The way Happy Days is being released with it's spinoffs instead of more seasons. I'm sure most of you would prefer season 3, 4, and 5 to be released instead of the COMBO RELEASE of HD, L&S, and M&M. Not sure why Paramount is releasing all 3 shows together even though they are connected. I don't see Sony releasing AITF with Maude and the Jeffersons-lol

hey i couldn't agree with you more cbs/paramount does not care how they re releasing the sets, i hope that for season 3 that all of the original will be intact because without that there would be no telling what was heard in that season or what the band had played and the editing deleted scenes i mean season 3 is the popular series that we all have been waiting for and for cbs/paramount to mess it up since they are making the decisions i a down right ashamed but what cn we do about it othinglike what time life did with the odd couple dvd, i wish they had happy days dvd sets instead of cbs/paramount at lest they would have showed everything intact, i think a while back i saw that time life actually had a happy days dvd but i think it was in another country i look it up peace, i think time life would have been better in obtanning the rights to hd l&s and m&m like they did with the odd couple and get smart peace

Actually, the first 2 seasons of AITF were released on DVD along with the Jeffersons, Good Times, and Sanford and Son.

I'm just glad they are being released. Even with the music replacements we are getting to see material that hasn't been shown since the original airings in some cases. Season three has some great episodes including the classic "Richie Fights Back". I'm grateful for the chance to add that to DVD collection.

What's being referred too is the season SETS being release dot the market at the same time, not on th esame DVD's. Each season of Happy Days is being released at the same time as seasons of Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy. All seperate sets being released at the same time.
Going by the last release other than cuts made for music issues, the episodes should be uncut.

I concur! Maybe we should lobby for CBS to release both the 1992 and 2005 HD reunion specials, if you agree.

with all of the complaints that cbs/paramount has been getting i wonder if they are going to try to make season 3 worth buying which i pray it will include if not all some of the original music original deleted scenes and bonus like there saturday morning cartoon show

i wonnder what cbs/paramount is going to do with our long awaited season 3 since its coming out on nov 27, with all of the complaints that they have been getting pertainning to season 2 they no that they cannot mess season 3 up that would be sad, hopully they are working on te deleted scenes and a few of the music rights what ever was heard on season 3 i think they are doing something special with season 3 lts keep our fingers crossed

hey i have a good feeling with all of th complaints that cbs/ paramount may have gotten fron fans and online stores like amazon best buy and walmart they might have gotten the messages that season 3 better be worth buying and better picture quailty, i think season 3 will have every included like it was shown on ABC if ther are still in pre production may be they are working on the footages delted scenes and some music rights who knows but i have agood feeling that they will not disappoint

Should we blame Les Moonves for this? After all, he's CBS Paramount's head honcho. Whether we like it or not, CBS owns HD, so they can do whatever they please with the DVD releases.

hey based on the nagative reviews and complaints from fans about season 2 on the Amazon website maybe CBS/PARAMOUNT got the messages loud and clear, even though season 3 did not have allot of music because of ome of the songs that the band peformed but i am curious to no or find out what was some of the original music tht was heard on season 3 through season that the show ended

Based on what I saw with season 2, I doubt CBS/Paramount is going to go out of their way to make season 3 "the best." Sure, the scenes cut from syndication will be there but not much else.

"Rock Around the Clock" wasn't the theme song anymore starting with the third season. What's on that site you posted is copied from Wikipedia which is notorious for displaying inaccurate information.

you no something based on reading what was said about hd3 may be true look at what they said was going to be on season 2, it read that rock around the clock was replace with the season 3 theme which was correct and plus the replacment music which the ite did not lie about that, but based on what was said about season3 if it true that bill haley rock around the clock will be on there maybe thats a good sign, if cbs/ paramount had cleared that music ight as well as other who knows but it could be a good sign, i beleive that garry marshal will take part in the season 3 release i can feel, we will have to wait and see you all must admit they did not lie about the music that was replace on season 2 and plus they knew when season 2 and season was going to be released maybe this websit knows something that we do not no we will have to wait and see ill belive it when i see and haer it.

1. The information contained in the "additional information" section for the second-season release isn't a prediction. It's information based on what the actual set contains.

2. The information contained in the "additional information" section for the third-season release is wrong. As I mentioned previously, "Rock Around the Clock" was never used for the opening theme during the third season. Somebody without any knowledge of the actual series erroneously posted that information. They spelled Norman Gimbel's name wrong, too.

3. It's true that CBS/Paramount didn't lie that original music was replaced for the season-two DVD, but they didn't come right out and admit it, either. It was only discovered when advance copies were sent to reviewers.

the reason i would do that i because it would not look right too own a first complete season with everything intact and not see that for the rest of the series, too me it would not look right, i watch hd season one occassionally too see all of the original footages and music that was cut out of syndication, and to see the rest of the series edited and cut out, it just meses up the dvd collection thats jut how i feel

I am happy for every Season which will come out on Dvd ... JUST to have it.

I have too admit i am somewhat happy that happy days season 3 is coming out. And again i hope that cbs/paramount has not screwed around with the original editing lost footages the sound or the picture quailty. Much as i hate to sound blunt, but something inside of me is telling me, that the creator and producer Garry Marshall has been attending the pre production meeeting with cbs/ paramount of the HD3 release hey season 3 was like the most beloved popular show, and i think that Garry Marshall will be doing something special too make sure that HD3 sells well, i could be wrong but something tells me that he and cbs/paramount has worked something out too me it could be either the music or something else we do not know what, i do believe in prayers. No, it doesn't. Like most of the CBS/Paramount DVDs released in '07 season 2 comes in a standard amary case that holds 4 discs by using a middle holder that holds 1 disc on each side and the the other 2 are placed separatly on the left and right of the case. The discs themselves have NO artwork and are just plain silver with the Happy Days logo.

Hey happy days fans, please tell me from your own words, what will each and every one of you will be expecting from season 3 of happy days all of the original deleted scenes where you cannot see or find anywhere else, the songs performed by the band and all of the comedy scenes i cannot waite i just hope that cbs/paramount has put allot of effort in these dvd peace
