Rick- (getting tears in his eyes) Jo..you can't leave me. no this isn't about me anymore. this is about katie and kerri. i don't know what'd they'd do without you.Katie hasn't stopped crying for the past few days and i know for a fact that kerri is just bottling up her feelings inside. Blair had a fit this morning and (starts to cry hareder) natalie and tootie won't stop crying either! Jo we all need you! please jo! don't leave! not yet!
Doctor- (peeks his head inside)mr. bonner.
Rick- (nodds and wipes his eyes) yea okay. i'm going. (kisses jo's hand) I'll be back i promise. hang in there jo.(walks out)

(Hospital waiting room)
Katie: Daddy is mommy ok?
Rick: Yes Katie mommy's fine.
Tootie: Rick we saw the doctors rush in...what happened?
Rick: Oh well let's put it this way those SOB's need to make sure their equipment is working right.
Mrs. G: Rick!!!! There are kids present.
Rick: Sorry...the monitor came unplugged.
Natalie & Blair: Thank God
Rick: Let's go to lunch.
Tootie: okay.

(they all get back from lunch)
Rick- (runs over to the front desk) how is she?!
Nurse- why mr. bonner..what a pleasant surprise!
Rick- oh don't play games with me.
Nurse- no i'm serious. your wife has made progress.
Rick- really? that's great!
Nurse- we are almost certain that she will make it.
Rick- (jumps up and hugs the nurse) oh thank you thank you thank you! (turns around and tells the others and then runs back)Can we visit her yet?
Nurse- sure. you know the place.
(all go up to jo's room- at the door)
Rick- (to kerri and katie) after you two.
Katie- naw. me and ker decided we'd see her last.
Rick- well okay. if you say so! (walks in jo's room) Jo..i..i..thank g-d you're okay!
Jo- (weakly in a soft, cracky, voice) hey ri.rick.
Rick- it's so good to hear your voice.
Jo- it's only been (coughs)
Rick- (nervously) are you okay?!?!
Jo- people cough rick.
Rick- (takes a sigh of relief) as you were saying?
Jo- it's only been two days.
Rick- yes but it felt like a lifetime. you don't know what's been going on! you need a boat to get across the waiting room we've all been cryin so much!
Jo- aww come on.
Rick- i'm serious jo! we've all been pretty hysterical and blair..o i won't even go into her.
Jo- why? what'd she do?
Rick- oh..she just totally lost it. i mean really lost it. cliff had to take her outside to calm her down. but that's the least of it..katie and kerri, well katie has been crying non-stop for 2 days straight! she stayed up all night weeping telling me how much she loves you. and kerri, well she's just holding her feelings inside to be strong for her sister.
Blair- (peeks head inside) today rick!
Rick- look, i gotta go. (hugs her) oo i love you so much jo!
Jo- i love you too. (lightly kisses him)
Rick- (smiles and walks out)
(Blair, nat, and tootie walk in)
Blair- (runs up to her and hugs her as a tear falls down her cheek)
Jo- hey i'm fine really! don't cry.
Blair- oh i've just been so worried! you have no idea!
Jo- oh i have some idea.
Blair- (looks confused)
Jo- rick told me everything.
Blair- everythig?
Jo- (nodds)
Blair- (holds hand in front of her face in embarassment) please say he didn't.
Jo- i only wish i could have seen it for myself!
Natalie- oh no you don't,
Jo- Nat! hey (hugs her) how ya (coughs) doin?
Natalie- okay now.
Jo- tootie..get over here! (hugs her)
Tootie- oh it's so good to heat your voice.
Jo- i've been hearin that a lot today. anyway..how are you all doin?
Blair- fine, i have an 8 year old daughter named rachel.
Natalie- i have a 9 year old daughter chelsea.
Tootie- i have a 10 year old named jordan and a 12 year old named jenny.
Jo- that's great you guys!when i feel a little better i gotta meet them. i'm sure you've met my girls.
Blair- oh they are just the sweetest things!
Jo- thanks. (yawns)
Tootie- well we better get going.
Natalie- yea see ya later jo.
Jo-(nodds-and stops blair before she leaves) oh blair?
Blair- (turns around) hm?
Jo- look i didn't mean to embarass you before.
Blair- don't worry about it okay?
Jo- it really did mean a lot to me you know.
Blair- oh one more hug! (runs over and hugs her again) i'll see you later okay jo?
Jo- yea okay.
(then mrs.g, bev ann, and the guys, see jo followed by katie and kerri)
Katie- Mommy! (runs over to jo and hugs her)
Kerri- katie! don't you know not to jump on a person after they...oh nevermind! (runs over and hugs jo just the same way katie did)
Jo- hey you two. (hugs them really hard- then a tear rolls down her cheek)
Katie- mommy? why are you crying? i mean i'd join ya but i dont think i can anymore.
Jo- i'm not crying.
Kerri- well then you should really see a doctor because there is water coming out of your eyes!
Jo- (smiles) okay, i'm crying a little bit. but not the bad tears. i'm crying the same tears i cried the day you two were born.
Kerri- (smiles and hugs her again along with katie)
(about 3 minutes later)
Jo- (eyes closing) look girls, i'm real tired okay? i want you to go home and get a good night's rest and see me first thing tomorrow okay?
Kerri- but it's only 3:00!
Jo- well then get to bed extra early! you could use it.
Katie-okay okay. bye mommy! i love you sooooo much!
Kerri- yea me too! bye.
Jo- wait a second..ker come here.
Kerri- yea?
Jo- i wanted to tell you how proud of you i am.
Kerri- for what?
Jo- for being strong for your sister.
Kerri- oh..well it was nothing. i mean it was something. something nice enough for a raise on my allowance.
Jo- (laughs a little) yea you wish kid.
Kerri- hey it was worth a shot!
Jo- (hugs her again) i'll see you tomorrow.
Kerri- ya bye. (walks out)

