nurse just looked at her and walked out the door. Jo ate a couple bites of her food...enough to relieve the hunger burning in her stomach...but that was it. It tasted just as bad as it looked.
Jo flipped on the tv to see some game shows, a soap, a little kids show, and an infomercial. She settled on watching the game show. Just as the 3rd contestant lost $100 she heard a knock on the door and it opened. Eddie stood in the doorway.

Jo could no longer hold back the tears. She cried for Eddie, she cried for her mother, she cried for what she had done, and she cried and cried until she fell asleep.

Jo REALLY didn't want to go home...she knew how the evening was gonna be...screaming, yelling, punishing...not fun!! She looked out the single window and down the 4 stories and not seeing NEthing she could lean on...so if she climbed out the window it would be down 4 stories to the hard pavement. She decided to just go back to her apartment and await what punishment would come to her.

Hey Guyz...I m sick today so I decided to add some more!!

Jo arrived back at the apartment only minutes before her mother. She looked around her apartment...in her room...trying to figure out how she turned out this way...getting in trouble here and there. Her father she began to think...it is all his fault! Seconds later the door knob began to twist open as Rose Polniaczek stood in the doorway. She took off her coat and stared at Jo with such disbelief in her eyes that burned through Jo and she couldn't take it!

R: Jo...I m so disappointed in you and your decisions that you have made ever since your father left!

They hug and all and spend the rest of the night watching old movies on tv and ordering pizza. Sure that once Jo goes to school there won't be as much family around.

J: *mumbling* Which locker is mine??? It is either 109...91...901...or is it 336...no that was gym...in 6th grade...um...109?? That's it!
She walked over to the 100's locker section. She stopped in front of locker 109...that was her locker...it still had the Yankees symbol she carved in the door. She looked at the lock on the door.
J: Geez...what was that combination?? 35-0-9...5-3-9...9-30-5...geez...what was it???
She was able to finally "get the lock open"(;) ) She pulled out a math book...she was pretty sure that was what her first class was. She walked into the class and looked at the somewhat familiar faces...she was more than suprised to see Jessie sittin in the back row. She made her way to the back row.
J: What r u doing here?
Je: My paroll officer began to get on my case...no biggie...
J: O...whussup?
Je: Nothin much...why are you here?
J: O...eva since my lil...uh...incident my mom got on my case.
Je: O...what do'ya think she will do to you
J: She wants to ship me off to Girls Town...some boarding skool
Je: A boardin skool...with like rich people?

Here is some more for you peoplez:)

The first part of the day for Jo was extremely boring...kind of like the first day of skool...no one knew who she was with the exception of some friends...and enemies.
Later that day she was in the hall with Jessie and some members of another gang that were ALWAYS at it with the Young Diablos came up to them.
Je: O...well look who it is?
Mem1: Go get a life Jessie(this is a male member)
Jo is just standing there...she knew it would definetely not go well with her mother by getting in a gang fight today of all days.
Je: Don't tell me to get a life...I have one...obviously u don't.
Mem1: *raises fist* Don't start with me Jessie
Je: Ya wanna fight? *gets ready to punch him out*
J: Jessie...
Mem2: Shut up Jo! (female)
J: Don't tell me to shut up u blond blimp!
Mem2: That's it! *punches Jo in the face*

They start a whole big fight...and somehow Jessie and the other guy begin to fight also. It took 10 minutes for the fight to finally be broken up. (Lizzie...I kno Mrs G wouldn't like fighting...but she hasn't met her yet so...) Once 3 teachers finally split the gangsters up they took them to the office with them to get first aid and yelled at...

Ok...here's some more!!!

The principal yelled at the four students while the nurse bandaged them up. Jessie had a black eye and a bloody nose. The two people that were the members of the other gang both had a black eye and a bloody lip...the one Jo was fighting with also had a bloody nose and a VERY swollen cheek. Jo had a black eye and a huge bruise on her right cheek. Two of her stiches were torn out and both her lip and nose were bloody.
Principal: Fighting in the hallway? And this wasn't some lil fist fight...this was a BIG fight. *He looked at Jo* You should probably have someone look at your stiches.
J: Mmmmhmmm
P: What do u have to say for yourself?
Mem1: We won!
Je: In your dreams *rolls eyes*
Mem1: Watch it!
P: HEY! Quit it you two!
Walks over to his desk and looks through a file
P: The punishment for this kind of fight is one week suspension...after you serve the suspension time you will have to undergo a month of detention.
J: A month?!?! I didn't even start it!! *glares at the female gang member*
Mem2: *rolls eyes* Get over it
J: Whateva...can I leave?
P: You have to wait for your parents to arrive.
J: You called my mom?
P: Of course...we always have to call the parent or guardian of the student when they get into a fight.
As Jo sits there for her mother to arrive she knows how her mother's face will register when she sees Jo...a mix of sadness, disappointment, and anger towards her daughter. As Jo stared at the clock for the next half hour she began to think that her mother may not have been able to get off work. Luck was not on her side today...obviously...10 minutes later her mother walked through the door. And Jo was right...she had predicted EXACTLY how her mother's face looked.

