(Jo walks in)

J- (angrily) What am I gonna do?!?!

T- Why hello jo. nice to see you too!

J- Tootie, not now! what am i gonna do?!?!

MG-what's the matter jo?

J- it's my bike. it broke down and i tried to fix it and just ended up making the problem worse! so, i had to take it into the station and it won't be ready for 3 whole days!


N- That's the problem? (rolls eyes)

J- yes THAT! and the fact that i have a date with Keith tonight!

T- Ooooooohhhhh, you are in troooooouuuuuubbblle!

J- thanks a lot tootie! how am i gonna get there? i can't just cancel on him.

N- i wish i could help ya Jo, but I'm going out with Snake tonight and I...don't have a car.

T- don't look at me! i'm still taking drivers ed!

MG- sorry jo. no can do.

J- (sighs) oh, great! this is just great! what do you all expect me to do now?!?!

B- hello all!

(all look up at blair)

N- Blaiiirr. (says in that voice blair always uses.)

B- whaaaat...(u know the voice!)

T- Blair?

B- what?!?!

J- no way!

B- alright, i'm really starting to get annoyed here.

N- What are you doing tonight Blair?

B- believe or not...nothing...oh, but don't worry it's not because i don't have a date..it's just that cliff has bronchitus and had to cancel.

N- perfect!

B- what? that cliff has bronchitus?

N- blair, how would you like to drive jo to Keith's house tonight?

B- jo? you want me to do you a favor?

J- you're my last resort.

B- awwww...well i'm honored. you'll just have to tell me where he lives, and how to get there, and what roads, to take, and

J- why don't ya just let me drive!

B- sorry, no one drives my daddy's porsha but me!

J- fine. we'll leave at 8:30 alright?

B- not a problem!

(it's 8:30)

J- where is she?!?! i knew i couldn't trust her to be back here at 8:30!

MG- jo, calm down she'll be here. don't worry.

T- well, i wouldn't be too sure. i remember one time she was supposed to pick me up to..

N-(interupts her) tootie! we don't need to hear this right now!

T- oh, sorry.

(blair walks in)

B- ready jo?

J- YOU'RE LATE!

B- what are you talking about? i said i'd be back at 8:30 and..

J- (interupts her) IT'S 8:43!!!! you're 3 minutes late!

T- why don't you guys stop arguing and wasting time and go already!

J- right. come on blair let's go.

(both leave)

(in the car)

B- (driving) so which way do i go now?

J- right blair! right!

B- (turns left)oops. well, that's not a problem, i'll just turn around.

J- ya can't make a u-turn here blair.

B- look it's no big deal. we'll just take the back roads and before you know it we'll be back.

J- would ya let me drive?!

B- i can handle this jo. i know how to drive you know!

J- no blair i don't know! we're already 5 minutes late!

B- oh, why don't you just....Turn Blue! consider yourself lucky that i'm even doing you this favor.

J- i could have walked to Keith's house faster than you can drive there!

B- ya know what jo? why don't you just

(Both keep arguing and Blair really isn't keeping her eyes on the road)

J- Blair watch out!

(car skids off to the side of the road)

(in the car)

J- A..are you...o..ok..okay?

B- I..I..think so it's just my...head..i think i hit in on the steering wheel or something. (looks at jo)

J- (sees that she has a bruise on her forehead which is bleeding) yeah...you have a little bruise there. (hesitates)now i know you're very protective of the car but..i really think i should drive us both back to mrs.g's place.

B- but... what about your date with Keith?

J- he'll understand. (smiles) come on..let's go home. (helps her up and switch places.)

(driving back)

J- look Blair, i just wanted to say that well..i'm sorry for ya know getting so..crazy.

B- (holding a tissue on her bruise)well i'm sorry for making you have to cancel your date. you really didn't have to. i could have driven myself back.

J- Blair, you're, you're well...i don't think i've ever said this but you're...

B- i'm what?

J- my...best friend and (says really fast) wouldn't want anything to happen to you because that really is a very nasty bruise ya got there...and...well...

B- you mean that?

J- (says a little bit unsurely) well...yeah.

B- well, i suppose even though you can be...rude, obnoxious, greasy, and

J- (interupts her) cool it blair.

B- what i'm trying to say is that you are...my..best friend too. (smiles)

MG-(surprised to see them) What are you both doing back so earl..(sees Blairs holdong a tissue on her head) Blair what happened?!?!

B- oh, it's nothing...really.

MG- i know what nothing looks like and this isn't nothing.

B- i don't really want to talk about it Mrs. Garett.

MG- Fine than jo will talk about it. jo?

J- The car sorta skidded and Blair hit her head.

MG- that's awful! why would the car skid? in this weather? there's no ice on the road.(sounds suspicious)

B- i took my eyes off the road. i'm sorry.

J- we were arguing because i thought we were lost.

MG- Well, i hope you both learned your lesson! you know better than that!

J+B- (both look sorry)

MG- Well, i'm just glad that you're both alright. Now Blair, let me take a look at this bruise...

(Mrs. Garett cleans off Blair's bruise and then everyone goes to bed.)
