View Full Version : What's your favorite JETHRO moment?
treky 07-19-2007, 02:22 AM mine is when he's showing Granny how to get a bear to light up so she can see inside it:rofl:
so he shows her a lamp and tells her to take the bulb out (she does), then he says "Now turn it on". (she does). He points to the socket and says "Now there's live electricity in there. So, we jest put some honey in there, then this dum ol' bear comes over and stick his tounge in, like this". Then he sticks his tounge in the socket and, well, you can just imagine what happens!!!
comedyfreak 07-19-2007, 08:37 AM I liked when the was trying to be a double knot spy, he had a metal hat and nearly knocked himself out.
Montreal88 07-19-2007, 11:42 AM I always enjoyed the episode in which Jethro tries to decide which occupation he should have later in life (after he "done gradiated the 6th grade"):
1) A fry cook.
2) A brain surgeon.
3) A streetcar conductor.
I always liked when he would eat up all the food before the others could take their first bite. And when he dressed up like Robin Hood and met up with those hippies in the park.
catlover79 07-19-2007, 06:57 PM In the game room: "This here table is what you'd call a billiard table. This here fellow must be what you call a billiard." The "fellow" was a stuffed deer head with antlers.
BadBoy 01-02-2008, 05:43 AM I liked when the was trying to be a double knot spy, he had a metal hat and nearly knocked himself out.
I enjoyed the double-knot spy episodes as well. I saw one on the TV-Land New Year's marathon with lots of Bond references, like Drysdale wanted to be known as Milburn Goldfinger, and the fake-spy bosses calling themselves J and K (instead of M and Q)
tv star collector 01-02-2008, 09:02 AM I liked the episode in which Roy Clark guested as an old friend from the hills,
and Jethro didn't want to be seen with him because it would spoil his image
as a "sophisticated playboy."
Maynard 01-03-2008, 07:11 PM The time he was trying to teach Duke how to fetch a stick was memorable. Really, most of Jethro's "moments" were memorable in one way or the other.
BadBoy 01-03-2008, 08:24 PM Also the least-favorite Jethro moments were the early first season episodes featuring "Jethrine"
elly mae 01-03-2008, 09:46 PM When Jetho opened his "topless" restaurant. So very funny.
Maynard 01-04-2008, 01:18 AM Ah yes, "the Happy Gizzard". And Granny was the main attraction.

Thanks. As you can probably tell I like Addams Family too, showing now on TV-Land! :)

Mrdata 03-09-2008, 08:25 AM In the game room: "This here table is what you'd call a billiard table. This here fellow must be what you call a billiard." The "fellow" was a stuffed deer head with antlers.
They being from the hills and hunters would know what a deer is!
The stuffed head I believe was that of a Rhino.