LOL about the tissues! I actually had Pizza Hut pizza for dinner last night! LOL....about meeting ya at Pizza Hut though! J: I'm coming...bye Jessie...can you take my bike home for me?

Jo and her mother walk out of the building
R: I can't believe you Jo!! *she began make her way to the bus stop*
J: Mom!! I didn't even start it!!!
R: Yes, well how do you explain that girl's face...it's not like you didn't not fight back!
J: True...but I wasn't just gonna let her punch me out!!!
They finally get to the bus stop, get on the bus, and make there way toward the back.
R: There are people on the bus...we'll discuss this at home.
J: Whateva ma...
R: And don't use that tone of voice with me!
J: Fine! Are you gonna get me some medical help...*points to her face*
R: Of course! We could have just walked home...why do you think we got on the bus?
J: Ok! *looks out the window for the rest of the bus ride*

When Jo her mother finally got to the hospital they made there way through the doors and went up to the front desk.
N: Hello! How may I help you?
R: Hi...my daughter got into a fist fight and we were hoping someone could take a look at her. She had some stiches that came out and as you can see...her face is a mess.
N: Ok...we have a lot of patients today and are waiting for some more doctors that were on call to come in so when we can take her we will call you. Do you think she REALLY needs to see a doctor or can she wait for a little.
R: I think she can wait.
N: Ok...we will try and be with you as quickly as possible. What is her name?
R: Joanna Polniaczek.
N: Ok...we will see your daughter when our time permits.
Rose makes her way to her daughter who is already sitting in the waiting room.
J: Well?
R: It will probably be a little while before they can take you.
J: O great...so I just have to wait here.
R: I guess. I am going to take a short nap. Wake me up when it is time for them to take you.
J: Whateva.
Jo flips through a magazine while her mother sleeps.
J: They need a biker magazine *she muttered* Who cares about the how to apply nail polish with staying power?
She leaned back in her chair and looked around the room at all the sick poor helpless people.
J: People are dying in this hospital *she thought* This is disgusting. There better not be any needles around me. I am gonna be sick. Ok...breath in...breath out. Better...
She looked around the room and noticed a little kid looking at her at the moment less then attractive face.
J: Do you mind not staring at me?
The little kid ran over the his mom and buried his face in her jacket.
J: *rolled eyes*
Jo was about to fall asleep when...
N: Polniaczek, Joanna Polniaczek?
J: Yea *stood up* Ma...*gently nodging her mother trying to get her up*
R: Hmmm?
J: I'm going back...r u gonna come.
R: O yes honey...*stood up* Ok...I'm ready.
They made there way to the nurse and followed her into a room.
N: If you will just wait here the doctor will be with you shortly.
R: Thank you.
Rose sits on a available chair and Jo hops onto the table. A doctor came into the room, apparently in a hurry, since it was such a busy day.
D: Joanna Polniaczek...we meet again *he said not looking up since he was looking at his files*
J: Do I kno you?
D: No...not personally...I was one of your doctors the other night when you came in here for illegal drinking and passing out. The only reason I remember you is because you have the hardest last name in the entire world to spell and pronounce.
J: Well that's nice...but can you help me here?
D: Of course *notices Rose* O...Hello...I m Dr. Kayland...you must be her mother *looks at file* Rose?
R: O yes...*shakes hand with the Doctor* So...does she look alright?
D: Well first of all I would like to ask you to leave...I tend to like to work with my patients on a one on one basis. I will have a nurse come to get you when it is time. She looks fine...we would just have to fix her stiches and clean up her face a bit.
R: Ok...well...I'll see you in a little *leaves the room*(Sry...for making her leave people...I just didn't want to have to figure out how to incorporate her in the talk with the doctor)
D: Ok...now Joanna-
J: Jo...it's Jo
D: Ok...Jo...what happened?
J: O...just a lil fist fight....nothin to worry about!
D: Uh huh...then explain the looks of your face *grabs her jawbone and turns her face slowly side to side*
J: *hits his hand off her face with a brush of her hand*
D: *steps back* Looks like you have some nasty bruises.
J: Yea...I kno.
D: What does the other person look like?
J: Practically as bad as me
D: Mmmhmm...and what does fighting solve *he asked writing in his file*
J: Ya kno what...u r a doctor...not a guidance person or whateva...so take your notes...fix my face...but don't give me a test!
D: Ok...but promise me...I don't wanna see you in here tomorrow!
J: Whateva...can you fix me now?
D: Yes...we will have to go to another room. Lemme go tell your mother where we will be and I will come back to get you. I won't bother bringing a stretcher or anything. *leaves room*
Comes back 5 minutes later.
D: Ready?
J: Yea *hops off the table*
She follows him out of the room to an examining room.
J: *lays on the table so the doctor can work on putting her stiches back in.*
D: Your cut in your lip is pretty bad...I'll put some stiches there also.
J: Ok...
10 minutes later the numbing medicine began to kick in and the stiches were put in.

