I have a problem with font sizes on Paint Shop Pro X. When I want to put text on an avatar and set the font to a small size, the text always comes out as a smudge and is completely unreadable.

For example, the black mark on her dress is supposed to say "Raven". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v334/RavenOnline/62-1.gif
And this was when the font was set to Arial size 8. Then to try to make the font readable, I have to increase the size and it usually ends up being too big for the graphic I'm making.

Can anybody help??

Sorry, I don't do PSP. I hate it with a burning passion.

I use Adobe Photoshop. Itaught myself then used it in my graph arts classes. I know it with my eyes closed.

I have PSP7, so I'm probably not much help, but is the "Auto-Kearning" box checked on your font thing? It should be.
