YO MOMMA is so outdated. That show is abt 7 years too late. Who even tells MOMMA JOKES anymore? I agree, it should be a show with jokes dissing the people themselves.

I haven't watched HOUSE OF PAYNE aka PAIN. Don't want to, don't care to.

As for America's Got Talent, there are some rather talented people on there. But just like American Idol, you have to sit through some crap talent before you can see some of the real good stuff.

I agree with every show you listed, escept for America's Got Talent. It's the most watched show this summer with around 12 million viewers each airing, which is excellent even in the fall.

I hardly watch any regular television in the summer which is probably good since I watch so much during the TV season. Networks just want to add reality shows during that time so I'm not missing anything anyway. As for House of Payne....I'm glad TBS is trying out sitcoms but you are right it is Payneful to watch.

Once again a hilarious rant by Solomon. I don't watch ANY tv during the summer and Solomon has explained why. If it wasn't for the releases of classic television shows on DVD, I think I would have jumped off my balcony by now. When the broadcast networks switch to digital reception in 2009, I hope the money I spend on a new tv will be worth the cost.

Another good rant Solomon. I'm sure tv is lousy in the summer, but I personally don't care. I enjoy the break as my husband is watching baseball all season. Once the shows start in the fall, it's back to taping them. Like I said, I enjoy the summer break, but that's just me.

Sunday is the Worst TV Day of the Week in July and August-lol I was thinking about ordering Chinese Food for Dinner but then realize there is nothing on TV tonight that will allow me to enjoy the Chinese food so I have not eaten anything today-lol

I agree, Solomon, with your funny rant but it's right on. I don't watch TV because there's just nothing to watch on TV in the summer. I do not like "Do you think you can dance?" or "America's got talent". Those shows bore me. I don't watch Survior, Big Brother, nor any reality programs and haven't since 2000. Seeing people making fools of themselves doesn't sit well with me. I haven't seen House of Payne nor I'm plan to, but I bet it's not funny. If I can't find anything worth watching on TV, I would watch a show on In2TV, watch TVL, put on a DVD or CD in my PC since I can't find anything else to watch on TV. I am about to buy DVDs of favorite shows within the next year.

I guess it depends on how large of a DVD collection a person has because it would be real easy for them to get stale if watched over and over

You hit the nail on the head again. I hate reality shows. In fact I no longer watch Tv Land, N&N or any of that drivel. Besides, when I good show airs on those stations you have to set through 20 minutes of commercials per half hour show.
I have all my shows on DVD in my personal collection so I can see my shows when I want to and commercial free too. I have 100`s of old sitcoms, variety stuff so there`s plenty to choose from which is more than I can say for Tv Land.

I know what you mean. With my collection growing every time I buy new DVD"s, it makes it a lot easier to watch them, but a lot harder to choose one :)