Ok...guyz...I can't type...my fingers r now going to slow...I have typed so much. I promise to add some more later!

I will post more as soon as I can. Since I just posted that last part like an hour or two ago I have kno ideas...at the moment...don't worry. Also, I have this church youth group thingy (gag me please...I begged my mom to let me skip) tonight and when I get home I will devoted to The Division! If the thingy is canceled for tonight *crossing fingers* (It snowed yesterday...they might have cancelled it) I will post more!!

It took another hour for the doctor to finally finish putting in the stiches.
D: Ok...done!
J: I can't feel my mouth...what did u do to me...and u call yourself a doctor!
D: It is just the numbing medicine...it hasn't worn off yet. In a couple of hours it should wear off.
J: O...ok...can I leave?
D: Yes...hold on...I will walk you out to your mother.
The walk out into the waiting room and over to Rose.
R: Is she all done? *standing up*
D: Yes...she should come back here in two weeks so we can take the stiches out. Until then I don't want to see you back here.
J: Ok...I'll request another doctor.
D: You know what I mean.
J: Mmmhmm...well anyways can we leave...this place is giving me the creeps.
R: Yes...come on dear.
They walked out of the hospital and to the bus stop. The got on a bus and stopped near their apartment building. The walked to the building and went up to their apartment, opened the door, and walked in.
J: Well...*realizing that she was gonna get yelled at* I'm gonna go to bed.
R: Jo...don't even give me that. Sit down on the couch.
Jo: *makes her way over to the couch and sits down*
R: Jo...I can't believe u...you kno u r going to get arrested one day and I won't be able to bail you out! I mean look at you! You just got suspended for fighting, got in the hospital for drinking! You know...I'm not going to punish you for this one...but if you don't get into that school...I'm going to find something else for you to do...and it won't be fun.
J: Fine...now can I go to bed...I haveta go to the preppy lil girlstown tomorrow.
R: Fine...I'll probably be at work when you leave. Good luck on the admissinons test.
J: Thx...goodnight...*leave to room*

Here is some more for u guyz...it is almost done.

Jo woke up the next morning, got dressed, put hair hair back in her "ponytail" and stared in the mirror.
J: Geez...that gurl did some damage...eh...s'ok
She walks out of her room and into the kitchen. She grabs herself a bagel and a glass of OJ and sat down at the table eating it quickly. When she was finally done she grabbed her coat and her keys and heads out the door. Once she gets outside she hops onto her motorcycle and starts towards Eastland School For Girls.

On the way up she drove with jumbled thoughts.
J: What if I don't get in? What will ma think? I hope the test isn't gonna be hard. Geez...this is not a good day. *she thought*
As saw the sign for Peekskill she began to realize that she had no clue what so ever where Eastland was. She pulled into a grocery store parking lot so she could ask someone working there. She got off her motorcycle and went up to someone working there.
J: Uh...hi...yea...do u kno where Eastland School is?
Employee: Uh...well I think it is...uh...um...
Someone is walking by them and happens to here Jo's question.
Person: Eastland School?
J: Uh...yea
Person: O...it is *gives directions* I m Edna Garrett...a dorm mother person(sry...I didn't kno wut it was called...lol...o...Lizzie...I hadta get her in there for u)
J: Thx...*walks out*
She follows Mrs G's directions to the skool and in 10 minutes she had pulled into the parking lot (she would have pulled into the flower garden...but the flowers haven't turned brown and digusting yet) She made her way into the building and tried to find the guidance room...where she would be finding where to take her test. As she was making her way up the hallway a class let out. A group of people came out of the room and it was Blair, Sue Ann, and Nancy...obviously she doesn't kno that.
Blair: *glances over at Jo's face* Nice face *snickers*
Sue Ann and Nancy: *whispers* Blair! *try and hold in laughter*
J: Well...*Jo smile* your face will be lookin a lot worse if ya don't butt out.
B: Turn Blue *walks away*
J: *rolls eyes and continues down the hallway*
After walking for ten minutes she finally finds the guidance office. She walks in.
J: Uh...hello?
GC: Hello...can I help u?
J: Uh...yea...I m Jo Polniaczek...I m s'posed to take some sort of admissions test.
GC: O...yes...I wrote your name down somewhere...anywayz...come with me while I go find the test.
They walk down a hallway and the counsler tries to make some conversation.
GC: So...wut happened to your um...face.
J: O...I had an "accident" the other day...no biggie and also I got into a fight at school...nothin big
GC: A fight?!?!? We can't have that at Eastland...
J: Mmmmhmmmm
GC: *leads Jo into a room and pulls out a test* You can take it in here. When u are done come to my office *sets to pencils on a table* You can use those...good luck!
J: *mutters* Yea...good luck...
She sits down at the table and begins to take the test. It took her 2 1/2 hours. When she finally finished...she checked all the answers and got up to take it back to the guidance counsler.
GC: All done?
J: Yep...can I go?
GC: Yes...we should have your test results back in three weeks.
J: Thx...*leaves and heads back home*

It will be over in one or two more posts!!!

This part as gonna be kinda rushed b/c I REALLY don't wanna type out every detail. BTW...this is it!! I M DONE!!!

Jo got home and slept the rest of the afternoon. She finshed up her suspension, detention, and the rest of her freshman school year. It was 7:00pm a week into summer vacation...
R: *walks in the door coming home from work carrying the mail in her hand*
J: *sittin on the couch watching somethin on tv*
R: Hi honey...what did u do today?
J: Nothin much...how was work?
R: *sighs* Busy...*flips through mail* Here is something from Eastland...it is addressed to u *gives it to Jo, continues to flip through the mail...see's only bills...then turns her attention to the letter Jo had just recieved.*
J: *opens the letter* Dear Miss Polniaczek...blah blah blah...you have received a 98% on your test and we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Eastland!
R: Congratulations Jo...*hugs her*
J: Thx Ma *shocked that she had done so well*
R: I m so proud of you honey!!
J: Thx
They spent the rest of the evening talking, laughing, watchin movies on tv, eatin pizza. They summer began to turn to fall. Jo had gotten her Eastland uniform, schedule, and supplies. It was finally the night before she had to go.
R: I m going to go into work late tomorrow so I can make sure you get off ok.
J: Thx Ma...I'll miss you
R: I'll miss you too honey...but I really don't want you around this neighborhood.
J: Ok..well...I m going to go out for a while.
R: Ok...but don't come back to late.
J: I won't...*grabs her keys and leaves*
Jo hops on her bike and goes around the Bronx
J: Eh...I guess it won't be that bad...this place is pretty...bad.
She drives to Jessie's apartment building and goes up to where Jessie lives.
J: *knocks*
Je: *opens the door* Hey Jo...wut r you doing here?
J: I wanted to say 'bye'...I m leavin tomorrow
Je: O...to girls town...haha
J: I guess I'll miss u
Je: Of course u will...u need me to keep u sane.
J: O shut up
Je: Just don't get all preppy
J: I won't
They say there goodbyes then Jo goes home to go to bed. The next morning she and her mother r rushing around trying to get all ready.
J: So...I guess this is 'goodbye'
R: I'll miss you honey!
J: Me 2...*hugs her mom...wipes away a single tear*
R: Ok...well...be...TRY to be good.
J: Ok...bye...*hops on her bike and drives away*
She finally gets to the school. She doesn't kno where to park so she just parks in some "weeds". She grabs her bag and makes her way into the cafeteria.
J: Uh...is this where I'm supposed to be?...

Ya'll kno where it goes from here!!! That is it! I hope you liked it. I dunno if I m gonna post another one on this board soon...I m thinkin about postin one on The Division board...if I can think of a story...if not...I guess I will post more on this board!
