I know this has been done before. One example I can think of is when Unsolved Mysteries went from NBC to CBS.

It's a joke that ABC is thinking about renewing According to Jim and not George??? Not to mention the 2 lower rated rookie shows that are coming back and cavemen!??!?

Hell, even if a cable network picked it up for one last season that's be great too.

And forget all this stuff about a Latino show because George Lopez had mostly non-Latino viewership like me!

No chance. George didn't want his show to end like this so abruptly so he would have gone to another network to keep his show.
