Thelma Evans gets my vote, she's more likeable imo.

Here are another couple of similarities: both Thelmas were abysmal cooks, and neither could get married without a calamity occuring to the groom (GT's Keith breaking his leg and Amen's Reuben fainting at the altar).

Wouldn't have been funny to have the two Thelmas interact? Maybe in an Amen episode, Keith could've been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and he and Thelma could've joined the First Community Church. Let the disasters begin!!! :rofl:

Thelma married a football player named Keith Anderson in the final season. In the series finale, she found out she was pregnant, so we never saw the baby born or anything like that. Thelma of Amen, however, gave birth to a baby boy in that show's series finale.

Thelma Frye annoyed the hell out of me with that constant whinning. Even if she didn't she is still no match for Thelma Evans.

Thelma Frye was so loud, I've actually had to turn down the volume when she speaks, or mute it. :lol: I think Reuben could've done a lot better than her - sorry if that sounds too mean. :lol:
