One thing that has absolutely driven me nuts for almost 40 years of watching
the Brady Bunch, is Robert Reed's hands. For a Shakespearean actor, it is amazing how stiff and awkward he was in using his hands. He obviously didn't know what to do with them and apparently every director he worked with didn't bother to bring it to his attention.
His hands were always on his hips or he was fiddling with his jacket (buttoning and unbuttoning), or even more distracting, placing a hand on his abdomen.
Each thread only allows 7 screen caps, so I had to limit the examples. I am sure I could have come up with dozens more!
