Hi. I'm new here. Does anyone have this Seinfeld episode either on their computer, dvd or vhs? "The Puerto Rican Day Parade." It never airs and only one I've never seen.

Thanks.

That one is so funny. I haven't seen it in a long time. What season is that from?

it's from the 8th season; which was their last. It was their last half-hour episode. The next week, they had the one-hour finale.

The only time it ran on NBC was its first run. The day after, a bunch of disgruntled Puerto Ricans protested because of the scene when Kramer was stomping on the flag to put out a fire which he started. Some people have no sense of humor. He wasn't degrading the flag. That just happened to be the thing which caught fire.

I know; I remember hearing that on the news and thinking that same thing.

I think they were also upset because Jerry, Kramer, Elaine and George seemed to be laughing at Puerto-Ricans since the parade was inconvenyencig them.

It's from the 9th season--the 8th season just came out on DVD; the 9th will be out in time for holiday shopping.

Like several other (dead) series I have yet to "wrap up" viewing (still haven't gotten to that "Ally McBeal" finale), I've held off on watching "Puerto Rican Day." It wasn't a conscious decision at the time. Too many other sweeps distractions must have kept me from getting to it before the finale...
