I too have heard Desi laughing in the back quite a few times (he has a very..odd.. laugh that you just can't miss lol)

I love to listen to the audience laughter and laugh track; you can pick out certain laughers. Lucy's mom was at many filmings. I wish I knew what she sounded like.

I'll have to listen for Lucy's off-stage laughter. I don't really recall it. It would have to be during a really funny moment, when Lucy was not in the scene.

I actually was caught off guard by her laughter. I wasn't really paying attention to the laughter, but lo and behold I heard it and I said to myself, "That's Lucy laughing." I was shocked because like I said, I had become accustomed to Desi's laughter. Lucy has her own distinct laugh that you can clearly hear in that scene. I will be on the lookout for other episodes to see if I can hear her laugh.

You are right. Very few scenes where Lucy is NOT in the scene and the scene is funny.