Rick: (Runs up to the nurse) How is she?
Nurse: Well because of her coughing the dr. would like to keep her here for observations.
Rick: When can we see her?
Nurse: Right now.
Rick: Thank-you. (To everyone else) Ok the Dr. wants to keep her here for observations but we can go see her now.
Katie: YAE!!!!!
(Jo's Room, Katie and Kerri go in.)
Katie: Mommy!!!!!! How are you?
Jo: Katie i'm fine (Hugs her then coughs)
Kerri: Mom what's wrong?
Jo: Kerri your just like your father. I'm fine people cough that's life.
Kerri: Oh sorry.
Katie: I love you mommy
Kerri: So do I but everyone wants to see you so bye.
Jo: Bye girls. Tell your father that I want to see him.
Katie: Okay Mom. (in the hall) Dad Mom wants you next.
Rick: Oh Jo I'm so glad you're alright I love you so much.
Jo: I love you too Rick.
Rick: well they want to keep you here for observations.
Jo: Rick I'm fine and just to let you know kerri is just like you I coughed and she asked me if i was ok.
Rick: Everyone wants to see you so i'll go now.

(after they visited-back in the waiting room)
Rick- so when do you think she will be released?
Nurse- well mr.bonner, i told you we were keeping her under observation. we'll give you an estimate of about, let's say 2 or 3 days.
Rick- well that's fine. (to the others) you can all stay at my place until jo gets out..we'll have a little reunion or something!
Mrs. G- that would be great! good idea rick.
Rick- (to the nurse again) shall we stay here and wait for some news.
Nurse- i doubt there will be anymore news on mrs.bonner.
Rick- well alright. visiting hours are from 12-2 right?
Nurse- that's correct. see you then mr.bonner.
Rick- (smiles and walks away) let's go everybody. we can come back at noon.
(they all go out and do some things...anyway the clock strikes 12)
Rick- we're back!
Nurse- (looks at watch) and right on time.
Rick- we're going to go visit her okay?
Nurse- mr. bonner! you can't visit her right now.
Rick- why not? it's visiting hours isn't it?
Nurse- well yes...but you know that nasty cough she's had?
Rick- well yes.
Nurse- well she had some kind of reaction to the medication and is not able to be seen right now.
Rick- (looks worried) is she going to be alright?
Nurse- don't worry mr. bonner people react to medications everyday. it's nothing to worry about! she will stil most likely be released in 2 or 3 days.
Rick- oh okay. (walks back to the others)
Kerri- so can we see her yet?
Rick- not now girls.
Katie- (whining) why?
Rick- she had a reaction to the medication and can't be visited at the moment. but katie dont even start to cry because she is fine okay?
Katie- i wasn't gonna cry. i've had reactions to medicine before and i'm fine aren't i?
Rick- yea..you're right.
Blair- little jo's come here.
Kerri- could ya stop callin us that?
Blair- oh come on. you both know you love it.
Katie- noooo we don't.
Blair- well fine, girls come here.
Kerri- much better. (gets up and walks over to blair along w/ katie)
Blair- now we all haven't been too social for the past few days. so i want you both to get to know rachel!
Kerri- we know her!
Katie- yea..sure we do.
Blair- well then i think you should go play together! wouldn't that be great?
Rachel- it would be so nice mother. you think of the best ideas. maybe i could even teach them how to do makeup!
Blair- isn't she darling? well have fun kids!
Kerri- oh i'm sure we will.

Katie- Rachel! no! get back!

Rachel- awww come on! you'll look better!
Kerri- don't make me knock you out.

