Happy Days was my all time favorite show as I child...I remember visiting my grandmother (whem, lived back east) and being really disappointed because the television channels did not air Happy Days...

I've only seen parts of Happy Days. I don't think I ever really liked it because it took place during the 1950's and I've never really liked 50's pop culture. Laverne and Shirley I liked for a little while when I was in junior high. I watched it for a couple of months then I just lost interest in it. I never liked Mork and Mindy. I've never seen Joanie Loves Chachi. I probably would not like it because I don't like Chachi.

Yeah, it was awesome..I was at the fair for way too many hours. I came home with blisters on my toes and tired as hell. I saw this Van Halen tribute band, there and I thought about Mike; they were really good, but by then I was exhausted (and hungry), so, I did not stick around to watch the entire performance.

Hitchcock made many of his best movies during the 1950's like Strangers On A Train, Rear Window, Vertigo and North By Northwest. There is also The Bridge On The River Kwai, one of the greatest war movies ever made. There's Rebel Without A Cause with James Dean and Anatomy Of A Murder with Jimmy Stewart. I'm also interested in a lot of the political history of the 50's like the Korean War and McCarthyism. I just don't like the music and tv shows of the that decade.

Houston was named the 6th most humid city in America (on the weather channel). We're the only ones listed west of the Mississippi. Not surprising that the rest were in the deep south and Florida. When I had that, my stoamch felt like I had just had too much to eat. This is more of a sharper pain.

I saw Parenthood on cable in the early 90's. I thought it was pretty good. You've Got Mail is one of my dad's favorite movies. He ranks it up there with When Harry Meet Sally and Sleepless In Seattle. I think that he's got something for Meg Ryan. :lol:

I've only seen parts of Happy Days. I don't think I ever really liked it because it took place during the 1950's and I've never really liked 50's pop culture. I've never seen Joanie Loves Chachi. I probably would not like it because I don't like Chachi.

He sure was.:D The CBS version of CIC will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the first show I ever watched not counting cartoons. I watched it from day one when it premiered in October of 1984. I don't remember what made me sit down and watch it though. I had no idea at that point who Scott Baio was. I think maybe a friend of mine was going to watched it so I decided to watch it. Charles was like the older brother that I didn't have. Jason was about that same age I was and and he played soccer just like I did, so I could relate to him. I also thought that Lila was such a cutie. I think that after only three episodes had been shown I started taping them (I was able to tape the first three when they were reaired later in the season). Also, we moved in early 1985, so like Charles I got to be "the new boy in the neighborhood." :D

I really like Undercover too. I know that it was their first album since 1971 not to go to number #1, that it sold much less than Tattoo You and that neither "Undercover Of the Night" or "She Was Hot" were hits, but I think it's really good. I think it was their last really good album. My favorite song on it is probably "Too Much Blood".

You're lucky that you got two episodes. That's pretty cool. Junior High was an awful time for me, so knowing that CIC was on when I got home from school, it helped me get through many a day.

Even though I tend to talk more about the CBS version, since it is my favorite version of the show, I love the first two seasons of the syndicated version as well. I really like Sarah.

Believe it or not, I didn't like Exile much when I first bought it in 1994, but it has really grown on me over the years. Let It Bleed is a classic in ever way. There are so many great songs on it. My favorites are "Gimme Shelter" and "Monkey Man".

Yup - they still make Zelda games. The latest they released was Twilight Princess for the 'Cube and Wii - came out at the end of 2006. I heard they're coming out with a Zelda game for the DS that is supposed to be out later this year, although I haven't heard anything about it as of late.

You're lucky that you got two episodes. That's pretty cool. Junior High was an awful time for me, so knowing that CIC was on when I got home from school, it helped me get through many a day.

Even though I tend to talk more about the CBS version, since it is my favorite version of the show, I love the first two seasons of the syndicated version as well. I really like Sarah.

Believe it or not, I didn't like Exile much when I first bought it in 1994, but it has really grown on me over the years. Let It Bleed is a classic in ever way. There are so many great songs on it. My favorites are "Gimme Shelter" and "Monkey Man".

Houses of the Holy is the Led Zeppelin album that took a while to grow on me. I didn't know what to make of that one for a long time.

That's a great song. My favorite though is "Dazed And Confused". That song gives me goosebumps because it is so powerful. I remember as a teenager cranking the bass up on that song and the windows would shake. :rock:

I have never seen Led in concert, but hell, there are sure a lot of Led Zeppelin tribute bands around. I have seen, at least, four; the worse one, was this all female tribute called, Moby Chick; they were freaking awful...then, I saw this other one called, Lep Zepplica..the lead singer kept staring at his reflection while he was on stage, because there was a full length mirrior near by:lol:


John Paul Jones is the greatest bass player in rock history, I think. He was a true musician who was in the buisness for the music because he was a very conservative guy who stayed away from all the rock star trappings like drugs and groupies.

I was way too young to see Led Zeppeiln live, but I do have a whole bunch of live albums and DVDs and videos.

Probably over at my aunt and uncle's house, or I could've been in the backyard where my mom's parents lived. My grandmother had one of those steel tubs that she'd fill up with water. Loved that thing. Can't say for sure since I was only two months away from my 2nd birthday. :lol:

I don't like Presence much either. And In Through The Out Door isn't a whole lot better. In a way, it is probably good that they split-up when they did because these last two albums were such a disappoitment.
