(15 minutes pass until the train makes another stop.)

(train stops)

J- (getting up) well this is us!

B- (looking out the window in disbelief) this?! but...jo this is the middle of no-where!

J- yeah...

B- oh no...you don't mean that...

J- oh come on! (grabs her arm) let's go.

B- (trying to pull all her suitcases) alright alright! no need to get all huffy on me!

J- (rolls eyes and walks off the train)

B- (walking as fast as she can w/ all of her suticases) jo!! don't just leave me here! (walks off train)

(off of the train)

B- you know the train could gave just left with me still in it!

J- oh darn...

ok..well polnicazek hasn't e-mailed me bak yet so i'm just gonna do this and if she getz mad i'll delete it..k? ok..herez the thing...the whole knife thing..neva happened...there is a bear..and they both are nervous but noooo knife! k?

(both girls are very nervous)

B- what are we going to do?!?!

J- well for one thing we definatly need to lock that door! (points to front door)

B- (goes over to the fire place and takes out two pieces of wood) this should do it!

J- alright...hold on (takes out from her suitcase a few nails, a drill, and a hammer) use these!

B- jo...why...do u...

J- hey...i figured while we were here i should get some other work done.

B- uh-huh...

J- i've been workin on this motor and a brought along a few tools aright?

B- okay okay! lets get started.

(walk over to the door)

B- i'll just hold the wood in place.

J- (gives a fake smile) you do that blair.

(jo starts to hammer the wood onto the door)

J- heh...and you think that you came prepared. i swear if one thing you brought is useful i will pay you! seriously!

B- (rolls eyes)

J- oh blair, would you get me that nail over there?

B- oh yeah sure. (turns around and sees the bears head right up against the window-after seeing that she screams and faints and since she was holding the wood it dropped onto jo's foot)

J- blair! what was that for? (picks wood up of her foot and turns around to see blair on the floor) (shocked) blair?! (puts wood back down and kneels down next to blair) Blair? (turns around to see the bear's face right against teh window)

J- (gasps) aright...hold on blair. it's gonna be okay. (runs to the bag in which the food is being kept and takes out a large piece of meat)

J- (takes a deap breath and slowly takes wood of the door- to herself) come on jo...ou can do this. (once door is open she quicky opens it and throws the meat as far as she could-the bear sees this and runs to find it)

J- (takes a sigh of relief) oh thank g-d. (then remembers blair and runs back to her side)

J- (checks blair's pulse) come on... (finds a pulse) aright..we're gonna be okay. (to herself) okay...what now. (feels blair's head) Ice.

J- (looks outside and sees no sign of the bear-she then gets a plastic bag and goes outside to fill it with snow and use it as a cold compress)

J- (brings it back inside- and is about to put it on blair's head when she realizes that blair is still on the floor) well..here goes (slowly lifts blair up and brings her over to the bed and lays her down)

J- (places the cold compress on her head-to herself) what am i gonna do? the nearest hospital is over 50 miles away, no working phones in the area, nothing! it's up to me. (takes another deep breath and smiles) don't worry blair...your in good hands.

J- (to herself) okay jo, think! u checked her pulse, lowered her fever...(hesitates) now what? (thinks for a minute...) i guess i'll just have to...wait. (puts hand over blair's) your gonna be fine. (smiles)

(2 hours later)

B- (starts to move around a little bit-then she slowly rubs and opens her eyes to see jo sleeping on a chair next to her) What the? (rubs eyes again) huh? jo? what ...what happened?

J- (wakes up) Blair! your...your...awake! oh...u have no idea how worried i was! (realizes what she just said) i mean...how freaked out i was.

B- jo, what happened? i remember i was helping you do something and then...i blacked out for some reason. what happened?

J- uh...well do you remember that

B- (interupts her) bear?

J- yea...well you sorta got a little too close and...passed out.

B- (rubs head) oh, i'm so sorry jo. i honestly didn't mean to...

J- (interupts her) blair, it's not your fault!

B- well, i'm not sure what you did...but (smiles) thanks.

J- (smiles) awwwww it was nothin!

B- well...we had better get to work huh?

J- oh...i don't really think your up to it...yet. i'll do your stuff for today aright?

B- you'd do that? you?! who made me walk in the snow and take a train would do that for little old me?

J- don't push it blair.

B- (smiles) thanks jo.

J- (gettin her stuff together) no prob!

Okay...

(The weekend went by fast for Jo but it seemed like forever for Blair.They got their assignment done and were on their way home.)

Jo-Was it as bad as you expected it to be?
Blair-(Shrugs)Other than the bear,the skunk that stuck up the cabin(glars at Jo accusingly),loosing my favorite lipstick,and having to spend a whole weekend stuck in a cabin with you...it wasen't half bad.
Jo-For your information,the skunk wasen't my fault.
Blair-You threw a rock at it!
Jo-You kept screamin at me to do it!Plus,it only got in the cabin 'cause you left the door open.
Blair-(Looks guilty)Well,at least were going home now.
Jo-Yeah...home...(she smiles)