Blair- (sees what's going on) well it was worth a shot! (takes rachel's arm) come along dear.
Rachel- but we were really bonding!
Kerri- (sarcasticly) yea, you could really feel the togetherness when you were chasing us with your lipstick.
Katie- (giggles)
(anyway for the next two days everybody keeps visiting jo-yet managing to keep busy)
(2 days later)
Nurse- (wheeling jo down the hall) now remember mrs. bonner, you need lots of rest. you shouldn't go out much for the next week and need to take off from work.
Jo- aright, aright. i'll do everything you say.
Nurse- well i should hope so. we don't want to see you back here again!
Jo- would ya calm down? i will rest aright?
Nurse- fine.
Katie- (sees jo) look ker! there's mommy!
Kerri- (grabs her when she starts to run) would ya calm down? don't jump on her!
Katie- fine fine. no need to be mean.
Kerri- i was not being mean!
Katie- were too!
Kerri- were not!
Katie- uh-huh!
Kerri- Nuh-uh!
Jo- (at this time is right next to them-taps katie on the shoulder)
Katie- mommy! hi! i didn't see you! (hugs her)

Rick- jo! you're free! (laughs to himself)

(everybody says their "hellos" and then leave)
(the next day at jo and rick's house-there is a little reunion going on)

Tootie- at your service. (laughs a little)
Jo- are those yours? (referring to the kids)
Blair- oh they're finally getting along! how nice! i knew they would...once i took away rachel's makeup! (laughs)
Jo- well, i wanna get to know em' better. i mean you're all leaving soon and i don't know the next time we'll all be together like this so..
Natalie- we get your point jo. (yells) Chelsea, jordan, jenny, and rachel! we want you to meet jo!
Rachel- we know jo! she's all we've been talking about for the last 3 days!
Natalie- well then get to know her better. get over here.
(all walk over)
Rachel- i'm rachel. so nice to finally meet the person my mother talks about 24/7!
Jo- (looks confused)

Jordan- i'm jordan. (holds out hand) and this is jenny.
Jenny- (she says this very fast) hi my name's jenny but you can call me jen. i mean some of my friends call me jenny and some jen it all depends on their mood.but me? i prefer jenny. nice to finally meet you!
Jo- (scratches head) you really remind me of your mom you know that?
Jenny- lots a people say that! i mean technically i should because i am her daughter and
Jo- (interupts her) nevermind. it's nice to meet you both.
Chelsea- i'm chelsea. (shakes her hand)i give you a lotta credit cause you...ya know lived and all.
Natalie- (nudges her) chelsea!
Chelsea- but i do! i mean i don't know how you did it!
Jo- you wanna know how? a little voice inside me told me that i had to. so i stayed strong and well..here i am!
(about an hour later)
Rick- jo..you need some rest. remember what the doctor told you.
Jo- yea you're right. everyone should probebly start to get going.
(tell everyone that the reunion is over and stuff-now for the goodbyes!)
Tootie- I'm really gonna miss you jo! here (gives her a card) you need to call me sometime okay? (hugs her for a while) you rest for a while and keep of that motercycle!
Jo- ah, the motercycles finished. i won't be riding that thing anymore.
Jeff- See ya jo. i really do give you a lot of credit.
Jo- (hugs him) bye jeff. thanks.
(tootie waits outside for the others so they could say their goodbyes outside)
Jordan- by mrs. bonner! nice to meet you!
Jenny- it's been so nice to finally meet jo mrs. bonner! my mom talks about you lots and i've been looking forward to seein ya! i didn't know it would be today but
Jordan- (puts her hand over jenny's mouth) would ya shut-up!
Jenny- goodbye jo!!!! (walks out)
Jo- (laughing)
Natalie- jo...o gosh i'll miss you so much! you know my number! give me a call okay? we need to get together on a better occasion sometime okay?
Jo- you got it nat. (hugs her for a while) i'm gonna miss you!
Snake- jo i don't know what to say. you are by far the bravest woman i know.
Jo- (hugs him) thanks snake that really means a lot to me.

Rick- oh i'm sorry. you want me to carry you or do you want to try and walk a little on your own.
Jo- i'll try to walk a little.
Rick- you got it toots!
Jo- (rolls eyes)\
Rick- (slowly helps her up)
Jo- (grimaces from pain because she is still very sore)
Rick- you aright? (puts his arm around her-to help her walk)
Jo- yea. (starts to walk upstairs slowly)
Rick- hey you're doing much better!
Jo- (doesn't reply because she is concentrating)
Rick- i'm real proud of you jo.
(about 5-6 minutes later they get to jo's room)
Rick- (helps her into bed) try to get some rest okay jo?
Jo- yea.
Rick- i love you.
Jo- (smiles) not as much as i love you.

Katie- how did i know! i knew they were kissin or somethin.
Kerri- you did not know! lucky guess!
